Chapter 102 - "Do You Really Have Feelings for Her?" (1)
Jiang MingYuan knew that he must look very unhappy right at this moment . Gloomily, he had the chauffeur pulled over on the side of the road, got out of the car, dragged Zhou HengYuan out, closed the car door, all in one single action .
“Let’s go . ”
Zhou HengYuan sighed and slapped the car window a couple of times and symbolically ran a couple of steps before he was left behind in the exhaust from the car .
He hrmphed, straightened out his clothes that was roughed up by Jiang MingYuan, waved, and a particularly coquettish-looking bright purple sports car pulled over .
Zhou HengYuan took the car key from the driver, started the car, stepped on the gas, and the sports car shot out .
He drove very fast and caught up to the black sedan in front of him in no time . Zhou HengYuan didn’t do anything else to instigate, he just followed the car at a comfortable distance all the way to the apartment before he quickly dashed into the elevator .
Jiang MingYuan didn’t even bother looking at it but Zhou HengYuan didn’t feel awkward at all .
Grinning cheekily, Zhou HengYuan followed Jiang MingYuan into his apartment . He walked around the place first, noticing that there were no signs of others living there before he asked boldly, “Do you plan on bringing the kid back?”

Jiang MingYuan tossed his tie aside and walked inside of his room with a cold look . He changed out of his clothes that now smelled like alcohol . When he walked back out, Zhou HengYuan was stuck to the door and the two of them almost bumped into each other . Jiang MingYuan’s brows twitched before he swiftly kicked Zhou HengYuan out of his room . After the kick, he finally started talking and concisely told him about the recent development .
After hearing his good friend’s gossip, Zhou HengYuan’s curiosity was greatly satisfied . He took a peek at Jiang MingYuan’s look and didn’t say anything else to poke fun of him . Instead, he changed the subject and brought up Mother Jiang .
“Words had it that Aunty has been bringing that Chu’s daughter with her everywhere she went recently and the two of them seemed very close,” said Zhou HengYuan as he located oranges that were placed in the refrigerator by the maid . Sitting back down cross legged and peeling the oranges, he still looked like he was very interested in the drama . “Many think that your wedding will be in the near future . ”
“I do not plan on marrying her . ”
Jiang MingYuan had heard some of those rumors as well . He had already turned it down multiple times both directly and subtly but Mother Jiang just pretended those never happened . As a son, he couldn’t possibly faceslap his own mother in public; it didn’t seem like there was much he could do other than doing nothing .

“In the end, she can’t drag me to get marry without me agreeing to it . ”
“That’s funny . ” Zhou HengYuan chuckled . “She might not be able to do that, but she could send the girl onto your bed . Once you have relationship with her, you will not be able to get rid of her . ”
Zhou HengYuan and Jiang MingYuan were childhood friends and he had been watching Jiang MingYuan all along . When Jiang MingYuan was young and needed help, Gu MingLi never lifted a finger and only asked her son to bear with it . Now that he had become successful, she started playing the mom card . Zhou HengYuan had no respect for her and, therefore, didn’t filter much when he talked about her .
Jiang MingYuan frowned a little but did not rebut him . Leaning against the couch, he pinched between his brows and said, “We’ll see . ”

“What’s there to see? If you ask me, you don’t need to pay her too much attention . Just find some places overseas that she could live at and move her there . That way she won’t be able to do all these things that make you unhappy . ” Zhou HengYuan said a lot but, when he saw the disapproved look on Jiang MingYuan, he waved his hand and said, “Meh, never mind . Why do I even bother saying these to you? She’s neither my mother nor my problem . ”
“I’ll play it by the ear . ” Jiang MingYuan knew that his friend only has his best interest in mind . Nevertheless, from his perspective, some decisions couldn’t be made that easily . He lifted the corners of his mouth and changed the subject . “I’ve heard that you are working on some hot spring hotel lately?”
Seeing that his friend no longer wanted to continue the subject, Zhou HengYuan changed the subject as well . “My old man wanted me to watch over it . I don’t have much say over it…”
And the two started talking about work .
