"To tell you the truth," began Cherise in an irritated tone,
"I don't give a flying fig what you write about my stupid hus-
band."
Maggie blinked and blotted her face with a towel.

"Greg deserves to have his name dragged through the mud
a little right now. And if you don't do it, I might just do it

counselor ups and says to me that she thinks we have some

Maggie didn't know what to say. She felt way over her
head just now. After silently shooting up a prayer for

don't know that much about how things are between you
and Greg. But I do know a little about relationships..." She
paused to make sure Cherise was listening.
