Hardly had he spotted Wang Di and Wang Manyun when he hastened to call them from afar.
"Haha, Manyun, Wang Di! Nice to see you again!"
His loud shout raised eyebrows in the square. All disciples fixed their eyes on him.
However, Qin Shou felt rather self-satisfied; he simply disregarded their reactions.
On the contrary, Wang Di and Wang Manyun disregarded him as well.
Qin Shou put a long face. He couldn't withstand their negligence.
"Stay put!"
Qin Shou kept up forthwith and got in their way.
Wang Di and Wang Manyun both looked pretty annoyed, "How come he didn't know what an awful bore he was?"
Indeed, Qin Shou had no idea about that at all.
He had long been waiting for the opportunity to show off.
"Which senior has taken you two as official disciples?"
He raised the question on purpose. He learned that Wang Di and Wang Manyun hadn't been allocated to any senior yet.
Wang Manyun figured him out straight away. However, she didn't feel like mince words with him.

"I was taken as an official disciple by the owner of the Mount Youming," Then Qin Shou pointed at Yi Jia in the distance, looking quite complacent, "Take a look! That was Yi Jia over there, the son of my martial master. He is my big brother!"
He droned on, "I can help you to put in a good word if you wanna join the Mount Youming. Since I'm in a good mood, I'm happy to give a hand if you beg me for that."
Nevertheless, Wang Di retained his composure and silence.
Wang Manyun rolled her eyes.

Qin Shou was about to have a fit when he caught himself. He suddenly remembered a trump card he hadn't played.
"You…Well, forget about it. I'm a big figure now. There's no need to reason with you."
Then he feinted a casual manner and went on.
"Well, something just rang a bell. You might have got the pellets the other day as well, though you're still unwanted. Tell me about your martial capacity."
Even Wang Manyun didn't feel like talking nonsense with him anymore.

"I gather the top ten disciples will be entitled to the Most Refined Royal Pellets. I assume the Youming disciples will take up a big proportion there. All of them will give their pellets to me!"
Qin Shou was such a dumb-ass! Even Wang Di broke into a question in spite of himself.
"Well, how come you're so sure about yourself?"
