"Is there something you need from us, seniors?" Tian Yi asked them.
"Little girl, what is your name?" The Divine Serpent Sect Master asked Meng Xiang, not even taking the time to glance at Tian Yi.
"Are you currently in a Sect?"
"How about joining my Heavenly Tiger Sect?"
The three Sect Masters did not even hear Tian Yi speak to them and asked Meng Xiang questions as though they were recruiters who accidentally noticed a talented individual in the middle of the street.
"I… I…" Bombarded with questions, Meng Xiang decided to hide behind Tian Yi.
It was only when she walked behind Tian Yi did the three Sect Master notice him.
"Who are you? And what is your relationship with her?" They all looked at him with a weird expression.
None of the three were able to sense any cultivation from him, so they thought he was just some random mortal and was not actually related to this genius little girl.
"I am her big brother. What do you want from her?" Tian Yi said in a calm voice despite facing the invisible pressure of the three Sect Master.
The crowd finally noticed the situation and all scrambled to make room for the three Sect Master, their gaze watching the situation with puzzlement.
Why did the Sect Masters appear here? For these two children? What for?
"You are her big brother?"
The three Sect Master frowned, looking at the two back and forth.
What kind of joke was this? One was an ordinary-looking mortal and the other a cultivating genius with a face that would surely become extremely beautiful once it blooms? What kind of weird sibling combo was this?
"I am her big brother." He said again, confirming the Sect Master's question.
"Then what about your parents? Do the both of you belong to any Sect?" They asked more question.
"It is just the two of us, and we do not belong to any Sect."
The eyes of the three Sect Masters shone brightly upon hearing his words.
No parents? Does not belong to any Sect? Then she was basically a nobody with a heaven-defying talent!
However, as excited as they were, none of them dared to believe for a second that Meng Xiang was able to achieve that cultivation base by herself.
"Do not be afraid. I am the Sect Master of the Azure Phoenix Sect, Yu Weng. Who taught you cultivation, little girl?" Yu Weng who would normally have an extremely sharp and cold expression turned as soft as a feather trying to not scare her.
Meng Xiang, still behind Tian Yi with her head popped out, stayed silent.
There was just something about these three individuals that made her feel uncomfortable.
"I taught her cultivation." Tian Yi answered in her stead, causing them to furrow their brows even further.
This kid taught her cultivation? Who would believe such an obvious fart?
"Kid, I don't know the actual relationship between the two of you, but we are here for her, not you." The Divine Serpent Sect's Sect Master said in an unfriendly tone.
Ever since the beginning, there was something about Tian Yi that made his scalp feel itchy.

I'm sure you have heard of the Four Ancient Lands before, so I will go straight to the point. Join my Divine Serpent Sect! "Ignore these two old perverts and come with me, little one. Our Sect are mostly females, so you will feel more at ease there," said Yu Weng with a warming smile, looking as though she was her friendly neighborhood grandma.
However, despite all their efforts to recruit her, Meng Xiang shook her head at them, dumbfounding them.
Even the crowd was dumbfounded by her refusal.
She refused to join the Four Ancient Lands, the most prominent and powerful Sects in all of Qing Shan Continent? What kind of joke was that? Not to mention that the ones personally recruiting her were Sect Masters, the person with the highest authority in their Sect besides the Ancestor!

Lu She's gaze narrowed at Tian Yi. 'It's him again…' he thought.
Just what kind of relationship does these two have? Are they actually siblings? They began to doubt.

Tian Yi was speechless, puzzled as to why they were trying so hard to recruit Meng Xiang.
