After she arranged the mattress on the floor, Jiang Yuning walked over and sat on it with his pillow in hand.
“What are you doing?” Nian Xi was perplexed.

He quickly stood up to roll up the bedsheets on the bed.
Nian Xi blocked his way. “Why would you sleep on the floor if there’s a bed around? Sleep on it. I’m leaving the room if you don’t listen to me.”
She had to give it to the guy. It was just like sleeping together if they both slept on the floor.
Jiang Yuning looked at her grumpily, and then finally stopped when she looked at him firmly. Nian Xi quickly inspected the room and found a small microphone installed behind the television.
Zhan Hong reported the matter to the manager of the hotel and the management insisted they had nothing to do with it. They claimed it might have been put there by a previous guest and they would compensate them for their hotel stay over the next few days to express their apology. If they were unsatisfied with the arrangement, the manager said they could find another accommodation.
When the manager left the room, Fang Qi said angrily, “Those bunch of westerners are just patronizing us. We can spill this news and expose them on mainstream media!”
“No.” Zhan Hong shook his head. “We can’t afford this to go public and expose Mr. Jiang’s identity. His research may be in danger. Just forget it. Let’s just compromise with this.
