Thank you for your hard work translatind the book!
I started reading it a few days ago and your translations and notes are very helpful (specially japanese customs and the map and family trees).
Considering Seishin's the villagers' gossip material I'm somewhat amazed at how no one is saying anything about their relationship. Is it because they respect Toshio too much? That perhaps be it. It'll perhaps be different if the one Seishin frequents isn't Toshio. Will they stay silent when knowing Seishin's 'improper' habits though? But I figure they'll be blaming Seishin more than they do Toshio.
