sooo I want to ask something. I was reading your conversation with airlynx, and you mentioned that there's some differences in the novel, that Seishin goes to Kanemasa and asks about his father, but then is being held hostage in Kanemasa because he knows too much -- so is this part about Seishin witnessing Toshio torturing Kyouko absent in the novel? (that moment of Moral Horizon) because that's what I perceived from your reply, maybe I read wrong though.

The difference is considerably more subtle than I think I made it seem. Even "hostage" is more of a term of technicality than anything, but.. For the most part, it really does go according to what we know, until Natsuno's anime/manga only arc.

that's relieving :D well that moment of Moral Horizon is kind of the climax of the story isn't it? It'll not be fun if the novel doesn't have it. (because it's that moment which would separate Toshio and Seishin for good)

The novel has plenty to look forward to; Seishin and Ozaki have at least two novel-only confrontations before that which I remember.
