Xu Wenchuan was anything but a pushover.

He continued to step back in order to steer clear of Wu's barbaric attacks.

Wu couldn't hold long — his momentum would go off the boil soon.

He, as expected, got fended off by Xu Wenchuan after dozens of attacks.

With his efforts going down the drain, he soon went exhausted, as he had consumed quite a bit of his spiritual energy.

"Humph...Wu Qiujun, are you done with your temper tantrum? It's my turn now!"

Xu Wenchuan bounced up in the meantime, getting back at Wu Qiujun with an attack; he made the most of Wu Qiujun's exhaustion, plunging at Wu like a floating dragon with mighty grandeur.

He benefited a lot from the three moves Wandong furtively learned from Wu. They not only helped him sort out the puzzles he met during his practice of the Whirlwind Pithy Formula but also offered him an in-depth insight into the Whirlwind Tactics.

According to The Art of War by Sun Tzu, if you know the enemy as well as yourself,  you can fight a hundred battles with no danger of defeat.

Compounded with Wu Qijun's dreadful fatigue, Xu Wenchuan's counterattack got off to a flying start.

As slippery as an eel, Xu's brilliant moves went at Wu Qiujun's weak links across the board, catching the latter off guard.

Wu Qiujun could do nothing but stamp with fury. He soon came at a disadvantage in a short while.

That was such an incredible spectacle that Leng Yuecui, Wu Yang, and Zong Qi wondered in spite of themselves — Wu Qiujun was not as formidable as they thought. Otherwise, he wouldn't have gone at his wit's end like an idiot when confronting Xu Wenchuan.

"Damn Xu, you're way out of the line with me! Go to hell!"

He went on exerting himself with his ferocious attack regardless of the forthcoming failure out of sheer rage.

He indulged himself in enormous distress — he had never felt so vexed before, including the times when he was inferior to Xu Wenchuan in martial capacity.

His attack, apparently, was nothing but the last-ditch attempt; Xu Wenchuan didn't dread him at all.

Laughing loudly, Xu stopped steering away from Wu Qiujun.

He stood still, resembling an unshakable mountain; his horrifying force burst out darting at Wu with no reservation.

One could foretell the result without any efforts — a collision between an exhausted warrior and his vigorous rival was no cliffhanger in the slightest.

Hardly had Wu Qiujun approached Xu Wenchuan when the latter's overwhelming force hurled him back.

"You..."

Wu Qiujun couldn't for the life of him come to the terms with such an elusive circumstance. He stuttered out of insufferable shame and resent, ghostly pale.

"You wanna kill my grandson with your cheesy martial capacity?"

Xu Wenchuan responded with a sneer.

No sooner had his voice faded away than he came up to Wu at a flash-like speed.

He lifted his right palm。

Right then, a scarlet print of his palm appeared on Wu Qiujun's face with a bang.

Wu took the slap helplessly — he was way too feeble to flinch away from that.
