The forest is peaceful once again today . In fact, I'm starving because its way too peaceful here .
Speaking of which my level has gone up after eating the elf and it seems like I got a couple of new skills .

I'd say I'm getting pretty decently strong now . This time around I was particularly interested in my [tree meteor] skill that I just acquired .
since it sounds very interesting, I decided to try it out right away .
I used my map to try to activate the skill . On my map, there are the usual red dots but there are also these larger circles that seem to be where I am able to place the tree meteor skill . It also seems like this skill also takes some time to activate .
After a while, a red dot finally entered the trap mark . it was a winged rabbit that ran into my trap .
Well then, let's try activating this skill .

At that moment, a cannon-like sound could be heard in the distance, and the red marker on the map also disappeared with the explosion .
. . . . . I guess I should check out just what happened .
At the scene, there was a big tree that was stuck into the ground creating a gigantic crater about 20 meters in diameter . There was no shadow or shape of the winged rabbit, it was annihilated .
This skill is . . . to put it simply, useless . it's way too overboard and doesn't let me eat any of my prey . I should create a duplicate of a villager after to repair this area .
The next skill I will try out is [sap], I installed it around an area and activated the skill .
Soon after the nearby Debt Bird and Winged rabbits all came flying towards where the sap was installed . Since it was also activating with a sweet scent, it seems like the effect was greatly increased .
The animals all got on top of the sap, causing them to become immobilized . . . and that was all .
Finally, I tried out the mandrake skill I got . It seems to be a human-shaped plant .
After creating it, I planted it in a suitable place .
This guy seems to be able to be activated at any time, or it can be set to automatically activate after someone approaches .
Welp there no drawbacks to activating it now so let's try it out .
"GGGGYYYAAAHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHH!"
The mandrake came out of the ground and made an incredible noise, the noise was soo loud that it made the air vibrate and caused the nearby animals to fly away .

This skill . . . What can I use it for? . . . I'm having a hard time thinking of a practical way of using it .

This time around, The Elf has been added to my duplication list .
I was always interested in magic, so I'm really looking forward to playing around with her . Just thinking about the different ways I can use her makes me excited .
It won't hurt to practice using magic with her, as the elf has a lot of different magic skills she can use .

This elf seems to be quite skilled at using fire magic . On top of that, she has lots of useful detection skills for multiple different kinds of threats . There also seems to be other skills but I cannot see them as it doesn't seem like I can use them right now .
Speaking of which the hero and the elf both seem to have the same skills . I wonder what that skill does . Well, it's not urgent right now so I'll carefully check out the skill later .
------Suddenly there was a shadow of a person in my field of view, somebody was approaching .
he was wearing blue clothing and has a suspicious aura around him . His face was also not visible as he had a black mask on .
Did this guy come to the forest to get eaten by me? If so he will be a good meal .
. . . Something is strange, the man does not appear on the map and he is not visible on the map despite being well within my capture range .
The man slowly approaches me, does he know who I am?
