In the cave the floating flame flickered constantly as Cecily turned around to look at Will, "I know this is sudden, but I'm going into closed door cultivation for some time, I might not be out in a while"
Looking at Cecily Will felt a pinch in his heart, standing up he looked closely at her, 'She seems to be reluctant to not spend time with me, or is it that she wishes to pry more information of my abilities from me?'
Looking at her, Will checked to make sure he had all of his items before he started to walk towards the exit of the cave, "Then I will explore the forest and get to know my new strength better"
Leaving the cave, Cecily watched him as he left, her small fists clenched as she went hmphd and walked away.
Walking through the forest, Will would stop to feel all the plants he passed by, after taking the strength enhancement potion his strength was increased by four times, and his senses were as well.
So feeling the texture of the leaves and flowers, and smelling them as he walked through the forest caused him to lose sense of time.
Even the ordinary plants let off small amounts of energy!
Feeling and smelling all the plants left him feeling relaxed as he wandered about aimlessly through the forest.
If anyone saw him at this moment they would think him a madman and would steer clear of the vicinity.
This went on for a few hours.
As he was enjoying wandering through the forest, he felt that if he went into a certain direction he would find something useful to him.
Ever since he started using the potion maker ability, he has been able to sense ingredients or potential potion ingredients.
So he decided to head in the direction he was sensing.
After walking for an hour, Will stumbled onto a bush glowing in a neon green, with his feeling intensifying manifold, he opened up the bush to find a strawberry glowing scarlet red.
Grabbing this strawberry, he felt an intense heat come from it and travel up his arm, collecting it, he went into another direction he was sensing.
Walking in this direction he felt the temperature in the surroundings drop slightly, an hour or so passed until he walked into a clearing full of dead plants.
In the center of this clearing was a pale blue flower coated in ice crystals, approaching this flower Will felt as if the heat from his body was being drained from it as his heart beat started to slow.
Surprisingly, both plants he found had no beasts guarding it, maybe it's because they are not useful for the beasts?
Collecting the flower, Will's body went into a half hibernation state as his cloudy mind tried to stay awake.
Thankfully the human body is highly adaptive, after a few minutes Will's body started to let out immense amounts of heat as his stomach started to growl.
To make heat you need energy, and in this situation, he needs a lot.
Walking through the forest, Will's body let off clouds of steam as his body heat conflicted with the icy flower that he collected.
Stopping to take a rest, Will enjoyed the breeze blowing through the forest as he leaned against a tree listening to his stomach complain.
As he was enjoying the surroundings, he heard a rustling in some bushes near him as he sat up ready to fight or run.
As the stressful atmosphere kept building, a little blue rabbit hopped out of the bushes as it twitched it's nose in his direction.
Looking at this rabbit and listening to his growling stomach, Will tried to put on a friendly smile as he slowly approached the rabbit with his arms spread open to catch it.
"Rabbit rabbit"
Calling the rabbit in as gentle of a voice as he could Will approached the little blue rabbit as it gave him a very human-like expression of mockery.
"Come here rabbit, I won't hurt you~"
Sitting down, the rabbit twitched it's nose at Will as it gave him an expression as if waiting for him to make a fool of himself.
Seeing these expressions, Will shook his head as he figured he was seeing things because of hunger.
Approaching the rabbit, Will's eyes flashed as he lunged forward to capture his prey.
With a sneer, the blue rabbit spat a bolt of lightning at Will as he was in the middle of trying to capture the rabbit.
An agonized scream echoed through the forest as Will collapsed onto the ground staring wide eyed at the blue rabbit.
As Will was laying there paralyzed, a cool breeze blew past causing leaves to rustle.
Looking at Will, a few low squeaks came out of the rabbit's mouth as if it was mocking him.
Hopping over to Will, the rabbit kicked a few clouds of dirt in his face as it decided to hop away, seeing the rabbit turn it's back, Will managed to move his hand and grab the rabbit.
"You d*mn rabbit!"
Smirking, Will started to sit up as he lifted the rabbit up by it's leg as he prepared to punch it in its head with all of his strength.
Noticing it was in danger, the rabbit shifted it's weight, causing Will; who was preparing to strike, to be flung up into the air and slam onto the ground.
Will was determined to not let go, he was practically going to die of hunger unless he manages to cook up this rabbit.
This scene repeated several times, with Will being slammed into boulders, trees, the ground, and even tossed into the sky.
He just wouldn't let go, after awhile when the rabbit was finally tired, Will managed to punch the rabbit with a burst of power, killing it.
Sitting on the ground panting, Will winced as his bruises and scrapes started to throb with pain, skinning and cleaning the rabbit, Will went deep into thought.
Will thought that if he could absorb some abilities from the creatures he uses as an ingredient, what if he makes a potion using an ant to gain its ability to lift many times its own weight?
If his guess is right, he should gain it's ability.
"Well, time to capture some ants, but for now I should find a spot to roast this, I will start a forest fire here"
Looking around at all the bushes and dried grass, Will decided to find a better place to roast this rabbit.
Walking for a couple hours, Will found two mana stones laying in the forest, making him excited, mana stones can be used to increase the speed of making potions!
Finally finding a spot to roast his rabbit, he runs into a group of children, seeing him they don't speak a word before surrounding him and pummeling him into the ground.
Grabbing the rabbit meat he worked hard for, the group of children walked away with smiles on their faces like they finished stealing candy from a baby.
'Do I look so easy to pick on!?'
'How are children out in the forest by themselves!?'
Clenching his fists, Will stands up as he glared at the direction the kids vanished, wishing nothing more than to strangle them slowly.
He was defeated by children again!
They even stole his food!
Worse yet, they didn't even say anything, it was like he wasn't worth their time!
"D*mn it!"
Punching a nearby tree, Will grabs his stomach as he starts looking for a place to sleep as it was getting close to nighttime.
It seems he still isn't a match for children!
Coincidentally, all those children were level 1 melee fighters, just one would be enough to severely beat Will who is a level 2 melee fighter.
It's all because he was weak originally, so no matter what level of fighter he is, he will be weaker than those at the same level.
He's even weaker than a young girl in this world!
As a male, feeling this weak makes his blood boil!

Walking for an hour, he finds a ravine, fortunately in this ravine there was a bush of berries, so as the sun set, Will ate his fill of berries until he fell asleep.
Time passed quickly as he had a good night's sleep.
