Waking up, Will felt a throbbing in his head as he could hear the beats of his heart pound against his eardrums.
Looking around the room in the cave, he realized that it was unusually bright inside the room.
A floating ball of light in his room was like a miniature sun, so bright he was unable to look directly at it.
Sitting up he placed his feet on the ground and exerted a little strength to stand up, the little strength resulted in him flying off of the ground and crashing into the top of the room, and falling down with a bang.
Dust fell from the walls of the room.
Where his feet pressed against the ground a couple hair sized cracks could be seen on the surface.
It has to be mentioned that Will is pretty skinny, he has a light build of muscle and only weighs about 50kgs.
For him, with his build, 50kgs is really too little, his weight mostly comes from his bones.
So he looks like someone who hardly eats, noticeable though is his face, his face resembles that of a very healthy person, unless you take his shirt off, there is no way to notice how starved he looks.
So although the level of strength he has gained can make him a level 2 melee fighter, his strength can only compare to a child who just became a level 1 melee fighter at most.
So far his main struggle is getting stronger than the children he encounters.
Although his total strength isn't much, it's enough to send him, with his weight, flying with a single press onto the ground.
It looks like he gained more speed than strength.
After taking the potion, his muscles didn't increase in size, they became denser.
Standing up, popping sounds echoed from within his body as he stretched his muscles and joints, letting out a smile at the feeling of his new strength.
He was more excited about his speed increase though, moving his limbs, he could feel the force of his muscles build up waiting to be released, his ability to use strength in bursts has increased tremendously, enabling him to increase his speed.
If used correctly it can also help him deal with his weaker physique.
Thinking about it, the force of his muscles building up is like a snake preparing to strike.
Realizing this, a thought popped into Will's head, and once it popped up it grew stronger.
'Maybe with the potions I can gain some of the abilities of the creatures I use as ingredients?'
Thinking up to this, Will was excited for the next time he makes a potion, if he uses a creature as an ingredient next time, he can check to see if his guess is correct if he gains one of that creature's abilities.
'Even with blood that carried a thin dragon bloodline I still passed out for several hours when making the potion'
Shaking his head, he gathered his things as he decided to talk to the girl. Leaving the room he paused slightly as he realized something.
"I forgot to get her name!"
Thinking of a way to ask her name without feeling awkward, Will walked through the little dark passageway that connected to his room.
In the passageway, the occasional sounds of something crashing heavily into the walls of the passage accompanied by Will's cursing could be heard.
After an hour of walking Will finally exited the passageway and entered the girl's room, sitting at a small stone table the girl was playing with a dark mist.
Hearing him come in, the girl opened her hand and the dark mist entered her palm, walking to him, her dark robes ruffled in the breeze her movements created.
"What do you wish to talk about?"
Standing in front of him, the girl smiled as she asked, looking into the passageway with a glint in her eyes.
'Could she already know that because I couldn't control my strength, I flung myself into the walls several times!?'
Will's face got a little red as he thought of how embarrassing it would be if she were to tease him.
"I heard banging coming from the passageway"
Looking at his expression she smirked, she could already tell his strength increased, and with that sudden increase, it would make sense if he had issues using his strength normally.
Seeing her already teasing him like a friend would, he frowned a little, they only knew each other for a day, how can you already be so friendly?
He completely forgot about the fact that he told her about his unique ability and the system the first day they met.
Sitting down at the small table, he braced himself for the question he was about to ask as his expression became a serious level of serious.
Sitting at the table, the girl couldn't help but feel curious as she looked at his expression.
Did something bad happen?
Did someone fall in a well?
After a few awkward seconds passed, Will finally opened his mouth, "What is you name?"
Sitting there at the table, the light from the floating flame flickered several times before the girl reacted.
Falling off of her seat she clutched her stomach as she laughed and rolled all over the ground.
Tears sliding down her face, she gasped as she spoke, "Such a. a. serious face. F. for this question!?"
At this point Will could only rub his forehead as he watched her roll on the floor laughing.
Was it really that funny?
'I thought she would be upset, I am pretty sure she told me her name when I explained my ability to her'
The day he explained his ability to her, she did indeed tell him her name.
She burst into a fit of laughter then as well, only, it wasn't because she thought something was funny.
It was because Will's ability could help her sect defeat their enemy and rise to power.
Back to the present, after she calmed down her face showed a serious expression as she glared at Will.
"I can't believe you forgot my name!"
"You told me when you did your little 'evil plan success' laugh!"
Standing up, she brushed the dirt off of her robes as she slightly bowed, "My name is Cecily"
"I'm sorry Cecily for forgetting your name, I will introduce myself again"
Bowing slightly towards Cecily, Will introduced himself, looking at Cecily he smiled.
As the light from the floating flame flickered, Cecily whispered in her heart, 'Cecily, meaning blind'
