School started Tue and I have been busy trying to get all my readings done T.T In this Chapter , BZH finally wakes up. The depths of the sea, Bai Zi Hua was still peacefully floating, his robe freely waving with the current. There was a halo of war light around him, as though he was lying in a giant crystal casket. Zi Xun Qian Xia looked after him, her gaze full of sorrow.
She continually transferred internal energy to him, hoping that he would quickly wake up. This was the only thing she could do now.
The more she thought, the more pathetic she found herself. Qian Gu was only a child, yet she could sacrifice so much for Zi Hua. What else had she done all these years, other than wallowing in self-pity?
She and Hua Qian Gu both loved Bai Zi Hua, but the moment she loved him, her heart could not contain anything else. The Immortal Realm, the world, nothing else mattered to her anymore. What had the birth of the Demon God have to do with her? What had the destruction of the Six Realms have to do with her? However, Qian Gu loved Bai Zi Hua, and also loved the world that he loved. She cared about him, so she cared about everything he cared about.
She had been blinded by her love and struggling in pain. However, Hua Qian Gu had never asked for any repayment and only wished him well. Compared to her, she had lived in vain all these years. Zi Xun Qian Xia realised she was only a child that did not understand what love was.
She looked on sappily at Bai Zi Hua. Actually, she wished that he would never wake up so she could look on at him like this forever. Why could Qian Gu love him so silently and selflessly, while her own love was so selfish?
Bai Zi Hua finally woke up. Zi Xun Qian Xia quickly wiped the tears at the corners of her eyes.
“Xiao Gu!” He opened his eyes and sat up. Yet the one he saw was Zi Xun Qian Xia whom he had not seen in many years.
Zi Xun Qian Xia looked at him, her lips trembling so hard she could not speak.
“Zi Xun? Why are you here…..” he felt like he had been in deep sleep for a long time and had forgotten many things.
Zi Xun Qian Xia looked at Bai Zi Hua’s cold and expressionless face and tried very hard to smile. She had fantasised countless times about about brilliantly she would smile before him. However at this moment, she simply could not smile.
Did he know how much she had gone through all these years because of him. How much that child went through because of him….. That child, was sillier than her….
“What happened? My poison…..” Bai Zi Hua exercised his internal energy and wondrously found that the poison had been completely neutralised. How could this be?
“Where is Xiao Gu? Where are the Instruments?” His ominous premonitions were increasing and his chest tightened.
“It’s too late…..” Zi Xun Qian Xia shook her head lightly.
“What…… what is too late?” Bai Zi Hua knitted his eyebrow together and screed the surface of the sea.. The sky was a demonic purple and both the sun and the moon hung palely on the sky. The seals on the 16 Instruments had been released and the power to shake the heavens and earth was being gathered and realised in the air. The waves surged and the clouds billowed. There were huge crowds gathered on the surface of the sea, helplessly observing.
Bai Zi Hua was shocked: Xiao Gu realised the seals?” He asked each word slowly. In the six realms, probably only she had the ability.
Zi Xun Qian Xia still could not read Bai Zi Hua’s emotions. Even at such a time, he was still calm.
“Yes.” She said through clenched teeth.
“Why is my poison neutralised?”
“You were poisoned by the lethal poison in Lan Yu Lan Feng’s Sheng Nong Cauldron. Luckily she had brewed an antidote. Xiao Gu came to find me and begged me to save you. Hence, we joined forces to obtain the antidote from Lan Yu Lan Feng. Thats how we neutralised your poison.” Zi Xun Qian Xia still followed what Hua Qian Gu had instructed her to say, only because they both knew too well what kind of person Bai Zi Hua was.
Bai Zi Hua’s cold pupils seemed bottomless to Zi Xun Qian Xia and she did not know whether he believed her.
“Why did she steal the Instruments of the Gods and release the Demon God?” When he found out Xiao Gu was a God, he did not reveal this to anyone. He was afraid that if the demons and monsters knew, they would use her to release the seal and he was even more afraid that when his Shi Xiong knew, he would kill her. What he did not expect is that they would still reach this step in the end.
It was all for you! Zi Xun Qian Xia really wanted to tell him that, but she could not bear to in the end: “She was a spy that Shao Qian Mo ordered to infiltrate your sect many years ago. Her aim was to find a chance to steal the Instruments.”
Bai Zi Hua swept his sleeves and turned around:” A pack of lies! When I took Xiao Gu as my disciple, do you think I wasn’t clear about her background? She and Sha Qian Mo only knew each other afterwards!”
“So you know.”
“Of course I know.” Bai ZI Hua’s gaze suddenly became as sharp as ice. How could he know these small secrets of Hua Qian Gu. Like how she would go out and meet Sha Qian Mo or often exchange letters with Dong Fang Yu Qing. Even though they were not from orthodox sects, they were not extremely evil people. If Xiao Gu had such affinity with them, as her Shi Fu, there was no need for him to interfere.
“You are really lenient towards her.” Zi Xun Qian Xia sighed lightly, “Even ignoring Chang Liu sect rules. Perhaps, they planned this slowly afterwards. Our sovereign really likes her. I think you should know this……”
“Enough!” Bai Zi Hua shouted coldly. What did she want to say? That Xiao Gu and Sha Qian Mo were having an affair?
“Where is Xiao Gu now?” he seemed to have heard her voice in his bleary state.
He could not care so much anymore. He only wanted to ask her clealry. Unless she admitted it herself, she would not believe anything anybody else said. However why was it that even with his fully restored powers, he couldn’t find her? Where had she gone?
Zi Xun Qian Xia looked down and did not say anything, only stretching out her hand to pass him the unconscious Tang Bao. Bai Zi Hua felt a sudden shock on seeing Tang Bao as he knew Xiao Gu brought it everywhere.
“Where….. is she?”
“Probably went into hiding because she was afraid you would punish her.” ZI Xun Qian Xia turned around because she did not want him to see her emotional struggle being displayed on her face.
Bai Zi Hua prepared to leave and looked at her and softly said: ‘Thank you….”
Zi Xun Qian Xia felt such heartache that her tears almost fell.
“Dont thank me…. don’t thank me…. It’s not me, it’s not…..”
“Will you go back with me?” Bai Zi Hua suddenly asked.
Zi Xun Qian Xia bitterly shook her head: “There is no going back. There is no going back forever…..” she was now even worse than a demon or monster.
Bai Zi Hua turned around to glance at her. Like a century ago, there wasn’t a single shred of warmth.
Zi Xun Qian Xia looked at his back as he flew towards the surface of the sea, leaving her further and further behind. She muttered: “Maybe if you had looked for me a hundred years ago, maybe if you had said those words to me then…. But in the end, you don’t even know why I became a fallen immortal, and you do not want to know. To you, I am not even as important as as any Chang Liu disciple. At least towards them, you have a sense of responsibility. Towards me, I am a mere passerby. Do you know that you who seem to care for all living things, is actually the most cruel immortal. Do you know that only when it concerns Hua Qian Gu, you will have slightly different emotions…. If she knew that she was just this little bit different in your heart, she would died contented…..”
Sha Qian Mo had tried countless times to enter the black hole to rescue Hua Qian Gu, but he was being repelled by a massive force. He could not figure out how she had entered.
The Instruments had been in the sky for an entire day. Everyone fromt he Immortal and Demon realms had gahered. Dong Fang had arrived, alone as usual. At last even Xuan Yuan Lang had arrived with over a thousand elite soldiers. To think that the human emperor had not only mastered immortal craft, but had specially trained an army of soldiers who were well learned in magic. They were well trained and intimidating. Even the demon and heavenly soldiers were afraid.
The Immortal Realm, the Demon and Monster Realms and the Human Realms each taking a corner around the vicinity of the Instruments. Each harboured their own thoughts but could not make any moves. All the attention had been concentrated on when the Demon God would be born.
The Demons and Monsters were of course eagerly waiting, while the Human and Immortal realm were getting more and more anxious as time passed. At this crucial moment, Bai ZI Hua was nowhere to be found. Hence the immortals could only look to Mo Yan to make a decisive decision. While the Demon God had yet to take form and completely awaken, there may be a shred of hope now. If they waited until he was fully formed, then the world would really end.
“Shi Xiong?” Sheng Xiao Mo looked at him. Mo Yan’s brows were still creased lightly tougher. Together with the scar on his face, it was even more frightening.
“I sensed Zi Hua’s presence. Wait awhile more.”
“Is Second Shi Xiong fine?” Sheng Xiao Mo asked happily. Suddenly he felt the tension reduce by half.
Xuan Yuan Lang and Dong Fang YU Qing were both shocked when they knew Hu Qian Gu had entered the black hole. However, while Xuan Yuan Lang was unclear about what happened and only knew he had to stop the Demon God from being born, Dong Fang Yu Qing knew everything. He probably realised that Bai Zi Hua’s poison had been cured and — Shuo Feng was dead.
Now that the Demon God had been born because of Gu Tou, she must feel extremely guilty. She wanted to use her own strength to reseal the demon god or perhaps perish with it.
Dong Fang Yu Qing gave a long sigh and looked at the sky. He hated his own idenity and hated that he knew so much, yet he could only be a helpless bystander. Yet, he still held on to a tiny glimmer of hope. Gu Tou had never disappointed him. He believed that it would be the same this time!
At this moment, a figure whiter than snow flew out from the sea and ascended into the sky. The wanves followed behind him, forming a thin silver pillar in the sky. Bai Zi Hua stood on the pillar of water, and looked on at the crows. His robes fluttered in the air. His serious expression made him seemed all the more lofty and unapproachable. His black hair was like a waterfall, continually caressing his beautiful otherworldly face with each gust of wind. His pupils were like frozen stars, icily sweeping across the masses. The demons and monsters could not help but fear while the immortals could not help but submit.
“Zun Shang–”
Everyone cheered. The terror and despondence seemed to have been swept away. The white robed him was like a light that had brightened the demonic purple sky.
“Shi Di, your poison?” Mo Yan, passed the message to him secretly.
“Its been cured.”
Bai Zi Hua looked at the black hole, and said: “Even though the seal has been broken and the Demon God is about to be born, the Demon God has yet to take form. Carrying such immense power, it will take at least 21 days for it to fully take form. If we join forces, even if we can’t destroy the black hole, we can greatly harm him and delay the date of his birth.”
Bai Zi Hua’s voice was not loud, yet it could be clearly heard in every corner and voices agreeing could be heard below. The Demons and Monsters were starting to panic
“All Immortals, listen to my command. Qing Tian Fei Zhen Huo (Qing Tian, means flying up to the sky, Fei means fly, Zhen Huo means true fire, so i assume its a formation with a rising pillar of fire?), Ba Gua Han Feng Lei ( Eight Triagram Wind and Thunder Formation), at the north, south, east and west, set up four Fen Xing Po Ri Formations (Star Incinerating Sun Breaking Formation).”
In an instance, swords flashed and flew in all directions. The Demons and Monsters were thrown into panic. They packed into a small circle and encircled the 16 Instruments tightly behind them while they turned to face the immortals with weapons in their hands.
Xuan Yuan Lang immediately turned pale. He knew that Bai Zi Hua was going to use force. Even if the black hole did not collaspe, it would hurt the growing body of the Demon God. This was the only method. But Hua Qian Gu was inside! What should he do! He was stuck between a rock and a hard place. He still waved his hand to protect the Instruments.
The human soldiers immediately joined ranks with the Demons and Monsters and surrounded the Instruments tightly.
Mo Yan unhappily asked: “Majesty Xuan Yuan, why are you doing this? Unless you came here to help the Demon God be born? You should know if the Demon God runs rampant, the first to suffer is the human realm!”
The soldiers looked at Xuan Yuan Lang puzzledly, not knowing what he was thinking.
Xuan Yuan Lang’s heart was in a mess. He looked worriedly at Bai ZI Hua: “Zun Shang, Qian Gu is still inside!”
Bai Zi Hua’s faced changed slightly and he looked at Sheng Xiao Mo and Mo Yan. Mo Yan coldly snorted while Sheng Xiao Mo creased his eyebrows and lightly nodded.
Bai Zi Hua coldly answered before he considering anything: “So what. Wasn’t the Demon God released by him? Even if she dies a thousand or ten thousands times, it will not make up for her sins.” with that he waved his ar.
“You dare!” Sha Qian Mo’s eyes were glaringly red and savage. He blocked Bai Zi Hua and drew his sword, his murderous intent at the maximum. His wild hair continually caressed his spectacular visage. Everyone present could not help but be distracted.
Bai Zi Hua thought of what Zi Xun Qian Xia had said earlier and thought of how he had seen Hua Qian Gu act intimately with him. Even though he did not believe it, he did not know why he felt angry.
“See if I dare.” Bai Zi Hua coldly answered. The Heng Shuang Sword was unsheathed. Both of them would clash with the tiniest spark.
