……..It's already morning, huh?
Somehow, it seems that I fell asleep while thinking too much. I guess it's fine since I was able to easily sleep without having to wait.
Now then, I think it's time to wake up now.
I got up from my bed, and started to stretch as per usual. Alright, there doesn't seem to be any abnormal problems with my body.
The next thing to do is,
“Alright, i'll put on some clothes. I can't let Sari see the same sight as yesterday after all.”
To be quite honest, I find the fidgeting Sari quite cute. Still, doing it a few more times would just make me feel bad for her. Ok, let's put on some clothes earlier than usual.
“Ok, all set.”
Alright! Sari, you can knock anytime now! As soon as I thought that, there was a knock on the door,
“Yuma-san, it's almost time for breakfast!”
Amazing Sari. You came at the same time as soon as I woke up, today and yesterday as well. Is it possible that Sari held some special skills? No, I might just be imagining things, there is no way that could be possible.
Well, for now, i'll just open the door,
“Good morning Sari!”
And so, I greeted Sari,
“Ah, a, good morning, Yuma-san. It's almost time for breakfast, please come to the diner as soon as you’re ready. Please excuse me so I can finish up.”
Saying so, Sari returned downstairs.
What happened though? I seem to be wearing my clothes properly this time, and Sari seems to be a little bit let down about this. I seem to be over thinking this a little.
(ED: Nope, she likes looking at your naked upper body man)
“Well~, I suppose i’ll go have some breakfast for now.”
And so, I left my room and headed downstairs.
Hmm, it seems to be more crowded than usual. While I was looking for a place to sit, the usual voice called me out,
“Oi, Yuma! Over here!”
It’s Iguru like usual.
I thanked him, and sat down in the seat he held for me which was in front of Iguru.
“Good morning, Iguru. But, isn't it a little crowded early this morning? Is everyone going somewhere?”
“Probably, there is going to be a strategy meeting for exterminating the monsters in the Stone Forest. There is a whole mountain load of monsters to be divided among everyone since it earns good money. Well, someone who didn't work wouldn't get anything as well.”
“Hmm, is that so? Is there any space in the strategy meeting for me? Can I accompany you to that? The truth is, I already ended up clearing the Gordo Forest yesterday, so I am quite free now.”
When I said that, Iguru was visibly excited,
“Ooo! You will definitely come with us Yuma! There are no problems at all if you just come with me. If you are going, then tens of men will agree to it. Will you be ok though about not earning any big money? Since it's the mountain division after all.”
“It's alright, i'm not going for the purpose of money, it's so that I can kill some free time.”
“Is that so!? Then, let's go straight to the guild as soon as we are done eating.”
“Aaa, got it.”
And then, we quickly ate our breakfast. After that, we left Zinnia and headed for the guild. But, it was quite weird going there with someone else, considering I usually go to the guild alone. While I was having such thoughts, we had already arrived in front of the guild doors, so we pushed them open and entered, when I heard,
“It's a-aniki ! What brought you here today, Aniki? I heard a rumour that you had left for Gordo Forest yesterday.”
Immediately after entering the guild, Marubuta found us and came over. Umu, after learning of his exploits yesterday, I can't seem to keep quiet about this matter. I feel quite better about Marubuta's face now.
Well~ I guess it's fine.
“Aa, the matter with Gordo Forest was completed yesterday. So today I will be joining everyone and going to the Stone Forest”
When I said so,
“Ho, are you serious Aniki!? If Aniki comes with us, then there will be nothing to be scared of in the Stone Forest.”
And suddenly, even the surrounding adventurers started to make a fuss,
“Oi, the Headhunter is going to be coming along with us to the Stone Forest.”
“Are you serious!? What if the Headhunter takes care of all the monsters there alone?”
“No way, it's impossible for him to hog all the monsters! Rather, it would make it much safer to hunt more monsters when he’s there.”
“Moreover, we would be able to take a look at how the Headhunter fights! Just thinking about it is already making me quite excited!”
Umu, everyone seems to have a positive attitude toward me tagging along. Moreover, even if do take out some monsters, it’ll be the mountain division anyway, so I guess it's fine.”
While that was happening, the back door slowly opened.
“What's with the noise so early in the morning!? Who is responsible for this……..oh, if it isn't Yuma!?”
Oh? Guren-san, he seems to be as healthy as usual.
“Hello Guren-san. Actually, i’ve already finished the matter over at the Gordo Forest, so I thought of joining the clean-up strategy for the Stone Forest.”
“Ho! If you were to come with us today, then the clean-up operation would end by the end of today! Is that fine though? The materials are going to be split using the Mountain Method.”
“Um, I don’t particularly mind.”
“Is that so? Then, you're more than welcome. Here, this is the plan for the clean-up operation.”
Saying so, Guren-san handed me a sheet of paper.
“Since you weren’t here for yesterday's meeting, I will explain it to you, that sheet of paper you have is the proof of request for your participation in the clean-up operation, so don’t lose it. By chance, if you were to somehow lose, then you will not be able to receive your share of the monster materials.”
Aa, I understand now.
“Then, let’s quickly depart! The path to the entrance of the Stone Forest will be the same one as yesterday’s! Prepare yourself for the journey, and don’t lag behind! Alright then, let’s set off!”
“““Oooooooooooooooooooooo!!!”””
The adventurer’s took those words as the signal and started to head towards the Stone Forest, while leaving the guild one after another. Well, I guess it’s time for me to go on as well. And so, Me, Iguru, and Marubuta came up to the gate. Then Iguru said,
“Haa~, but seriously, the Stone Forest again, huh~. It takes almost more than an hour to get there, I wish there was an easier and faster way to get there.”
And then there was Marubuta,
“That’s right, well~, let’s take it easy. Right, Aniki?”
Mmh, mmh, is that so, is that so? Iguru wants to quickly go to the Stone Forest, I have a good idea.
“Hey Iguru, Marubuta, I have a good idea. There is a way that we can get to the Stone Forest in just a few minutes, but it’s a route that I haven’t really tried that much.”
Iguru and Marubuta who heard that said,
“Seriously! If you're able to do such a thing, then quickly do it. Hmm? How are you going to do it anyways?”
“........Aniki, you can’t be….?”
Mm, Marubuta seems to have understood it, and has already experienced it.
“That’s right, it’s very easy. If it’s you, then it will be easy to carry you.”
While saying so, I picked up Iguru in one arm, while picking up Marubuta with the other.
“I am going to run all the way to the Stone Forest at full speed, let’s go!”
I then started running there at full speed!
For the first several seconds, Iguru and Marubuta were screaming continuously, but soon, they fell quiet. Umu, they seem to have adjusted to it.
After that, for a few minutes, I continued to run at full speed.
“Alright, we’ve arrived. Marubuta, Iguru, we’re here.”
Even when I said that, there was no response from Iguru or Marubuta. Oi, Oi, are you two sleeping comfortably back there? While thinking that, I threw them both to the ground.
And then I heard,
“........Huh, Aniki?”
Oo, Marubuta was the first one to wake up.
And soon after,
“Huh…………….where are we? I was just in Forxx a little while ago….”
Alright, Iguru seems to have woken up safely as well.
“Good morning, you too. We have arrived at the Stone Forest safely. That was pretty quick, right?”
When I said so, the two of them looked at me with a smile and then said,
“Hey Yuma, that was indeed quite fast, but if there are similar circumstances like this again, it would be very nice if you would go at a slower speed. Please……..”
“Aniki, I ask the same of you as well….”
Mm, it seems that I have gone a little too fast.
It can’t be helped, i'll make sure to decrease my speed to half my normal speed.
Also, the adventurer’s are going to be gathered about an hour later, so I guess it would be better not to hurry up so much.
