Chap 88– LITTLE GOBLIN : Master, don’t come here! Peony, The Flower Fairy
Yan Yan’s look suddenly shifted into a gloom.
He looked at Zhong Qing, a look which made him seem to be skeptical. The next moment he would tear himself apart and be terrible but he didn’t.
Yan Yan just bent down and once again, he embraced Zhong Qing.
“What are you doing–“
Yan Yan’s voice was cold and said, “When Sister Peony woke up a while ago, her body was still weak and should not be exposed for a long time so I will send my sister back to rest.”
Zhong Qing answered him, “I don’t need a rest. You let me down.”
Yan Yan pretended not to hear anything.
Zhong Qing said again, “Yan Yan! You let me down!”
But Yan Yan
still did not pause walking.
After a layoff in her heart, the spiritual power of her body was forced to break free.
But the next moment, her eyes widened. Her power was still there, but she felt awkward and astringent. It was like being bound by something. She couldn’t get herself together.
“What’s going on?” Zhong Qing thought.
She suddenly became silent and looked at Yan Yan who seemed to be somewhat strange. He looked down to see Zhong Qing and found that she closed her eyes.
He then felt a sudden panic in his heart.
“Sister Peony?”
With a soft but anxious voice, she opened her eyes and calmly looked at Yan Yan, “Why? What’s wrong?”
Yan Yan’s heart suddenly felt relieved and his face softened again, “Nothing.”
She looked at him inexplicably and closed
closed her eyes again.
She did not have time to pay attention Yan Yan as she needed to find out what happened to her.
However, no source was found.
There was no strange place on her body. It was logical that that should not be the case.
“I don’t understand.” Zhong Qing baffled.
Soon, she was sent back to the Dragon Palace.
She was placed on a soft couch.
Yan Yan seemed to have completely forgotten their dispute earlier and softly said to her, “My sister Peony, you should take some rest now. Wait until the evening, and I will accompany you to a meal.”
After all, he was an emperor and he couldn’t stay with her all the time. But it’s okay because the
Dragon Palace had a lot of guards and slaves to look
to look after Zhong Qing.
Yan Yan left already.
Zhong Qing’s power seemed to weaken, but she was still conscious and she felt the nature around her.
“System, do you know what happened?”
She may be asleep for several years but the System wasn’t.
The System flashed into a white light and said, “The host senses its own body.”
With a good look, she finally found something.
Since she was already awake, she no longer sensed her own body.
Looking around the Dragon Palace, she did not see any tall Peony around.
Zhong Qing got a maid over and asked, “Did your majesty keep a flower Peony?”
She paused and added, “The one which does not bloom.”
When Yan Yan was still a prince, there was a very peony that he always cherished which was known throughout the court.
The slave the court.
The slave looked at Zhong Qing, concealing the shock in his eyes, and respectfully said, “Before, the majesty had a peony, but when he started to live in the Dragon Palace, he was never seen with that Peony anymore again.”
She let the person leave. She felt something bad in her heart.
Yan Yan already returned to the Dragon Palace for the evening meal.
When he saw Zhong Qing, he smiled and said to her, “What my Sister Peony wants to know, just ask directly from me without asking anybody else.”
He really knew what happened in the afternoon.
Zhong Qing looked at him and asked, “Then tell me where the Peony is?”
Yan Yan’s expression remained unchanged and made a hand gesture…
And then all those who stayed in the Dragon Palace withdrew.
