Emperor Shixi left the alley but remained hidden in the vicinity for a while, as he wanted to verify an important matter.

Rong Xuan had just finished receiving a phone call. He felt confused, but still got up and knocked on the door of the president’s office.
Yan Xuyao heard the knock and said, “Come in!”
Rong Xuan went in and closed the door smoothly, “Boss, I just received a call from Xiao Tu.”
Yan Xuyao looked up. He had ordered Xiao Tu to follow Yan Nuo. But now that Xiao Tu had called, could Yan Nuo have done something? He put his pen down and motioned Rong Xuan to continue.
“Xiao Tu said that Mr. Yan passed the audition today. After that, he went with the Du Family’s little lord to visit the mall. Later on, Xiao Tu lost sight of them due to human traffic. “You, go out first.” Yan Xuyao waved his hand.
After Rong Xuan left, Yan Xuyao looked at the sky outside his luxurious floor-to-ceiling window. The downpour was subsiding already, but the color of the sky remained a bit grey. He pondered for a while, picked up his phone and began dialing.

Emperor Shixi’s thoughts were interrupted by his ringing phone. He picked up his phone and saw an incoming call from Yan Xuyao, “What happened?”
“Your audition should be over by now,” Yan Xuyao said as he glanced at the take-out box on his desk. He checked the time on his watch and casually asked, “Have you eaten?”
“Yes, the auditions are done.” Emperor Shixi replied. He knew that one of the men that had been following them for a while was one of Yan Xuyao’s people.
“Come and eat with me, okay?” Yan Xuyao closed a document and pinched the bridge of his nose.
“En!” Emperor Shixi touched his stomach, he hadn’t eaten since. He had accompanied Du Qing to eat a few cups of ice cream, and it was delicious, but it hadn’t made him feel full. He had even been forced to move, so he was really hungry.
“Where are you? I’ll ask the driver to pick you up.”
“In… Wenhui Road.” Emperor Shixi looked around for signs, and then informed him casually.
“Wait there!” Yan Xuyao said, and then he hung up. He dialed Xiao Tu and told him where Yan Nuo’s location. He then called the driver to go pick Yan Nuo up. He warned the driver repeatedly to ensure that he brings Yan Nuo directly to the Yan Building. When he had finished his phone calls, he continued reading the documents on his desk.
When the driver arrived at Wenhui Road, Emperor Shixi was leaning against a wall, attracting the gazes of bystanders. He contemplated in silence and paid no mind to all the attention he was attracting, as he had become accustomed to being stared at. The passers-by kept staring at him, and some deliberately back down his side of the road, just to get another glimpse. Especially women, who drooled while ogling at him. Sadly, Emperor Shixi’s body exuded a dangerous aura, warning off those who wanted to disturb him. So, those women didn’t dare take a step forward.
“Mr. Yan,” The driver called out. The first person he had seen in Wenhui Road was Emperor Shixi. Most people that frequented the road were locals, making Emperor Shixi too eye-catching. “The boss asked me to pick you up!”
Emperor Shixi saw that this driver was the same one he met that morning, he nodded and got into the car. “Let’s go.”
Soon after, the driver stopped the car in front of a tall building. “Mr. Yan, we have arrived. The boss is on the 52nd floor.”
“Good! Thank you.” Emperor Shixi got out of the car and looked at the magnificently large building. He might have seen a lot of high-rise buildings recently, but this Yan Building really shocks people ah.
Emperor Shixi walked in the direction the driver pointed at and reached the front desk. A woman stepped forward to welcome him, “Hello, who are you looking for?” she asked with a flowery smile. Your mom! Who is this beautiful man ah? She wanted to scream but had to restrain herself when she remembered that she was still at her place of work.
“I’m looking for Yan Xuyao.” Emperor Shixi glanced at her. Are the women of this world this “generous”?
“Please wait!” The woman working the front desk had been so stunned, she forgot to ask if he had an appointment. She picked up the phone and called the secretary of the chairman’s room extension. “Hello, Assistant Rong, there’s someone on the first floor…” The woman then remembered that she had forgotten to ask the person’s name. She covered the microphone and whispered softly to Emperor Shixi, “What’s your name, sir?”
“Yan!” Emperor Shixi’s eyes were on the phone. ‘Is that also used for communication? Really amazing’.
“Assistant Rong, there is a Mr. Yan looking for the chairman here, can he go up?” The woman asked politely while roaring in her mind, Yan ah! Surname Yan? Who is this? What’s his relationship with the chairman? She blinked her gossipy eyes at Yan Nuom showing her sincerity and hoping to fish some information, but unfortunately, they weren’t on the same page.
She immediately hung up the phone, “Mr. Yan, please wait a minute. Assistant Rong will pick you up right away!”
“En!” Having been informed that he had to wait awhile, Emperor Shixi decided to look around the Yan Building. It was now past 2 in the afternoon, people seemed to be walking in and out of a wall. ‘Huh, what are they doing’? Puzzled, Emperor Shixi suddenly noticed that the wall divided into two halves and people stood in the space between, this startled him. ‘Don’t tell me this is a mechanism of Tang Sect’? Emperor Shixi approached the elevator doors and stared at it. He ignored the people there and touched it, he even wanted to tear off the ‘wall’ to study it. There were just too many things to research in this world! People stopped and watched as the handsome guy incessantly felt the elevator with his hand. They were all confused, Is something wrong with him’? After constantly touching it, don’t tell us that it will drop? Was this person here to repair the elevator? The look on the face of the lady at the front desk turned vulgar as she watched Mr. Yan observe the elevator. ‘Must he be this hot ah’?
