Maybe nicer than most of the characters in Shiki, definitely takes after his mother. He holds some bitterness, a darkness which gradually becomes bigger and bigger, and finally takes over when he decides to go all 'fuck everything'. (about that though, I dunno, maybe it's a both good and bad thing for him. Not having outlets - not able to find even one - and keep everything bottled up inside is surely damaging to a person. I have to keep that in mind)

Oh yeah, is the 'old scar' referring to the scar on his wrist? I think it is?

Looking forward to the continuations. Thank you very much, as always! Being a good monk means nobody can hassle him about his side job, which he pushes himself quite far for without rest but apparently doesn't want others to acknowledge (Toshio put his article out specifically knowing it'd annoy him to have others reading it). Really, if one of the others took over the temple, it would be fine beyond some public shame and gossip flaring up. I personally can only blame Seishin himself for whatever "it" was building up into what it did. But then, I'm not very sympathetic to him; from a more sympathetic angle, he doesn't even go 'fuck everything' until the human side shows sides he deems inhumane. It's proven that just quietly staying out of it like his mother did would have ended worse for him. Or maybe that would have actually been preferred for him, given his history and that scar.

More to come, as always! Thread Reply to this Thread from start Parent
