The young Demon Hunter of course would not allow them to use their power easily—a close collaboration of multiple Apostles was powerful enough to take down most enemy. Ye Qi wasn't in the mood to be surrounded by the various elemental powers of the Apostles.

"Vampire's Touch!"

A blindingly sanguine light appeared out of Ye Qi's eyes. Even though it was there only for a second, it still managed to make the Apostle closest to the young Demon Hunter shiver. Ye Qi naturally wouldn't give up on this opportunity—the 10 by 10 arena was small for the young Demon Hunter with 16 agility. With a leap, he reached his target's side and Ye Qi aimed a punch at his opponent's lower jaw.

The sound of bone breaking reverberated through the arena as his punch made contact with the Apostle's face. Ye Qi's victim was knocked out with one punch and collapsed backwards.

"Burning Hands!"

Ye Qi activated his power and flames crawled through the stage. The stage was too small for his opponents to find any blind spots. Facing the flames that quickly covered about half of the stage, two of the more agile Apostles jumped off the stage—after all, not everyone was able to withstand the burning flames.

However, they had done their part—a faded blue shield covered the whole stage and a chilling wind evaporated the flames instantly. When Ye Qi looked down, he realized the short sword in his hand was covered with rust like it had been left in the elements for thousands of years.

"I admit you are quite powerful!" Glados stood across from Ye Qi and his gaze glowed with arrogance, "But rookie is still a rookie! Without the year of training, how would you have known about the importance of complementary powers? We're in a Seal of Ice, the perfect counter to your fire control power! Furthermore, your weapon has been corroded by rust so your close-quarter combat is made invalid as well! Plus, here's a free lesson for you, always be careful of traps, especially one like paralysis! Now, I wonder how many hits from my copper pole you'll be able to suffer before you beg me for mercy! Hahahaha…"

Following Glados' laugh, the arena noticed an Apostle from Glados' batch had his hands pointed at Ye Qi and there was an eerie purple glow shining around them.

"Shameless!" Darien wanted to rush on stage to help Ye Qi but was pulled back by Tatum, "Wait! Calm down! Ye, hasn't lost yet!"

Even though the lanky fella sounded confident in tone, internally, he didn't believe the young Demon Hunter who was incapacitated on so many fronts could still win this…

The eyes of the group of new Apostles darkened, they understood how badly this was looking for Ye Qi…

Titan paid special attention to the stage because he was ready to end this match before any real harm would come to Ye Qi…

Glados who was confident in his win took slow deliberate steps towards Ye Qi.

When he got close enough, he heard a question come out of the young Demon Hunter's mouth, "Do you know how much this sword mean to me?"

Due to the effect of paralysis, Ye Qi's voice was unclear in certain places but was clear enough to be heard by everyone in the arena.

"Who cares about that?" Glados glanced at the loser and spat condescendingly, "After all, I am the victor!"

A rage that Ye Qi had not experienced before surged through his body. The young Demon Hunter's eyes were red with anger. Fury and the intention to kill coursed through every cell in his body.

"Rage!"

The power of the spell ignited the fury that was percolating in the young Demon Hunter's heart. They manifested as an unstoppable bloodlust! The Physic Immunity provided by the spell broke Ye Qi out of the control of paralysis!

"F*ck the victor!"

Ye Qi roared angrily and grabbed the wholly unprepared Glados who was inches away from him and slammed him headfirst onto the stage floor!

"That is a prized memento given to me by John! GO TO HELL!"

Ye Qi grabbed his opponent's arm and twisted it before executing yet another body slam. Ye Qi then proceeded to slam Glados' broken body all over the stage like a rag doll.

The sound of bones breaking and wails for help sounded throughout the arena.

The people in the crowd could barely catch up to what was happening. When the giant called for the match to stop, Glados that had being flailed around by Ye Qi had half of the bones in his body broken already. However, even though Ye Qi had heard Titan's order for him to stop, he didn't—f*ck the rules! F*ck the arena! F*ck everything!

Hauling the broken heap that was Glados up from the floor, Ye Qi raised him up with one hand and threw him up into the sky.

"Fireball!"

The explosive fireball formed a red meteor heading towards Glados who was falling from the sky. Titan who was moving to stop Ye Qi quickly retracted his hands when he realized this was not a simple fireball. The memory of the fireball at the Grand Hall from the week earlier was still fresh in the giant's mind. Titan might have a resilient body but it was not resilient enough for him to be able to stop a raging explosive fireball with his bare hands.

The fireball rammed into Glados' body in mid-air. Burnt pieces of the man's body parts fell down from the sky following a giant explosion.

"Completion of C+ Quest: Provocation from the Seniors. Reward: 5000 experience…"

Following the explosion, the arena was as quiet as a graveyard. Several minutes later, the group of new Apostles cheered and erupted in thunderous applause.

"He won!"

"Wonderful job, Ye!"

They all rushed on stage to congratulate Ye Qi. They carried him and threw him into the air, each time accompanied by a cheer. While this was happening, the giant scratched his head with a worried frown on his face. "What to do, what to do? Ye has caused great trouble again!"

Titan was not good at dealing with such politics so the first thought that came into his mind was to find someone who do—Noah!

When the cold-faced man arrived at the arena, the wounded and the dead had already been taken away…

"Leave this to me!" He whispered to console his giant friend before turning to face the young Demon Hunter who was surrounded by his group of Apostle friends. Noah asked coldly, "Do you miss Tower of Thorns that much?"

"Sir, this has nothing to do with Ye!" A Wa who had woken up, struggled up to a standing position to defend the young Demon Hunter despite the wounds over his body, "Ye did all these because he wanted to help me! I'm the source of the conflict, if someone needs to be sent to the Tower of Thorns, it should be me…"

"I will report everything honestly to the headquarters and before that, all of you wait here quietly!" Noah interrupted A Wa and repeated to stress, "The headquarters will make the decision! They are the only one who has the right to do so!"
