Just when Ye Qiao thought that this male reportercould be the mastermind of the whole thing, another female reporter stood up to ask another question.
“Miss Ye, I have another question. There was no announcement regarding the amount of supplies bought. How can you guarantee that the amount of supplies purchased will tally with the amount received by the victims? “the female reporter stood up and asked sharply.
Ye Qiao nodded, “Thank you for your question. Does anyone else have questions? Please bring them all up. I will answer them together. Then, she stood up and looked at the big screen behind her. “Many of the donations this time are collected on the spot so we can’t be specific to the individual or how much money was donated. However, we have a detailed list of the accounts of each venue. Please have a look.”
“We have volunteers who record the number of people who were given donations. We have calculated the total amount of each venue and the average amount of donations for each person. I have also took the liberty to have notaries attend today to supervise the donation” she said to everyone in the room and invited two notaries to step forward. One being a man and the other, a woman.
She couldn’t help but admire b brother Jiang’s foresight and idea to have the notaries supervise them.
After the two notaries introduced themselves, they told her about the situation at the venue. “We guarantee that these accounts are consistent with the accounts of the income of each venue!” the male notary said.
“Everyone, do you have any questions about the actual amount of donations we received? Ye Qiao asked.
Some of the reporters shook their heads while others were noncommittal. Ye Qiao smiled and said, “Perhaps, a lot of people think that notaries can also be questioned, right?”
