However, when Lin Jie thought of the number of gold coins he had to spend on renting the massive transport vehicles, he felt this was not worth it .
Within the midst of all the crystal pieces, a few different-colored gems sparkled brightly .

As soon as the key touched the door, a great Space spiral appeared and sucked Lin Jie into it! When he next opened his eyes, he found himself standing outside the Cave of Crystals—the external cave which was normally filled with gushing lava!
What’s worst, he felt heat emanating from his back—the lava had exploded!
“Wth!” Lin Jie ran towards the cave’s entrance . Outside the cave, the clear blue skies greeted him… with the Red Lizard which had opened its mouth wide, waiting to be fed!
The Red Lizard had widened its mouth like usual and was waiting for the lava to flow into its mouth in a bored manner . However, it did not expect that a Warrior donned in metal armor would rush towards it, following which this Warrior’s Broken Blade cut off almost half of its tongue! The Red Lizard hurriedly closed its mouth in pain, and Lin Jie made use of this opportunity to run out of the cave!
At this moment, the lava arrived!
The gushing lava smacked right into the Red Lizard and threw its crimson body to a side . The Red Lizard tried to regain balance again, and anger flashed past its eyes . However, the most important thing to it now was to feast on the lava… It opened its mouth and began to gulp down the gushing lava . When it finished drinking and decided to start hunting that reckless human being, it discovered that he had already run too far away . It stared at Lin Jie’s retreating figure and roared furiously, but a question popped up in its mind: why did this human being crawled inside the cave again?
When Lin Jie was running out of the cave, he had suddenly thought of an idea . As such, though he had already left the cave safely, he went back inside the cave again while the Red Lizard lapped up the lava!
‘That Magic Stone! Doesn’t that Magic Stone have some chances of blocking Magic? Perhaps this is the most important tool in opening the door!’
It would be good to try out his theory anyway . After all, according to Lin Jie’s understanding of the game, the system would not give the players an item that had negative effects on such an important hidden map! That Magic Stone must have some other uses!
Lin Jie got inside the Cave of Crystals and stomped hard to break the ground . He entered the Crystals Ruins and stood in front of the magical door again .
This time round, he held the stone in his hand and calmed himself down as he stepped forward to the door slowly… A peculiar Mana wave surrounded his fingertips—his deductions were correct!
After all, this was a hidden map—thus, it made sense that one of the tools to open the door would be hidden on the Crystal Giant’s neck, while the other one was hidden within its buttocks . The process of gathering these tools would, of course, be of extreme difficulty! However, great trials came with great rewards—this made Lin Jie extra curious as to what could be hidden behind the door .
Lin Jie drew in a sharp breath, and muttered excitedly, “The hidden secret, reveal yourse——WTF!”
Just when the Magic Stone was about to eliminate the magic array in front of the door, Lin Jie got dizzy . When he could finally make sense of his surroundings, he discovered that he was standing at the lava cave’s entrance again!

The gushing lava rushed to before his eyes! Lin Jie screamed and ran like a maniac towards the cave’s entrance . The remaining half of the Red Lizard’s tongue entered his sight again . Lin Jie slashed out with Broken Blade and yelled, “Scram!”
The poor Red Lizard—its entire tongue was cut off by Lin Jie! It closed its mouth in pain and was thrown out by the rushing lava again!
“Chance, it must be due to chance!” Lin Jie regained himself as he recalled that the Magic Stone would only have a 10% chance of resisting any magic . This meant that there would be a 10% chance of him opening the door!
He must persevere!
While Lin Jie was urging himself on mentally, the Red Lizard finally decided it couldn’t stand this human being anymore . The first time he came, this human tripped it; the second time he came, he cut off half of its tongue; the third time he came, he cut off its entire tongue! Who—or what creature could stand this treatment! It gave up on feasting on the lava and charged straight at Lin Jie!
However, the tongue-less Red Lizard had also lost its best long-ranged weapon . Lin Jie was unafraid of it anymore . Instead, he stepped onto its head, and using the great reaction force that was produced, Lin Jie sprinted towards the interior of the lava cave!
For the following nine hours that passed, Lin Jie repeated the process of entering the ruins, failing, entering the ruins again and failing again . His lack of luck was portrayed fully—just for that 10% chance of being able to open the door, he had repeated the process for more than 100 times!
On a side note, this incident also showed how stubborn he could get . He persevered and kept running forward just like the main lead in the movie “Forrest Gump,” never giving up—no, he was even more extreme than that!
His efforts did pay him off eventually!
It didn’t mean that he managed to open the magical door, but… after the multiple rounds of running away from the lava and giving the Red Lizard a hard slash each time, this Boss was finally killed by him!
