Sheng Xiao Mo twirled his silver Xiao between his fingers,, and lazily pushed open the door. The moment he entered, he sat on the chair and started sipping tea, not even bothering to look at Bai Zi Hua who was meditating on the bed.
“Are you hurt?” Even though Bai Zi Hua had hid it well, he could not avoid showing some signs when he went to save Ni Man Tian. Even if others did not detect it, how could Sheng Xiao Mo be kept in the dark?
Bai Zi Hua nodded his head: “Don’t tell Shi Xiong first.”
“It’s nothing serious right?”
Bai Zi Hua did not speak. Sheng Xiao Mo creased his eyebrows.
“What injury?”
“Poison from the Shen Nong Cauldron.”
Sheng Xiao Mo gave a light sigh: “Settle your responsibilities as sect leader as soon as possible. If you have any last words, you can tell me when the time comes.”
After saying that, he got up to leave. On his face, there wasn’t a single trace of sadness or worry.
When he finally stepped out of the door to leave Bai Zi Hua finally asked, in a seeming casual way: “Where did you place Xiao Gu?”
The corners of Sheng Xiao Mo’s mouth curled into a small sadistic smile and sniggered:” I was scared that if she continued kowtowing, her blood would flood the entire Jue Qing Dian. It didn’t matter if she died, but it would be a sin to destroy all those rare flora and fauna. So, I dragged her into the ice chamber. Her blood will stop flowing once its frozen. Besides, I thought that I would get her out of your sight so that she won’t annoy you anymore.”
Bai Zi Hua’s fingers trembled slightly, but he did not say anything.
Sheng Xiao Mo turned around and looked at him: “Shi Fu always said that among the three disciples, you had the most strict principles even though you look the most laid-back. Looks like he was spot on.”
He walked a few steps and turned around as though he suddenly thought of something/ “But I don’t believe that you really are so impartial. If you really think that Hua Qian Gu is such a person, you can always hand her to Da Shi Xiong and let him handle this according to the rules. Attempting to kill a fellow disciple is a capital offence. I know that you can’t bear to given that you spend everyday with her and she is your only disciple. If you find it hard. I can always help you hand her to Shi Xiong?”
“You don’t need to worry over my matters.” Bai Zi Hua coldly retorted.
Sheng Xiao Mo shrugged his shoulders and walked off, his eyes twinkling with amusement.
The moment Sheng Xiao Mo left Jue Qing Dian, Bai Zi Hua rushed to the ice chamber.
The rainwater and blood on Hua Qian Gu was completely frozen. She was deathly pale and she was so cold that her lips had turned blue. She lay on the ground weakly.
Bai Zi Hua was very angry. This Sheng Xiao Mo. All these years, he was always following behind him and creating trouble, making child’s play of everything.
He softly lifted her in move and transferred his internal energy endlessly into her body as he walked outside. The blood had frozen in the ice room had started flowing out again. Bai Zi Hua swiftly sealed her acupoints to stop the bleeding. He then lifted her back on the pallet. There was no hesitation as he ripped open her clothes to bandage the wounds on her abdomen and forehead. He did not lift his head to look at her face because he did not like the faint ache he felt in his heart.
In the first place he had no desires or emotions. Furthermore Hua Qian Gu’s child like body had not developed at all. Hence, he did not try to maintain a distance between them. Furthermore, there was nobody else on this Jue Qing Dian who could help. He turned his head around as he swiftly helped her change out of her wet clothes.
He felt a burning hunger arise in his chest. The air was filled with the bloody fragrance that tempted his poisoned body. His entire body raged with the desire for her blood.
If he started drinking her blood to prolong his life, over time, he had become hooked. Every time he saw her, he could only desperately suppress the desire to drink her blood. This kind of desire was so foreign to him. In his confusion and helplessness, he could only try his best to avoid her. Yet, she kept serving him on a silver platter, making it difficult to resist even if he wanted to.
“Shi Fu, I was wrong…” the person on the pallet close her eyes. She was in such agony that she creased her eyebrows and muttered in her sleep, her pale face covered in cold sweat. Her body so cold that it kept suffering.
Bai Zi Hua gave a soft sigh and embraced her, transferring even more internal energy into her body.
After all these years of living together, how could he not understand this child. Yet it was precisely because he had such high hopes of her, that it made it difficult for him to accept it. The deeper the love, the heavier the responsibility.
The poison had caused both his self-control to weaken. At that moment, he was really so angry that he lost control and slapped her.

By the time Hua Qian Gu woke up, many hours had passed. Bai Zi Hua had simply held her in his bosom while sorting out all this complicated thoughts.

“Why did you use so much force during the competition. The skills that I taught you are not meant to murder!” He only hoped that in the future, she could protect herself better when she did not have him to direct her.
The moment heard that Shi Fu was willing to hear her explain, she knew that he was not so angry with er anymore. However, how could she let him know the true reason.
“Sorry, Shi Fu. Your disciple was just to eager to win…. Your disciple knows she is wrong and will never do it again. Please forgive me….”
Bai Zi Hua looked at her sternly: “Do you think your Shi Fu is blind? How could i not tell that you kept giving way since the start of the duel? However why did you suddenly decide to kill her? Explain to me what was happening!”
“I,I……” Hua Qian Gu felt cold sweat all over her back.
“Your disciple was wrong. I was muddle-headed. Please punish me. Just don’t ignore me!”
Bai Zi Hua was not angry at her for wanting to kill but rather her refusal to trust him and tell him the truth.
“All these years, you couldnt even bear to kill a chicken when cooking. You would kill your fellow disciple to win a competition?”
“Shi Fu……” Hua Qian Gu knelt on the pallet before him. He could punish her any way he liked, but she say anything. If Shi Fu knew the truth, it would really be the end for her.
“You…” Bai Zi Hua lost his temper as he looked at Hua Qian Gu, who had always been obedient and never defied him. The poison rushed through his body and he stumbled. Hua Qian Gu quickly supported him.
“Shi Fu, your poison!” Hua Qian Gu quickly rolled up her sleeve. Bai Zi Hua pushed her away. She had already lost too much blood. As he turned to leave, Hua Qian Gu hugged him around the waist to stop him.
“Shi Fu, your disciple begs you. Even if you are angry, suppress the poison first. Later you can punish me anyway you want!”
Bai Zi Hua could not break free. He only felt his head become heavier and heavier and he could only see a blood red.
Blood, he only wanted blood…
He turned to look at Hua Qian Gu, his eyes suddenly turning jet black like two dark empty pits.
Hua Qian Gu shuddered, goosebumps rising over her skin. The person in front of her was no longer the person she spent everyday with. He was a complete stranger. She released her hand and wanted to retreat.
However before she could make any movement, she felt her body rise and fly towards Bai Zi Hua.
“Shi Fu!” Hua Qian Gu barely gasped before she felt Bai Zi Hua bite her left neck. She was so shocked she could not make a single sound. The shock as as though someone had downed a basin of ice water on her.
It felt as though the entire world had passed….
Hua Qian Gu lifted her head and weakly breathed. It felt as though the air around her had been taken away with her blood. It was as though her soft and weak body was entirely grasped in Bai Zi Hua’s palm. Like a blade of grass, it could be broken with a light fold.
The Shen Nong Cauldron’s poison was incurable. Even immortals would turn to stone and then disintegrate. Yet Bai Zi Hua had held on for more than two years using his powers and Hua Qian Gu’s blood. He had just saved Nii Man Tian and then transferred his internal energy to Hua Qian Gu, hence the poison was now attacking his body more mercilessly. He had completely lost his consciousness.
The fragrance of her blood had permeated her fair translucent skin making the pulmonary artery seem even thicker and her blood even more delicious and tempting. Her tender paper thin skin was so easily punctured by his teeth. With just a little more force he sunk his teeth into her veins. He felt the blood through the gaps in his teeth, sweet and pungent, it was better than any wine in this world.
Hua Qian Gu felt his breath against her ear. His face was pressed against hers as his lips and teeth sucked against her neck. Amidst the pain, there was unimaginable pleasure. All the strength in her body had sapped away, and she could not struggle at all. What was even more unimaginable was that the person who was prssed against he neck like her lover was her Shi Fu.
Her very soul was fighting as this numb pleasure erupted form the depths of her hr heart, seizing every inch of her body. Event he tips of her hairs were trembling.
Hua Qian Gu bit down on her lip to prevent her self from making weird cries or moans. However, this feeling kept emanating out of her body like the flow of her blood. She could no longer see anything, feeling only the burning temperature on her Shi Fu’s usually cold body.
She hoped that Shi Fu, as usual, would be able to stop quickly. However Bai Zi Hua seemed to be addicted and refused to let go of her, as though he was about to drink all the blood in her body.
Hua Qian Gu was feeling head felt heavier and heavier form the lost of blood. If this was her punishment, she was willing to accept it. She felt her vision getting hazier and hazier. Her hand slowly slid down Bai Zi Hua’ back as she lost consciousness.
When she finally woke up she was still in her own room. Her entire body was limp and weak. She thought that all that had happened was just a dream. However when she looked into the mirror, there were two new teeth marks. Around the bite, there was a light red bruise, like a love bite.
There was a bowl of medicine on the table. It looked like Shi Fu and cooked it himself.
Her external injuries were almost fully healed. It looks like she had slept for three to four days. Shi Fu must also have used a lot of precious herbs and expended a lot of internal energy to heal her. Though possessing an immortal’s body allowed her meant she did not age, she was still prone to injury.
“Shi Fu…” she muttered. All these years, other than that smile at the Immortal’s Banquet, she did not see Shi Fu show any expression. Even when she made a mistake or they met with danger, her Shi Fu was always calm. His cold visage was unassailable. However, for him to hit her, it could only show angry and disappointed he was with her.
The heart ached and she felt so wronged that she wanted to cry. She really did not want to lie to him or hurt anybody. She merely did not want anybody to know her secret.
Now, she had lost the chance to kill Ni Man Tian. When they were in the barrier, nobody around could see what was happening. Shi Fu who had lived with her all these years must have stepped in because he felt her murderous intent.
It was no even more impossible to kill Ni Man Tian. With Chang Liu Mountains tight security, how is it possible to kill someone without anybody suspecting or discovering something. As long as Ni Man Tian was around, even if she got the handkerchief back from her, as long as she said something, whether anybody believed it, she would be finished once Shi Fu heard of it.
What should she do? What should she do?! Was there really no solution? She desperately told herself to clam down. Even if Shi Fu think she was immoral, to kill her own fellow disciple, she would rather die than let Ni Man Tian reveal this matter. At most, she would kill herself with Ni Man Tian!
Hua Qian Gu stood up unsteadily. She pushed opened the door to go out. She wondered how Shi Fu’s poison was. He must feel terrible on finding out that he was now completely controlled by her blood? This was not his fault but hers! As long as she could neutralise the poison in his body, even if she had to cook herself, she was willing.
The midday sun shone in, so piercing that Hua Qian Gu could not open her eyes. She stumbled over almost falling head first. Suddenly, she was caught by a strong pair of arms.
When she lifted her head, she saw Dong Fang Yu Qing, with Tang Bao lying on his shoulder. 抬
In that moment, all the helplessness, sadness and grievances erupted and she buried her head in his bosom.
Dong Fang Yu Qing creased his eyebrows and his heart tighten as he looked at her pale, bloodless face and her tired sunken eyes. He gave a light sigh and hugged her tight.
“Gu Tou Ma Ma, we are back……” Tang Bao snuggled against her face. "
HUa Qian Gu forced out a smile. She was so agitated that her hands were trembling: “Where did you go? thought you did not want me anymore.”
Tang Bao kissed her face relentlessly: “I went to find Papa to find a way to treat Zun Shang.”
“Did you find it?” Hua Qian Gu agitatedly looked at Dong Fang Yu Qing.
Dong Fang Yu Qing did not answer for half a day and only kneeled down, gently caressing her small face asking: “Why did you lose so much weight?”
Hua Qian Gu’s nose stung. She held on to Dong Fang Yu Qing’s hand and felt warmth and trust. Finally could not help but admit: “My hankerchief was taken by Ni Man Tian. She threatened me. So I tired to kill her during the Immortal Sword’s Meet. But Shi Fu found out……”
“What hankerchief? What happened that you would be threatened by her so badly that you would want her dead.” Dong Fang Yu Qing looked at her, his sharp gaze seemed to already hold the answer.
“Because, Because she knows a secret of mine……” Hua Qian Gu looked down not daring to look at her.
Dong Fang Yu Qing squinted his eyes and let out a sound that sounded like a laugh: “What secret? With me, nothing is a secret.”
Hua Qian Gu felt a shock go through her body. She widened her eyes and looked up at him. Suddenly Dong Fang Yu Qing seemed both very foreign yet familiar.
“If you cannot solve this matter, I can help you.” He slowly opened his mouth, his voice seemed magically gentle and intriguing.
Hua Qian Gu slowly let go of his hands an stepped back, her expression calming down. She gave a bitter laugh.
“Alright, state your price. Whatever you want, as long as it is within my power, I will give it to you.”
Dong Fang Yu Qing laughed, his smile as warm as spring.
“When did you know?” "
Hua Qian Gu shook her head: “At Tai Bai Mountain I thought I sensed something, however i did not dare to believe it. After that when Shi Fu was poisoned, and Tang Bao found people from Yi Xiu Ge to save us, it confirmed my suspicions.”
Dong Fang Yu Qing stared at her deeply, eye to eye: “You are not afraid of me?”
Hua Qian Gu gave a bitter laugh: “Why would I be afraid of you? You have helped and save me time and time again and are so good to me.”
Dong Fang Yu Qing gave a meaningful smile: “You are always so smart and sharp. However, once you meet anything that has to do with Bai ZI Hua, you will be thrown in a total mass.”
