Ye Cheng looked at the person squatting at the corner of the wall. At first glance, he felt that she looked familiar. It took him quite a while before he recognized that it was Ye Zhenzhen.
“She said that she is the daughter of K-2 Scorpion. Take her back and interrogate her properly,” Lu Beixiao raised his voice and ordered.
A judicial officer came over and handcuffed Ye Zhenzhen.
“No! No! Ye Qiao, it’s all your fault! How can you be so lucky!” Ye Zhenzhen cried out and struggled as she was handcuffed.
Ye Zhenzhen’s shoulders were being dragged forward. She was still unwilling to give up and continued to yell at Ye Qiao hysterically.
“Wait!” Ye Qiao ordered and the officer immediately stopped. Ye Qiao approached Ye Zhenzhen.
“Ye Zhenzhen, do you know why my luck is so good? It is because I never take the initiative to harm people. However, my greatest good fortune is being doted on by Lu Beixiao. This is something you will never get. Just continue to be envious, jealous and hateful if you want,” Ye Qiao mocked.
Hearing Ye Qiao’s words, Ye Zhenzhen was so angry that she could almost spit blood. She glared at her hatefully then glanced at Lu Beixiao, who was hugging her lovingly.
Ye Zhenzhen was dragged downstairs and as all of them head downstairs, a hail of bullets suddenly came from the door. Lu Beixiao instinctively pressed Ye Qiao to the ground.
It was Ah Wei’s men. They came for Ah Wei and Ye Zhenzhen.
Ye Zhenzhen, who was squatting on the ground, felt hopeful again. She saw the syringe on the ground and picked it up despite her arms being in cuffs. When she saw Ye Qiao squatting by the side, she ran towards her with the syringe in her hand.
Ye Qiao’s eyes were blurry in all the chaos. In her daze, she saw Ye Zhenzhen pouncing at her. Ye Qiao manage to defend herself n she struggled with Ye Zhenzhen. “Damn Ye Qiao, I want you to get addicted! I want you –”
As they struggled, the syringe in Ye Zhenzhen’s hand ended up piercing her arm and she accidentally pressed the thruster.
Ye Zhenzhen was dumbfounded. She watched helplessly as the drug was pushed into her arm.
Ye Qiao was surprised at what happened. She laughed loudly and said, “Serves you right! You really deserved it!”
Ye Zhenzhen had a terrified look on her face. She wanted to scream but couldn’t.
On the other side, Ye Cheng and Lu Beixiao made quick work of Ah Wei’s men and secured Ah Wei.
“Brother Xiao…” Ye Qiao curled up on the ground. When Lu Beixiao walked over, he thought that she was injured. His face tensed up as he asked nervously, “Baby, what’s wrong?! Where are you hurt?!”
“Brother Xiao… I feel bad… Let’s… Go home!” Ye Qiao said as she caught scent of a strong man who came to rescue her.
The news of the bar fight spread quickly.
When the Lu and Ye families arrived at the scene, Ye Qiao and Lu Beixiao were already gone. The big shots didn’t know if Ye Qiao was injured so Ye Cheng explained that she wasn’t injured throughout the ordeal and was safe. Therefore, they all went to the house to console them after such a terrifying incident.
This made things difficult for Uncle Hai.
He stood at the entrance of the house and explained to the big shots that he was too embarrassed to say that the couple was ‘busy’.
It was Madam Du who guessed it first and told the others, “I’m guessing that Qiao Qiao put herself in danger again. Where’s Xiao? Maybe he’s educating her. Everyone, let’s disperse. As long as they’re safe and sound, that’s good new enough. Let’s visit them another day.”
As Madam Du said this, she thought to herself, that this young couple were in such good mood for someone who had gone through such an ordeal.
