The attack that Filianes-san released from her trusting attack shots out just as fast as her trust is. The attack shoot straightforward, enhanced with the power of lightning ---- it was just like some big ass laser shot or something similar. If you get hit by that, even a high rank monster won’t be left unscathed.
The attack move that I did was a composition of fire elemental attack magic [Soul Flame] and attack arts [Power Slash] that I obtain when my ax mastery reached level 40. With the power of power slash attack art that is very effective against enemies with bigger posture, a big slashing arc shaped flame shoots out forward in the sky.
“Why are you, the strongest among bludgeon user in the knight brigade, just easily given up like that? Don’t tell me your hip get weak easily like that”
Soul flame is a fire elemental attack magic that can be used after one reach spirit magic rank 3 (spirit magic skill level 30). Regarding spirit magic, each individual would have a certain element that they will be highly apt with. In my case, I have high aptitude with fire element while Filianes-san has high aptitude with lightning element.
“From seeing my dad do it, I had a feeling that I could also somehow do it”
Filianes-san sheathes her rapier away, walk close to me, then kneel on the ground to matches her line of sight to mine, silently gaze me in the eyes.

That what she says but I can see it. In Filianes-san’s status window, I can read it clearly that she is weak against slimes…… Is there, any bad experience she encounters because of slimes?
---- When I think of that, I suddenly remember something. I, in fact, does have one tamed…… slime monster. I’ve been growing her in secret and she gradually just becomes a strong monster when I realize it.

To dispel negative passive skills that are related to fear against certain monster, other than repeatedly doing an [Over Kill] hit to them, there is one other way to treat those. And that way is to be in a battle mode condition for a long time with the target monster or, in another word, to become [Used] to them. Also, the said battle condition can also be in the form of mock battle. Because of that, back in the game, I could usually saw people doing mock battle with tamed monster.
“Thunder god-sama, I think there would be more and more job related to slime subjugation from now on so I suggest you to conquer your fear as soon as possible”
“Kuh…… Y-you guys really! ...... How much did you want to instigate me against those slimes…… !”

The slime gives out a small whining voice like it got dejected from getting scolded. But that makes me get shocked again instead. I never know that a slime can makes out voices like that. And its voice is also quite cute.

Filianes-san’s knees are clattering, her shoulder are trembling. There is no power in her left hand which is gripping her rapier and her cold sweat is just like a dam bursting. But even while she is trembling like a fawn that is just being born, she still looks straight to my eyes….. and then, she gallantly smiles.
