Chapter 50 – Heartbeat
It was a warm and sweet kiss .
Gao Yu Lan was so excited that her scalp turned numb . He actually came! He actually came to her in the middle of the night!
She hugged him tightly and stood on tiptoes to meet his kiss . She could also feel Yin Ze’s excitement because his kisses were rough, his lips and tongue movements were very demanding and he was holding her so tightly that she felt some pain . However, she was very happy and she returned his kiss hard . He was excited because of her and her heart was filled with sweetness .
The two people kissed for a long time and finally, they let go reluctantly . Yin Ze held her face in his hands, studied her face left and right, and then kissed her eyebrows, kissed her nose, and kissed her mouth . He said . “Did you grown thinner? You’re not eating well because I’m not here to cook for you, is that right?”
She hugged his waist tightly and repeatedly called him . “Yin Ze……Yin Ze…… . ”
Finally, Yin Ze noticed her dressing . She only had on a thin set of pajamas with a coat over her shoulders and her two calves were bare and she was wearing a pair of slippers . He quickly bundled her into the car and said . “Why didn’t you dress properly before you come out? What if you catch a cold?”
She shook her head . “It’s okay, it’s okay, I’m not cold . I was anxious so I didn’t pay attention to my dressing . ”
Yin Ze embraced her and they were squeezed in the back seat . He took off his coat and wrapped it around her legs and feet to keep her warm . The two people hugged each other and did not speak .
She looked up at his face, looked at his eyes, looked at his nose, and reached out her hand to touch the fines line at the corner of his eyes . His eyes were bright, he had a pert nose and the small wrinkles at the corner of his eyes were so adorable . When she first met him, she did not think he was handsome but now the more she looked at him, the more pleasing he is to her eyes and felt he is really good-looking .
He bit her finger and lowered his head to kiss her again . The two people gasped for breath as they became entangled with each other in the back seat . He kissed her repeatedly and in a calm voice, he said . “I don’t want to let you go back . ”
Gao Yu Lan muttered under his lips . “I don’t want to go back, I want to be with you . ”
He was surprised for a moment and stared at her . Her cheeks had turned pink, her eyes fluttered charmingly which made Yin Ze’s heart beat rapidly . He gulped, rubbed his nose against her nose, placed his lips close to her lips, and asked again . “Not going back?”
Gao Yu Lan’s answer was to cling to him with her arms around his neck and kissed him . Naturally, he would not refuse her sweetness and he returned her kisses honestly and without courtesy . He sucked her hard until they were breathless and then he released her .
The eyes of the two people were trained on each other and the exchange threw fire sparks in all directions .
“Where is the nearest hotel?”
“Well, there seems to be one, two junctions down the road and turn right, I can’t quite remember . ” Gao Yu Lan nestled in the arms of Yin Ze with muddled brains .
Who can still remember the way, ah?!
He pinched her face . “Seems? Are you a local here?”
“I rarely come back and the city changes very fast . ”
Yin Ze got out from the back seat and got into the front driver seat then started the car and sped forward . Gao Yu Lan hugged his coat as she sat in the back seat and laughed foolishly thinking all this seemed so unreal .
He is right in front of her, right beside her .
Yin Ze found the hotel and after completing the procedures of checking in, he went back to the car to fetch Gao Yu Lan, who was wrapped in his big coat, with her calves exposed and wearing a pair of cartoon slippers, into the hotel .
Gao Yu Lan’s dressing could be considered as indecent but fortunately, it was midnight and they did not meet anyone along the way . In the elevator, he held her hands and watched her as she kept smiling . She blushed when he stared at her and finally feeling uncomfortable, she grabbed his hand and gave him a bite . Yin Ze burst into laughter just as the elevator door opened . He hugged her, led her out of the elevator while he bit on her ears, and said . “Later, I’ll let you bite me until you’re satisfied . ”
Gao Yu Lan blushed and did not know what to say . She followed him into the room and as soon as the door closed, she was pushed against the wall and was fiercely kissed . In fact, all this while Gao Yu Lan followed Yin Ze mindlessly . Her only thought was to be with him but now, it is the case of a single man and a single woman in a situation of dry wood burning in raging flames* and she suddenly seemed to have a sense of reality .

“What’s the matter?” Yin Ze stopped and looked at her .
“Well, I was thinking about whether I should take a bath . ”

Yin Ze stared at her and wanted to cover his heart with his hand . He lamented . “Baby, are you an atmosphere killer?”
Gao Yu Lan lowered her eyes and fiddled with the buttons on his shirt . She felt a little nervous and tried to find something to say . “Yin Ze, when I came in with you looking like this and the security in the lobby saw me, will they think I’m that kind of woman?”
He understood what she was implying and he replied . “No, that kind of woman won’t wear two coats to wrap them so tightly around herself nor will she wear cartoon slippers . ”
She thought for a moment and then laughed . Yin Ze placed his forehead against her forehead and whispered . “Bad girl . ”
She pouted and did not understand why she was being scolded . He pulled her to the bedside, spread out the quilt, and then helped her to take off the coats . Then he pushed her onto the bed and wrapped her with the quilt . “Lie down for a while, I’ll send you home later . ”
Gao Yu Lan laid down on the bed with only her pair of eyes exposed and her gaze swept around him . “What are you going to do?”
“I’m the one who is suppose to take a shower . ” Yin Ze answered and quickly entered the bathroom .
Gao Yu Lan waited and waited . She waited until she was about to fall asleep and drowsily she heard him come back into the room . She felt him get into bed then and then followed by cold arms that dragged her into an embrace .
“Wa!” Instantly she woke up from the sudden cold . “Did you jump into the ice bucket?”
Yin Ze did not speak and only used his cold hands and feet to reach for Gao Yu Lan . She screamed when she felt his icy touch .
“Don’t hug me when you’ve made yourself so cold . It wasn’t easy for me to finally warm up!”
“I want to make you freeze . Who was the one that made me take a cold shower?”
“What has that to do with me?” Gao Yu Lan felt she was being wronged . “Why do you need to take a cold shower?”
“I’m a man . ”

Yin Ze stared at her . “You seduced me and then refused to ravage me . Now you won’t even allow me to take a cold shower to cool down?”

Gao Yu Lan was speechless . Well……she did do that .

She stammered out the words . Yin Ze felt like he was electrocuted and instantly pushed the upper half of his body up . “What did you say? Do you mean you also want to make me yours?” He blinked his eyes with shyness and looked expectantly at her .

“You’ve decided to treat me indecently and now you request that I speak seriously?”

“Then you must mean you want me to treat you indecently?” Yin Ze’s eyes were glittering . Gao Yu Lan slapped him again .

“So just now when you asked whether you need to shower, you were not deliberately trying to undermine the atmosphere and pour cold water on me?”
She blushed and stammered out a reply . “I didn’t deliberately undermine the atmosphere . I was seriously asking . That……although I’ve already taken a shower at home but shouldn’t I take another shower again?”
Yin Ze stared at her and did not know whether to laugh or cry . He asked . “When you said people might mistake you for that kind of woman, wasn’t that criticizing me for not showing you enough respect?”
“No, no……I was……nervous . When I’m nervous, I want to find something to say . ”
Yin Ze was defeated . Feeling dejected, he collapsed and buried his face into the pillow . Gao Yu Lan felt very embarrassed and thinking to comfort him, she touched his head .
Yin Ze exposed his face and muttered . “I’m such a pig! Why did I take a cold shower?”
Gao Yu Lan said sincerely . “It doesn’t matter, don’t blame yourself . It’s alright as long as you didn’t catch a cold . ”
Suddenly he propped up his body then laid on top of her and shouted . “You have to be responsible! You have to take full responsibility for me!”
“Then, then what…… . ” Gao Yu Lan was hugged by him and feeling a little nervous, she said . “Didn’t you say there is no more atmosphere?”
Yin Ze bit her . “The atmosphere is very good!” He lowered his head to kiss her and she timidly entangled with his tongue .
The anticipation of what is going to happen next sent her heart into a wild race .
