“Thank you emperor.” After speaking, she raised her eyes.
Her long and thin phoenix eyes could almost steal a person’s soul.
The emperor coughed, turning away, “Please stand.”
The girl stood, her delicate posture was graceful as the Xiliang people moved the box away.
The ambassador then smiled as he walked to the centre, “Emperor, this is the first gift our country would like to present to you. I hope the emperor doesn’t dislike it.”
How could he dislike it?
If his imperial chambers had another one like her, his life would be filled with entertainment and happiness.
But of course, the emperor couldn't say this out loud.
On the surface, he remained calm as he smiled, “Xiliang country’s emperor really is considerate. How could this emperor dislike it, I am delighted.” The emperor spoke courteously, as if he was only accepting the gift because of Xiliang country.
