Chapter 18: Man In Blue
I create a duplicate of Mari in order to start a conversation with the mysterious man .
(Mari): "Stop right there! Explain to me, who the hell are you?"
The man in blue stopped and answered politely .
(???): "Oh! this is rare! a Man-Eating plant! Do not worry, I am not a suspicious person and simply a messenger in one form or another . The name's Azur, a dark merchant!
This person is super suspicious . . . rather than looking at Mari, he was staring directly at my area, additionally, it seems like he already knows my identity .
(Mari): "Messenger? Dark Merchant? What is that supposed to mean?"
(Azur): "You don't have to be so alert madame~, after all, you are very familiar with this person who hired this messenger"
(Mari): "Someone I know . . . ?"
At that moment I heard the voice from the sky .
"How are you feeling? It seems like you are harvesting quite a bit of energy crystals in the time we haven't talked . To be able to collect 77 crystals, you are an expert at this!"

(Azur): "Currently, you are collecting energy crystals am I correct? However, I'm pretty sure you don't know how many crystals you are supposed to collect . Well, I found out that you need a total of 666 crystals in order to complete your goal! it'll take a while but I'm pretty confident that you'll be able to pull it off!"
(Mari): "666 crystals huh? that does seem like a lot it will take a while to collect but I'm pretty sure I will live long so there will probably be no problems . "
(Azur): "That's right, it seems like your heart is in the right place! By the way, have you changed recently? did you eat something weird?"
Azur took out a small blue glass from his pocket and began tracing it .
(Mari): "change huh . . . nothing in particular . . . However, there was a fairy that I was unable to eat"

(Azur): "Is that so? well occasionally that kind of thing does happen it seems"
Maybe he was referring to the mana seed . . . well it isn't a big deal so I probably don't need to mention it .
(Azur): "Well anyways from here, it will be more focused on my goals . To gather those crystals it will take a long time, right? in that case, having the necessary strength is required, well you already are plenty strong so that won't apply to you but regardless, it is also nice to have some form of insurance in case something goes wrong right? therefore I would like you to consider buying some of these items you may find useful . "
(Mari): "is that so? that makes sense in a way"
(Azur): "Are you interested? Let me show you some of my merchandise"
Azur snapped his fingers, causing 3 items to appear out of thin air .
Azur picks up an almond looking items and began explaining
(Azur:) "This here is known as the "Dummy seed"! It essentially creates a dummy of yourself! a useful item to use when you are in a pinch!"
Next, he picked up a blue ball
(Azur): "This here is the "Duplicate Ball"! It is similar to your duplicate skill in that it is able to create a duplicate of a living thing! However, unlike your skill, this ball does not consume TP to create a duplicate and does not have a cooldown!"
Finally, he picked up a grey ball of dust .

(Azur): "finally, this is the "smoke ball!" . . . . . Its just a smoke ball . . . . But I'm sure there are uses for it! after all it is always most definitely a necessity in tight situations! (Azur): "Absolutely not! In these dangerous times, these necessities items must become accessible to everyone! The usual price for this set was 5 energy crystals but just for you, they are only 3 energy crystals per set! what a deal! Are you going to let this bargain go madame?"
(Mari): "Your right . . . Alright I'll take 2 sets then please"
(Azur): "Thank you very much! Remember to come back to the dark merchant Azur for any other necessity items!"
(Mari): "No problem"
Somehow, I lost to the momentum and ended up buying his items . . . Well, they don't seem like bad items anyways so it might be useful .
(Azur): "well then, I look forward to being able to see you again madame"

The man in blue cheerfully left .
