Trap
The guy who had a dispute with Ely during the school entrance ceremony comes to us. Behind him are three guys who are likely his followers. If I’m not wrong, this fellow’s name was Malfoy・Rodrigues, was it. He should be Earl Rodrigues family’s eldest son. He said it at the self-introduction. And then Malfoy and others who surround Ely.
“……What? I’m practising with my team now so I’m busy though?”
Ely asks and Malfoy
“I’m not gonna let you say that you’ve forgotten about it. I’m gonna pay back in full for what happened during the school entrance ceremony!”
and he draws his sword. And then he goes on to brandish it at Ely. What’s he doing!
“uu!”
It didn’t occur to Ely that he would actually slash at her so she’s late at avoiding it but she somehow blocks with Barbatos.
“What the hell are you doing!”
and Dargris also draws his sword. Rene also readies her staff.
“Aan? It’s got nothing to do with you people. I’m gonna have this woman be our toy as compensation for last time!”
and Malfoy who starts laughing. Over there
“Don’t screw with me!”
and Dargris slashes at him. Malfoy easily blocks Dargris’ sword and steps back.
“Isn’t that dangerous. Watch out, you commoner”
Malfoy who says and laughs scornfully. Maybe because he couldn’t stand that, Dargris slashes at him again. However
“uu! Wait, Dargris! That’s a trap!”
It was already too late the moment I said it. At that time, Malfoy had sheathed his sword and handed it to his followers so he’s not holding it. According to this academy’s rule, duelling is recommended but both persons must be holding a weapon or, in the case of a hand-to-hand combat specialist, it’s allowed only if they have the intention of duelling. If it’s someone who’s holding a weapon then surprise attacks are also allowed and so forth. If one slashes at a person who doesn’t have their weapon readied, it’ll be treated as the same as slashing at an unresisting person.
Just now when it was with Ely, Ely was holding a weapon so it’s allowed but this time around, Malfoy isn’t holding a weapon so slashing at him will incur punishment. And then
“Guwa!”
and Malfoy falls. Perhaps his shoulder was sliced, he’s pressing it with his hand.
“Eh? Eh?”
and it seems Dargris is confused. And then as though he was waiting there
“What is this about!”
and a male teacher enters.
“Ah, Zornnol-sensei! Please help! That guy suddenly slashed at me!”
Malfoy who says and hides in the shadow of the teacher called Zornnol. His face is making a smile filled with joy. ……Shit! We were set up!
“What! That will not do! You, I shall have this matter reported to the Headmaster. It is a disgrace to knights to slash at someone who has no intention of duelling. You better be prepared!”
Zornnol who says who leaves the training ground. Malfoy
“With this, I guess you people will be joining the team battle with three people. Kukuku. I’ll shame you in front of everybody. Woman. I’ll make you regret having opposed me! Well, if you prostate nude then maybe I’ll forgive you!”
and leaves while laughing. His followers also make vulgar smiles as they follow him.
“……Sorry. It’s because I butted in”
Dargris frustratingly mutters. He clenches his fist so hard that it’s about to bleed. Rene is looking at him worryingly.
“No. My fault. I inconvenienced you because I entered this team”
Ely says. Everybody’s mood becomes gloomy.
“……For now, let’s go to where Mary-sensei is. We need to come up with some kind of counter-measure”
I suggest and everybody nods. And then we head towards the staff room. Thereupon
“Ah! Lei-kun, and everybody else as well! Just the right time!”
and Mary-sensei comes running from the front
“Everybody, the Headmaster calls. I heard a little bit about it, Zornnol-sensei said Dargris-kun slashed Malfoy-kun……”
and Mary-sensei looks at Dargris
“……For now, let us go to where the Headmaster is”
And then we walk for a few minutes. We who finally arrived at the Headmaster Office went inside. Inside were Shishou along with Vice-Headmaster Melody, and for some reason, Alexia along with Malfoy and Zornnol-sensei.
“You’re here, Mary-sensei. You guys come inside too”
and we go inside because Sensei told us to. Malfoy and Zornnol-sensei make disgusting smiles and look over at us. Don’t look over here.
“I heard from Zornnol-sensei but, Dargris-kun. Is it true that you slashed at Malfoy-kun?”
Shishou asks Dargris. Dargris hesitatingly tells the actual story. Over there, Zornnol-sensei
“Headmaster! I think it will cause a hindrance to the academy life hereafter for something like this to happen immediately after entering school. Here, we should expel him so that students like this won’t show up hereafter. Since this time around, it was something a commoner committed”
Zornnol-sensei who gives an outrageous suggestion. This twat, I want to wallop him.
“Pl, please wait a minute, Zornnol-sensei! No matter how you put it, isn’t that too hasty! There is no harm in considering a little bit more!”
Mary-sensei who objects. However, Zornnol-sensei turns a deaf ear to her. Not only that, he objects to her objection.
“If we settle this kind of a case with a light punishment, there may be other students who will do the same too! In order to prevent that, the very first punishment is crucial!”
“However!”
and their conversation follows parallel courses. Over there, Shishou finally opens her mouth.
“That’s it. Dargris-kun’s punishment will be a week of house arrest. He can’t participate in the team battle. This will be the punishment”
Shishou says that and Zornnol-sensei shows a surprised expression.
“Wha! Headmaster, no matter how you put it, that is too light, is it not!”
“What, you have something to say about it?”
and she daunts Zornnol-sensei. Zornnol-sense is breaking into a cold sweat as well.
“This will be the end of this conversation. Zornnol-sensei and Malfoy-kun, you can go now. Lei-kun and the others, let’s talk a little more”
was what we were told, the two of them who were told to leave are glaring at us as they leave the Headmaster Office. And then after she knew that they left, Shishou suddenly bursts into laughter. What is it?
“Hahaha, you were brilliantly set up huh, Lei. It’s because you didn’t pay attention”
This Shishou. Pointing and laughing at me. I want to punch that smile. It’s impossible though. Everybody is watching and bewildered by the exchange of Shishou and I. Alexia and Vice-Headmaster Melody are sighing though.
“……Headmaster. Does it mean we are participating in the team battle with three people?”
I try asking Shishou. For now, I have to make sure. Maybe because she’s unable to stomach me calling her Headmaster and not Shishou, she’s pouting. As expected, I can’t say it in front of everybody.
“Aa, that’s how it is. It’s fine to forfeit if it’s impossible”
and she looks at me with a smirk. AhーI want to punch it.
“No, we will participate like this. I have to wallop Malfoy’s face”
I say and Shishou satisfyingly nods as well. Everybody in the team nod as well.
“Him, I’ll kill”
“I’ll drive stone bullets into that disgusting face!”
……You guys are being extremely scary though. And then Dargris too
“Sorry, everybody”
and lowers his head at us.
“I’ll punch Dargris’ share as well!”
I say that and both Ely and Rene nod. I’ll make that smirk bulging and swollen.
