Chapter 34 - A Juvenile with Ghost Eyes

XuanHuan 7

Nie Tian judged that the massive powerful men were with the Bloody Bats.
He scurried to the Induction Spiritual Deployment, wasting no time.
On an unknown path that led to Moyang City, thirty or forty men in black showed up. They were wearing uniforms and same stone-cold looks.
"Mr. Director, we're almost out of the Ripcloud Mountain. And Moyang City is on the other side. The Ba's are supposed to send people to greet us. But I don't see nobody," said a skinny senior with sharp eyes to a robust man who was walking in the very front.
The senior was called Liu Yishou, deputy director of the thirty-sixth branch of the Bloody Bats.
Each branch of the Bloody Bats had one director and two deputy directors.
The strong-built man before Liu Yishou was Xiong Ba, Director of the branch. The other deputy director was Ba Wuli, family master of the Bas.
Xiong Ba laughed and spoke in an arrogant manner, "We'll march towards Moyang City without the Bas. I don't really give a damn about the small Moyang City."
"Mr. Director, due attention should be paid to Moyang City," Liu Yishou was more cautious than Xiong Ba, "Ba Ziliang once mentioned two Phenomenalities in Moyang City, one being the city master, the other being a patriarch of a powerful family. Although we are blessed with elites here in the thirty-sixth branch, but caution is the parent of safety."
Xiong Ba stopped, thought it over and said, "Fine. You may send someone to the Bas for information. We move when it's dark."
"Brilliant Your Excellency," Liu yishou flattered and smiled.
Nie Tian appeared and of course, he had heard the conversation.
"The Bas should collude with the Bloody Bats," Nie Tian clenched his fists and his face looked hideous with rage.
It was clear to see that the Bas were in cahoots with the Bloody Bats, as evidenced by the reference and the planned visit to the Bas.
With the association of the grudges between the Bas and the Nies, Nie Tian could easily infer that the tragedy happened to the Nies three years ago must have something to do with the Bas.
"I will have you pay with your bloods," Nie Tian tried to clam down. Even if he was eager to tear them apart right now, he could not afford to get hot-headed.
Nie Tian perceived that over thirty men of the Bloody Bats were all Vital Spirits, some of which were at the ninth level.
To his greater surprise, Xiong Ba, the tall and strong Director, was a Phenomenality at the fifth level, with a even more terrifying cultivation than that of Nie Tai, a Phenomenality at the third level.
"What the hell does the Bloody Bats want with so many powerful men?" Nie Tian was completely sober again. He began to analyze the attempt of the Bloody Bats.
From their conversation, the Bloody Bats seemed to aim at Moyang City.
"Is the Bloody Bats gonna help the Bas control Moyang City?" Thinking of the possibility, Nie Tian's heart sank. If so, not only the Nies would be in danger, but the Magistrate's Mansion would be in trouble.
In the absence of mind, Nie Tian suddenly suddenly felt eyes being projected to him.
Nie Tian looked somewhat unnatural. He overlooked, only to be met by a pair of green eyes.
He who possessed these two green eyes was a juvenile aged fifteen or sixteen. He had this creepily gorgeous face. And he was now smiling at Nie Tian.
"Did he spot me?" Nie Tian was more than surprised. He had maintained a distance of several hundred meters from the Bloody Bats and refrained himself of releasing any pressure. No one would possibly find him, unless he had a mental power above the fortieth level.
That the green-eyed juvenile could locate him meant he was a special guy.
"Are those abnormal pupils of the Gifted?" Nie Tian stared at the green eyes of him and made an assumption.
There were these Kung Fu learners who were born gifted. These Kung Fu learners were called the Gifted.
They normally had even more terrifying power than ordinary people did.
The juvenile's eyes were green and different from those of others, which indicated that he was born with abnormal eyes.
Nie Tian did guess it right. The juvenile who just made eye contacts with him was the Gifted. And he had rare Ghost Eyes.
The Ghost Eyes were able to see the dynamics within a radius of five hundred meters.
"The Thirteenth, what's the problem?" Liu Yishou noticed that the look of Tang the Thirteenth was different and asked alertly.
Tang the Thirteenth, the juvenile with Ghost Eyes, showed a weird smile to Nie Tian and then looked back, saying casually, "It's only a spirit monster. No big deal."
Liu Yishou looked in the direction where Nie Tian was and said no more as he did not find anything abnormal.
"The Thirteenth, you go to Moyang City, check first and bring the Bas here," Xiong Ba ordered Tang the Thirteenth.
"Alright," Tang the Thirteenth answered and left. The pace was too swift for the rest to see him in a blink of an eye.
"Why didn't he tell them where I was?" Nie Tian was puzzled as he saw off Tang the Thirteenth.
Nie Tian thought about it and planed to follow Tang the Thirteenth.
A juvenile with a pair of Ghost Eyes and a cultivation of Vital Spirits at the fifthe level, he just aroused the curiosity of Nie Tian.
Tang the Thirteenth was quicker in speed, but Nie Tian was more familiar with the route.
Moments later, Nie Tian arrived at a forest outside the Ripcloud Mountain.
"Come out, please," Nie Tian put on a faint smile and said plainly.
He having finished the words, Tang the Thirteenth walked out slowly from behind.
"You are good, for you can perceive my presence," Tang the Thirteenth curled up his mouth corner. His Ghost Eyes scanned Nie Tian and he looked somewhat complacent.
"You are no bad, for you have reached the fifth level of Vital Spirits at such a young age," replied Nie Tian. He was not afraid of Tang the Thirteenth. Any abnormal moves of him, Nie Tian would not bother to kill him on the spot.
With two Star Souls, Nie Tian was confident that he could finish Tang the Thirteenth with one strike, even if he had the Ghost Eyes.
However, he did think it a pity to let such a gifted juvenile die.
"Tell me, why didn't you tell my presence?" Nie Tian asked straightforward as he would not waste his breath on Tang the Thirteenth.
Tang the Thirteenth looked at Nie Tian once again, and asked in reply, "You killed the three men with the Bloody Bats?"
Nie Tian was a little surprised. The wits of Tang the Thirteenth were out of his expectation, yet he was still wearing a calm look, "How do you know that?"
"You had the Storage Bag which belonged to one of them, and you smell of the Carcass Pill. I don't think there would be such a thing as the Carcass Pill in Moyang City," Tang the Thirteenth said quite casually.
Nie Tian blamed himself for being careless but wore a mile on his face, "Now that you knew it and did not expose my presence, you must have a deal with me. Just spill it out."
He had been observing Tang the Thirteenth. Although the juvenile was very powerful and clever, he showed no trace of violence, which meant that he was less of a murderer and did not took delight in bloods.
Nie Tian had a feeling that Tang the Thirteenth was less a juvenile killer than a young master from a certain powerful family.
To his most surprise, Tang the Thirteenth looked similar to one of his disciples in his previous life. And that guy happened to share the same family name, Tang, and own the Ghost Eyes.
"Tang Hao, are you related to this juvenile?" Nie Tian smiled within himself.
In the previous life, Nie Tian was the Top Warrior God in the heavenly domain who pursued both the Way of Kung Fu and the Way of Pills. He had numerous disciples and nine of them were personally taught by Nie Tian. And Tang Hao was the last disciple he taught personally.
When Nie Tian acknowledged Tang Hao as his disciple, Tang was still a teenager. A hundred years had passed, Tang Hao would have been a powerful man somewhere if he was still alive.
"I do want to make this deal with you," Tang the Thirteenth had no idea what Nie Tian was thinking. He put aside his smiles and uttered words seriously.
"I'm listening," Nie Tian nodded.
"You kill one person for me," Tang the Thirteenth stared at Nie Tian, as if trying to testify something. It was a shame that he could not see any from Nie Tian.
"Who?" Nie Tian was interested, as it was quite uncommon for a killer to have someone else to do the job.
"If you are from Moyang City, you know him. He is Ba Ziliang, from the Bas," Tang the Thirteenth did not move his eyes away from Nie Tian, but he just could not see him through.
Nie Tian was amused by Tang the Thirteenth, "If I guess it right, Ba Ziliang is with the Bloody Bats, too. Why do you want to kill him when you come from the same group?"
"Personal grudges," Tang the Thirteenth did not want to talk much but reply coldly.
Nie Tian laughed, "I am a Vital Spirits at the second level, while Ba Ziliang is a fourth level. What makes you think that I am able to kill him?"
Tang the Thirteenth said seriously, "My Ghost Eyes."
"Oh," Nie Tian nodded, "I almost forgot that the Ghost Eyes could analyze the power of the man standing before you. So they also tell you that you can't defeat me, don't they?"
Tang the Thirteenth looked frozen but still nodded.
It was admirable for the Gifted to admit someone else was better than him, especially when the ages were similar.
"Okay. I can kill Ba Ziliang for you," Nie Tian nodded, "So what do I have in return?"
Tang the Thirteenth hesitated for a while, "The Bloody Bats were about to help the Bas gain control of Moyang City. If you come from there, I will suggest you take a leave ASAP. Powerful as you are, you can never be an obstacle for the Bloody Bats. I want to trade that information with the life of Ba Ziliang. Is that enough?"
"No, it's not,"Nie Tian declined, "I have known it before you told me."
Tang the Thirteenth was amazed. Clearly he did not fancy Nie Tian to be shrewd.
"So what do you want?" Tang the Thirteenth frowned.
"I kill one person for you and you find a person for me. How does that sound?" Nie Tian put on a faint smile.
"Find a person? Who is it?" Tang the Thirteenth looked puzzled.
Generally speaking, killing was more difficult than finding a person. Why did not Nie Tian bother to do so? Why the need to have Tang the Thirteenth to do the job?
Nie Tian looked up, stared at Tang the Thirteenth and uttered a name, "Tang Hao."
Tang Hao.
Tang the Thirteenth got completely frozen upon hearing the name.
