Tokimori nodded honestly. He had helped him countless times. He had a feeling he wouldn’t have been able to grow up normal if Yato hadn’t been around. Yato was always by his side, always protecting him.
“You and your dog’s strength certainly don’t match up. Your dog is a little outside the norm though. To me, it’s a lot more peaceful for you to keep him as a pet than for him to be roaming around free, so thanks for that, but if you can’t get rid of that fear of yours no matter what, I guess you could always break your contract.”

The lights in his apartment went out all at once. Shocked, he stood up using the table for support.
