"Good for nothing! You're all trash! Go and get the idiot responsible for this matter! Slice him into flesh paste and feed dogs!"
Wu Qiujun roared at the top of his lungs. Had it not been the problem with the intelligence work, he wouldn't have suffered grave losses to an unbearable amount today.

"Martial master, I'd venture to say, we'd better patch up broken relations with Xu Yaoting now. We can't take any further collisions with him for the time being."
Pausing for a bit, Duan Lengyan made a serious proposal.
"Why? Don't you know that appeasement brings disaster?"
Wu Qiujun felt bewildered.
Duan shook her head and went on.

Then it will become much easier for us to sort him out, as he will have nobody to support him. One log, as an old saying goes, cannot prop up a tottering building."
Wu Qiujun nodded heavily in agreement after pondering over her statement.
"You're absolutely correct! Once we hold the Qingyun Empire in leash, Xu Yaoting won't be able to play tricks again. Lengyan, speaking of tactical techniques, I'm inferior to you! Our empire will surely resurrect itself with flying colors under your leadership! Unlike you, your two elder brothers, however, only focus on the throne and isolate you by fair means or foul. I do feel for you!"
Duan Lengyan shook her head, smiling wryly.
"There is a turmoil going on in the Qingyun Empire as well as our empire. I, at present, only hope that my father can hold longer in his throne, otherwise, our empire would only end up floundering in a more hellish manner."
Wu Qiujun let out a sigh in spite of himself, looking extremely pensive.
