However, Lava Teeth frowned and said, “So why are they here for Karl? Are they here to kill him or save him?”
Karl was not very strong and was in fact, comparatively weak. It was no wonder he could still be kept in a prison by Black Dragon Guild even as a City Lord.

It would make Quan Zhen Sect’s escape close to impossible, because a burdensome teammate was more problematic than a strong opponent.
If Quan Zhen Sect’s goal was to kill Karl, Black Dragon Guild could not do anything to protect Karl’s life even if they had millions of people on their side, because no one could guarantee his life when a war of such scale broke out.
One must know that Karl was the key to deciding Saga City’s final owner. Until the day the Black Dragon Guild obtained the seal, they would never allow Karl to die.
