Wu Qiujun roared out of scorching fury, feeling tempted to slap Qiu Yunchong in the face.
Goddamned it! He wished if only he could have eaten Wandong alive. Colluding with Wandong? That was never gonna happen to him.
Qiu Yunchong appeared literally like a blockhead to him.
Dreadfully deranged, Qiu Yunchong, indeed went insane, and his mind almost stopped working any more.
Not feeling up to figure it out, he simply waved his hand, signaling no interest in Wu Qiujun's story.
"Whatsoever! I will only pay you one thousand and two hundred kilos of gold per piece. That is it!"
"General Qiu, you're making a coerced purchase! That's way out of the line!"
Knitting his eyebrows, Wandong complained.
"To hell with you! You almost got my mind f**ked up okay? How dare you call it a coerced purchase? Can't you see I'm holding back my tears?"
Qiu Yunchong rolled his eyes at Wandong, cursing him furtively.
"Xu Yaoting! Behave yourself!"
Qiu Yunchong was not the only one feeling like crying. Wu Qiujun looked as miserable as it went.
"Wu Qiujun, you'd better watch yourself when you speak! I wouldn't have acted as a peacemaker for you guys if I had harbored malicious intentions! I wouldn't have handed over the raw stones of the blood steel! I wouldn't have stopped you from engaging a deadly duel and ending up in the common ruin. I should have been looking forward to that!"

"What?" On seeing Wu Qiujun shuddering nonstop, Wandong responded impatiently, "Well, I can give up on the 20 percent addition and simply make it two thousand kilos of gold per piece. Leave it or take it! I can, by all means, transport them back to my residence anyway."
Qiu Yunchong got flustered forthwith on hearing that. He couldn't for the life of him let Wandong have the raw stones.

Hardly had Wandong's voice faded away when Qiu Yunchong lifted his head and stared at Wu Qiujun, laying emphasis on each syllable.
"Wu Qiujun, no matter how powerful you're, your Tianbao Mansion is situated inside the borders of the Qingyun Empire. My dad had long declared that we would definitely make one suffer to the last minute before he dies if he dares to fool us."
His threatening statement, however, only ushered in Wu Qiujun's dismissive sneer.
Wu Qiujun had every reason to turn a blind eye — Xu Yaoting already did a fantastic job in fooling Qiu and even drove him nuts with no efforts.
Duan Lengyan stepped up to soothe Qiu before he flew into a rage.
"Yes, it was indeed our fault. We're supposed to undertake the due obligations. Well, General Qiu, didn't you say you are willing to pay one thousand and two hundred kilos of gold per piece? Okay, as you wish! We shall take care of the rest!"
"Leng Yan, why should we throw in the sponge?"
Wu Qiujun growled at Duan Lengyan out of sheer rage.
Duan shook her head and whispered to him, "Martial master, we should focus on the big picture!"
