“I’m nervous.” Yohanne restlessly said while he keeps moving his fingers on the table.
“You just have to relax. You look like you're going to poop.” Eros irritably said to Yohanne who was agitated.
They were in the garden of Gazelle's house. The party was quite simple. A variety of foods were served, karaoke and a little gimmick. The party started around seven p.m., Gazelle's classmates, friends, and relatives were present.
Yohanne was agitated, he was quite unsure on how he will confess to Gazelle. He plans to tell her his feelings but he was nervous.
“Argghh! I can't do it! I’ll just go home!” Yohanne stood up and was about to go out.
“Oy, are you stupid? Go back to your seat!” Eros grabbed his shirt for him to sit again.
"Yohanne don't go. Wait for the right time and you will be able to tell her your feelings." Eris said.
"Right time? When? Can't you see that she's surrounded by her friends and family, how can I talk to her privately? I don't think I can ever confess to her, I just knew that I can only dream of her." He banged his head on the table and stayed in that position. He feels desperate.
Eris was worried about Yohanne. She asked Eros who was beside her. "Hey, Ero-ero! What should we do as their cupids? Look, Yohanne looks pitiful. Can you make a way for them to talk so that he can confess to her? Hey, Ero-ero!"
Eros didn't mind her and just continued eating. She tugged his sleeves. "Hey Ero-ero, come on! Please Ero-ero. Don't just keep on eating! Ero-ero!"
"Who will sing next?" announced the one who just finished singing in the karaoke.
Because Eros was irritated with Eris annoying him, he answered the one who announced in front and pointed at Yohanne whose head was still on the table. "Him! He wants to sing!"
Yohanne's head abruptly raised. "What? Ha? Me? No!"
Eros pushed him to stand-up and continued on pushing him to the front to sing. "Go! I will beat you up if you won't go!"
"But Eros… it's embarrassing. I don't want to…"
Eros went near him and whispered. "You don't have the guts to approach and talk to her? Now you have a microphone, I don't think she will not notice and hear you."
"Ha? What do you mean?"
Eros strongly patted his back and pushed him again. "Go!"
Yohanne arrived at the front due to Eros pushing him; the microphone was passed to him by the previous singer. "Hi! Choose the song you like."
He chose a song and it was entitled "Ngiti (Smile)" by Ronnie Liang.

Yohanne was quite uncomfortable singing at first, he was not used to singing in front of many people especially since he doesn't know everyone; only Eros, Eris, and Gazelle.
Ah. Gazelle.
Where could she be? Yohanne scanned the area to search for the girl he secretly admired for a long time. His eyes stopped scanning when he saw the face he gazes every day. She was standing near a table talking with a girl.
He smiled. His nervousness seemed to vanish; it was because he was only able to see Gazelle even though there were plenty of people at the time.

He was taken aback when she looked at him and their eyes met. He was really surprised when she smiled and waved at him.
He felt that his heart was going to burst; the song fits his feelings, because seeing her smile was his favorite.

Yohanne sang the song wholeheartedly while still gazing at Gazelle. She was still looking and listening to him. He wants to convey his true feelings through the song. He finished singing and went back to his seat.
"Wow Yohanne! You sang very well." Eris clapped joyfully.
"If not now, when?"
"Eh?" Eros and Eris were confused when Yohanne suddenly talked to himself.
"I will tell her, I can't take it anymore. I will confess to her." Yohanne suddenly ran, leaving both Eros and Eris at the table. He approached Gazelle and he touched her arm.
"Oh, Yohanne? You sang really well!"
"Gazelle, can we talk?"
"Aren't we talking already?"
"In private Gazelle… please." Yohanne seriously uttered.
"Eh? Ah, okay." Gazelle agreed. They went inside the kitchen, since no one was there.
"What is it Yohanne? Why do we need to talk in private? Is it confidential?" Gazelle asked curiously.
"Gazelle…" His heart was beating so loud, he felt like his tongue would curb anytime. He doesn't want to be gutless at that moment but he was so nervous.
"Yes? What is it Yohanne?"
He breathed deeply before he spoke.
"Maybe you don't remember or noticed but since elementary we are already schoolmates…"
"Eh? Really? Wow! I really didn't know Yohanne…"
"Yes… we were always in different sections. But even though we are, I still notice you. I was so happy whenever I get to see you at the hallway despite the fact that you don't seem to see me, that you don't know I exist at all - I was still very happy. Every time I see you, I seem to forget everything."
"W-wait Yohanne…"
"I can't believe that the day would come that I would be able to talk to you - that you would know that a Yohanne Garcia exists in this world."
"Yohanne… w-what.. Y-yohanne…"

Gazelle was unable to speak for a few seconds because she was shocked with what Yohanne revealed. But when she recovered, she smacked Yohanne's shoulders.
"AHAHAHA! It's my birthday, but you're joking at me!" Yohanne stopped her hand that smacked his shoulders.
"What if I tell you I was not joking? That it is not a joke? What if I tell you I'm serious?"
"Y-yohanne…" Gazelle doesn't know what to say.
"Gazelle… I love you. I really love you. I love you so much."
"Ah… Eh…" Gazelle was lost for words. It caught her off guard.
"Can I court you?"
"Hey Gazelle! You’re just here! We were looking for you." Gazelle and Yohanne were surprised when a few of Gazelle's girl friends showed up.
"Larry is here! You're very handsome suitor! Come on! He's looking for you!" Gazelle was pulled away from Yohanne by one of the girls.
