The small battlefield did have a strange terrain. As a matter of fact, this world was not small. Lu Li and the team had been traveling for two days without running into any alien races.
There were rarely any plains here. Mountains and valleys dotted the world, making the land fragmented and dense with forests. This world had no lack of rocks and canons. Given that the gravity was strong, nobody chose to fly. They travelled on feet.
The specific land condition rendered large combat groups ineffective, unless warriors stood in a long line. But that would make them too obvious a target and those at the front wouldn't be able to help out those at the back and vice versa. That kind of formation would only lead to more harm than benefit.
After two days' of travelling, Lu Li exclaimed to himself that the route Jiang Tianshun directed was quite good. They would find places to hide easily and spot their enemies if they were really close to the gathering place of the Barbarian Race.
According to Jiang Qiling, the barbarians were larger in size than the Mammoth Race or the Titan Race. If so, wouldn't the barbarians shake the ground when walking and be found from afar?
The way Lu Li and the team was treading on was surrounded by woods and dotted with caves. It would be easy for them to flee. How could giants like barbarians chase into the caves?

Jiang Qiling felt nervous as she never engaged in many real-life battles. She looked to Lu Li and saw calmness in his eyes. Somehow, she felt reassured.
"Bang, bang, bang!"
The six barbarians were close. Finally, people could have a good look at them. After a few glances, Lu Li was sure that the Barbarian Race was not related to the Titan Race or the Mammoth Race.
The Barbarian Race had a height of nearly 50 feet, much taller than the Titan Race or the Mammoth Race. Barbarians had two black horns on their heads and their skins were brown. They had broad chests and back, their muscles filled with strength. They had a copper hammer in their left hand and dragged a cold iron chain with their right.
The most distinguishable feature of the Barbarian Race was the white hair on their chest. Their noses were big as well. Looking from the distance, they could be mistaken as people with heads of bulls. In their bell-like eyes there were glares of red, making them seem like messengers walking out from the region beyond the grave.
The distance shortened from 3000 feet, more than 2000 feet and then 1500 feet!
The leader of the barbarians suddenly glanced over to the mountain Lu Li and the others were hiding at. Their eyes turned blood-red, mesmerizing like two blood moons.
"Woo—"
The barbarians roared. People felt their eardrums being pierced and in pain. Before they could recover, the six barbarians rushed over. The ones at the front tied the chains on the copper hammers and swung them like a chain bola in the sky, smashing toward the mountain.
"My lady, please go back. Let us give it a try first."
A glint of killing intent appeared in Jiang Hu's eyes. His Bead of Life enlarged and he hopped on. Taking out a saber, he shouted, "Someone go with me to fight, and Qin Yu-er, go and protect Lady Qi and retreat."
Jiang Qiling was already nervous so she didn't refuse this arrangement. She retreated with the other three young ladies. She kept her eyes locked in front, planning to have Jiang Hu and others feel the barbarians out before she made a move.
"Lu Li, where are you going?"
Lu Li was sneaking out to another direction. Jiang Qiling noticed and asked. Lu Li looked back at her and said, "Don't worry. I am fast. These barbarians cannot hurt me. Protect yourself."
Jiang Qiling remembered how fast Lu Li was so she put her mind at ease. As soon as she and the other three young ladies climbed down the mountain, a hammer hit against it. The mountain collapsed, rubbles and dusts went flying around. The cave in the mountain was appalling to the sight.
"Buzzing~"
Jiang Qiling and the other young ladies were acting with caution. They released their Beads of Life and flew close to the ground, even though they could not fly up high. Walking without relying on Beads of Life would be too slow.
"Swish~boom, boom, boom!"
The sounds of hammers whooshing in the air rose as another fell. The six barbarians all made a move. They swung their hammers, trying to smash Jiang Hu and the others to death.
Jiang Hu and the others were all young masters from major families. Jiang Hu was a grandson of a patriarch at the Jiang Family. Jiang Wuwo had sent those in to protect Jiang Qiling because they were not good-for-nothings. They had endured and survived real battles and they were talented warriors with abilities.
The eight of them didn't take any ill-considered actions. They flew around the barbarians, kept their distances and kept attacking the barbarians with Xuan Energy. They coordinated their actions and reacted fast. When one was in danger, the others would come to rescue soon.
Jiang Hu and the others were trying to find out the barbarian's strength. The six barbarians whooshed their hammers, smashing away the trees and hills but they didn't show any other skills or techniques. Clearly, they were feeling Jiang Hu out as well. Neither side resorted to their strongest skill.
"Their defense is so strong!"
Lu Li lurked in a valley without releasing his Fate Wheel. He could see that many Xuan Energy hit on the barbarians and made almost zero effect, like a drip of water hitting a stone. The barbarians merely wobbled a bit. Lu Li was amazed at this.
The barbarians knew Lu Li was present. But he was so weak and Jiang Hu and the others were constantly attacking, so the barbarians didn't mind Lu Li.
The to-and-fro feeling out went on for more than 10 rounds before the two sides resorted to their real power. They were both afraid that the other side would have reinforcement so they wanted to finish soon.
With a glow from Jiang Hu's neck, butterflies flew out and covered up the space. It was at night so the butterflies were hardly distinguishable. There was only a dark glare before countless butterflies got into the barbarians' bodies.

Jiang Hu was also a disciple of the Jiang Family and was born in the immediate family as well, though he was not as distinguished as Jiang Qiling. He awoken the Soulfeast Bloodline at a young age as well. He wished to end the fight soon with his Bloodline Skill in case more alien races would be attracted by the fight here.
"Eh? Those barbarians are so weak?"
As soon as the Soulfeast Butterflies were in their bodies, the barbarians became immobilized. They closed their eyes and stood on the spot as if they had lost their soul to the Soulfeast Butterflies.
"This is good!"
Jiang Hu was overjoyed. Waving his hand, he said, "Move and kill those barbarians."
The rest cheered up as well. They rushed over on their Beads of Life. Instead of releasing Xuan Energy, they used their weapons to attack. Xuan Energy could hurt their enemies but the power would be weakened.

In the valley, Lu Li shouted. A four-layered Fate Wheel appeared and he began to fly close to the ground as he yelled, "Fall back. The barbarians are deceiving you."
