Chapter 129.1 - Feelings between a sister and a brother

Feng Yege slowly looked up, his handsome face slightly dimming, “She’s so smart, she definitely knows my feelings.”

“Idiot, you’re so obvious. How could she not?”

“But she knew … and she pushed me to someone else.”

This was what made him the most upset.

But after being upset, he was mostly helpless.

He knew that he could only stay by her side if she continued to pretend that she didn’t know, even if it was just as a senior brother.

But now, according to her personality, now that she’d discovered something, she’d most likely ... reject him forever.

This was what made him feel the most helpless and was the thing that he feared the most.

Li Yuan froze, “Are you sure?”

“.... En.”

Li Yuan became worried, his peach blossom eyes also helpless. “Then there’s no other way. If she’s purposely avoiding you, then …”

His eyes looked at Feng Yege deeply, “If it really doesn’t work, just give up. Isn’t it tiring, raising a child for so long just for her to become meat in someone else’s mouth? Furthermore, how are you going to tell master? He definitely won’t approve of little fox.”

Feng Yege’s expression was still carefree and lazy but his phoenix eyes were very stubborn. “Do you think that’s possible? And as for that person, he can’t do anything about what I want to do.”

Li Yuan rubbed his forehead, “Alright, then just pretend I was speaking nonsense. But, just looking at your status, your face, how could the little fox not like you? Or is it just habit, she’s already gotten used to treating you as a brother so ….”

He stopped speaking when he saw Feng Yege’s eyes narrow, rubbing his nose.

“Ha ha ha, I was just joking. How could it just be feelings between a brother and a sister?”

Why did he have a feeling that the more he tried to persuade him, the more lonelier he got?

Feng Yege looked at the slowly darkening sky for a long time.

His mouth curled up in a bitter smile, feelings between … a brother and a sister?

--- Leaning Wind Pavilion

A figure appeared soundlessly in the empty pavilion.

Their eyes swept the empty and quiet pavilion before falling on a patch of flowers that had blossomed some time ago.

They couldn’t help but head over to look at it a few more times before suddenly sensing footsteps behind them.

Just as the other party’s fists were about to hit them, they suddenly turned around and gripped them in their own hands.

When they saw the other party’s face, they let go, “It’s you.”

Lan Bai glared at the other party.

She thought it was an assassin but seeing the other party, her brows furrowed even deeper, “Why are you here?”

Thinking about their identity, she reluctantly bent her knees, “Greetings to the seventh prince.”

“En.” Xiahou Liuyun felt a bit awkward as he pinched his throat, “Where’s your master?”

“Inside her room, why?”

“This little prince has something to talk to your master about, so let me in!”

“Tell me what it is first.” She kept feeling that he was coming here with bad feelings.

If he had something to talk to her master about, he could just walk through the front door, so why did he have to be so sneaky about it?

Lan Bai’s suspicious eyes made Xiahou Liuyun feel even more frustrated, “Hey, don’t block the road. This a big palace issue, how can you, a little brat, dare to interrupt?”

“You!” Xiahou Liuyun’s contemptuous gaze made Lan Bai incredibly mad.

But thinking about how it was a big palace issue, she didn’t dare to interrupt her master’s affairs so she reluctantly stepped to the side.

Xiahou Liuyun then raised a brow, his mood improving a lot.
