Jin Mu soon realized that Wandong decided to render his martial competence invalid. The compound of fear and indignation drove Jin Mu crazy through and through. He struggled to break free from Wandong's grab. However, his attempts all ended up in failure as Wandong's grab remained impervious to his wriggling.
"Demon! You are a demon, a demon..." Jin Mu exclaimed to no end out of sheer desperation. However, he soon got out of steam with his spiritual energy flowing away.
Utterly in the dark about what Wandong had done to Jin Mu, Leng Yuecui could tell from Jin Mu's agonized looks that Wandong must have been doing something terrifying to him.

Feeling a great increase in the amount of his Taoist energy and a surge of it running down to his legs, Wandong felt highly invigorated. He finally obtained a shortcut to speedy improvements in his Taoist energy. The only fly in the ointment was that Jin Mu's spiritual energy was far inferior to top-raters like Wu Qiujun in terms of levels. The lump sum of Jin Mu's spiritual energy was not even equal to a slight bit of Wu Qiujun.
"Wu Qiujun, I'm gonna suck up your spiritual energy someday!" Wanodng thought to himself decisively. Then he let go of Jin Mu literally like disposing of a piece of trash.
"What...what did you do to him?" Leng Yuecui asked in a panic on seeing Wandong pacing over.
Wandong shook his head and said, "He won't die. I merely had him deprived of his martial competence."
"What? He...he was rendered useless by you?" Leng Yuecui asked in amazement. How did Wandong manage to disable Jin Mu in a blink of an eye? How come a martial high-achiever regressed such a great deal?
"My big brother, what...what's going on?" Wu Yang popped back and asked, terribly bewildered. He went thunderstruck by the sight of the lying Jin Mu and the writhing underlings holding their broken arms.
Wandong shook his head and responded, "Nothing serious. I just taught a lesson to a couple of thugs. Where is Hu Yue?"
Confirming Wandong's wellbeing, Wu Yang felt much relieved. He answered in an unconcerned tone, "Seems that he didn't show up today."
"He didn't show up?" Wandong asked and knitted his eyebrows.
Wu Yang explained with a smile, "That guy recently picked up a girlfriend. He must be hanging out with the girl now. Will he be in the mood to come for lessons?"
As far as Wandong could remember, Hu Yue was not like what Wu Yang described. But he didn't read too much into it. Being absent for a day or two was no big deal, as Xu Yaoting used to do that in the past.
