Flying Skyship

[T/N: It’s a little bit different than an actual blimp. I see it as an actual flying boat so that’s that.]

“I am not just a wizard, but I also own a fortified Flying Skyship. Let me guide you”
[T/N: That’s a new term.]

“Amazing!!”

That is to say, we walked to the flying Skyship owned by Bell.

As we walked, we talked about various things.

“Does Bell’s father and mother know?”

“About what?”

“That you partnered with me.”

“If it’s that, you don’t have to worry. I already have consent.”

Apparently, there seem to be no strange idiots here. That young adult looks confident in appearance.

“Even if that’s the case, I’m glad. For Bell inviting me”

“Fufu, thanks. But I was also happy to have a girl aiming to be a swordsman. That is also full of energy. And it isn’t that bad”

“You’re welcome! After all, there are few people who appreciate girls using swords nowadays. I wonder why”

When asking the question like that soliloquy, Bell replied with a slightly angry expression.

“Sharuru, do you have fun wielding the sword?”

“It’s really fun! I love it!!”

The answer to the question was an immediate reply. In particular, she has fond memories of the weapon.

“That’s right, isn’t it. I wish I could keep on thinking like you. …In any case, as you may know, but as long as it is the gender of women, becoming a swordsman is harder than you can imagine.”

“That’s…right. But it’s really wonderful.”

“Want to know why? Why are there so few women swordsmen like this? No, I think it would be better for you to know properly.”

Bell organized it inside herself before starting a heavy story.

“This is also a well-known fact, that almost all women Challenger are mages. That’s the reason why it is easier for us. Of course, for any occupation has talent or unsuited, at least the third party of society doesn’t hinder you. Other choices than that path will be inevitably closed”

“Uhm, I understand that they do not want us to be swordsmen…”

The voices of fury gradually goes down, it is very troublesome, but Sharuru who doesn’t know anything felt hard to keep up with the story.

“For short, it’s seen lowly. I’ve been told before. ‘It is impossible for a woman to put her body on the front line as a swordsman. It is extremely uneasy to leave the lives of rear guard to physically inferior creatures.’, they say”

“Wha…!?”

Literally the open mouth is not closed.
[T/N: It means, they speak bluntly without hiding anything.(It’s a nice phrase so I kept it original)]

Sharuru was made aware of it sooner as she don’t understand yet.

“But but, didn’t I practice so much!?”

“That’s not it. Do you know the word ‘uniform deduction’? It doesn’t matter if you don’t know, well~ that means that as long as you are a woman you can’t do that”

“It’s a very sad story…”

“…Eh, that’s right. Ah, it’s here. My Flying Skyship, “Fritter(BOLD)””

When such opposite side of society is suddenly thrust forth, I saw a large object like a ship enshrined. It is somewhat blackish but it is still blindingly reflecting sunlight, yet it’s still cool.

The simple Sharuru was instantly glued to the Flying Skyship.

“This is a Flying Skyship…! It’s big! It’s really amazing to have one!”

“Thanks. But aren’t there many more higher-performance and wider Flying Skyships than mine?”

“Hey hey, is it okay for me to take a ride??”

“That’s of course”

After the owner’s permission came down, she quickly got inside.

It has two beds secured inside and the space is enough for the two girls to freely move in the bedroom. Besides a simple kitchen and a shower, etc., roughly a troubleless lifestyle with furniture arranged in every way.

There is still room even if you exclude them, in addition even if you swing a katana you will not hit the surrounding objects. Then they could do simple sparring.

“Is this Sharuru’s first time riding a Flying Skyship?”

“Mm!! It’s the first in my life! I feel very excited!”

The innocent frolic appearance was pleasing, and Bell was also smiling naturally.

“But it’s still too early to be surprised. From now on we will be moving on this”

“I’m looking forward to it! I want to go to various places”

“Fufu. First of we have to decide where to go. Our first step should be memorable”

We’ve already prepared clothes for a week, food and savings, and there are some stockpiles in this Flying Skyship. The concern is how far they can go and how far they can hunt with just two people. I can’t be sure if I worded it properly, but as long as we look strong enough to overwhelm some Challengers away, it might be possible to expect a good harvest if we focus on a small fish. In conjunction with that, Bell will also plan to use bang bang magic, it might somehow work out.
[T/N: You’re not seeing things. It was seriously written like that.]

We decided to move the hunted spoils somewhere. Though there might not be enough places, but there is a place where you can hunt preys while keeping a certain degree of distance. You can do it through there, and some people were excited to cook prey by themselves or cut corners etc. without cashing out. There are surprisingly many Challengers encamped.

Bell intends to securely cash out because it is not in the least bit the end, such as Sharuru intending to expose herself to the outside wind.

“Let’s go to a relatively safe place first”

“Mm, at long last I can see if I can fight strong monsters”

“That’s right. I knew that would be true for the energetic and lively Sharuru. But if you or I want to quit we’ll stop it”

“But but–“

“I won’t let you down”

“I understand!”

“Great”

I wanted to draw Sharuru’s feelings because she was forced to partner halfway to myself, but there is something like a responsibility to protect this time, even if there was no such thing I do not want to encounter dangerous eyes.

“First of all, we have to collect funds from now on, so how about in a near place?”

“It’s fine. I also have to return sometimes”

As the partner’s approval was received, the curtain was opened to a new adventure both nominally and virtually.

YunisCold’s Thoughts

A lot of details dumped in this chapter.

I really struggled with this chapter. Trust me, I postponed the translation for about 5 days or something because every time I looked at the complex characters, I can’t help but feel disheartened. This time I somehow got a little bit of courage by looking at non-translated JP novels.

Anyway, it took me 6 sessions to completely fill everything up.

As a form of apology I’ll skip writing God Of Myriad Lifetimes for one chapter, and immediately proceed with translating chapter 5. I still don’t guarantee it’ll immediately come out though.

I really can’t compare with all my senpais out there that can keep translating everyday…
