After a moment of dead silence, Chi suddenly spoke, his voice was like a curse ringing through a dark night, making your hair stand.
'Why aren't you coming in?'
Wu noticed the huge pile of 'evidence' in Chi's hands, he dazedly replied, 'I don't dare to.'
Chi's eerie glare shot towards Wu's face, 'There're still things that you don't dare to do?'
Wu didn't say anything.
'Come in,' Chi's tone was still flat.
The moment Wu stepped into the clinic, he had already played through an entire outcome of this situation in his head and he was ready for it.
Chi stared as Wu took each step closer to him, that face is still the same face, the face which he thought his expression speaks louder than his words. Now looking at it again, Chi was too ahead of himself, the capability of him manipulating everyone else and he was once so proud of it, now everything on Wu seems like a joke to him.
'What are all these?' Chi handed over the 'achievement list' to Wu, 'Explain it to me.'
Wu looked down and looked at the opened page, all details of his plan were fully revealed right before his eyes, and also the disdain and disgust Chi had for this type of person.
He once thought about the reason he could give once everything has been spilled, now then he realized that nothing is strong enough to talk him out of this.
'Didn't you see it yourself?' Wu said.
Chi's frigid face suddenly changed into a hideous expression, the desk has been kicked aside by Chi's foot and Wu's expressionless face has been pulled right in front of Chi's.
'What did I see?' Chi's roar was louder than the lightning, 'What exactly did I see?!'
Wu replied, 'The purpose of me getting close to you.'
'You've been keeping in contact with her for the past two years? You've been missing her for the past two years? You still want to reconcile with her?'
The agony in Chi's eyes was rolling in like tidal waves, and the scars of standing up for someone over every major and minor things, all of those were stabbing into Wu's heart until all it was left was a mushy mess.
'Yes, you're right,' Wu gave in to it.
At this point in time, Chi had millions of urges to kill Wu, wanting to pin him down and fuck him to death, wanting to cook him up in a pot and look at him as Wu screamed in pain in the water, then swallow him whole, bones and all.
It was so miserable that Chi's eyeballs turned bloodshot red.
But when his hands were around Wu's neck, once again feeling the once so familiar touch, something inside has collapsed.
'I don't care what your purpose was before, you tell me, from the beginning till now, did you ever love me? I don't care if it was just a millisecond. As long as you nod your head, I will disregard everything.'
Wu's heart was like rolling in snow, getting colder and colder.
'No, the reason why I got together with you back then was to take revenge on you and Yue Yue. Now that I continue staying with you was just to use you, to make you get the money that I want. By the time I'm qualified in Yue Yue's heart again, I will continue our relationship. I'm a straight guy, how can I spend my entire life with you?'
Chi's pale face was flushed with dread, his voice was trembling non-stop.
'Wu Suo Wei, you've won, you can hide in your blanket and laugh away. I will openly admit, my life now is fucking miserable! You have great tricks under your sleeves, I lose to you willingly, I deserve this, I fucking deserve all of this!'
'Miserable...' Wu retaliated with red eyes, 'Have you ever loved me? You can ask yourself that. Is it really suitable to use that word on me?'

When you spent the night over at someone else's house, I didn't even stab you with a knife; when you publicly flirt right in front of me, I did not even curse at you; I feel wretched for days after slapping you, I rather kick you out then be angry at you...how is this love?'
Wu's heart has been crushed with these words.
Chi grabbed on Wu's shoulders, looking into his eyes determinedly.
'You're feeling that I love him but not you, right? You're not blaming me for treating you too well, so you can't tell the sincerity I have, right? From now on you'll switch places with him! I will treat him better, I will care about him more; I don't wish to fucking see you again, we will never meet again!'
Wu just realized at this moment, every word that came out from Chi's mouth, there are zero possibility of him taking them back.
'This is the truth I've been searching for you, seven years ago, Shuo and Guo never did that thing. Congrats, the demon inside you has been repelled, you can reconcile with him as you wish.'
Chi took the USB, his smile was obviously twisted.
'I'm so happy that I don't know what else to say. Wu, I thank you, I thank you for treating me like this, thank you for making my dream come true...'

After saying that, Wu turned and walked away.
The moment Chi's car was completely gone from his sight, Wu then cried on the streets.
'Can't you fucking see if I loved you or not?'
His arm was propping him up against the door frame.

His heart was finally at ease, and very dead.

Reaching home, Chi finished the clips inside the USB, after seeing that he brought Jealous along and went to Shuo's place.
Shuo was fast asleep on the couch in the living room, he didn't even realize the footsteps in the room.
Chi quietly squatted down by the couch, placing the dangling arm of Shuo on his body, staring blankly into his face. 40 minutes later, Shuo finally woke up.
'Chi?' Shuo asked sleepily.
Comparing to Chi's attitude before, he was much gentler this time.
'It's me.'
Shuo yawned and sat up, looking at Chi right into his eyes.
'What blew you here?'
Chi's deep voice said, 'I should've come earlier, shouldn't I? You've been waiting for 7 years.'
Shuo didn't say anything, he grabbed Jealous away from Chi and gave it a kiss on its snout. Then Jealous was noticeably happier, it slithered its way around Shuo's neck and kept rubbing against him.
Chi sat beside Shuo, just like how they were before, letting Shuo lean against his body.
'Do you remember the time when I gave you Jealous, what colour was he?'
Chi gave it a thought and said, 'Should be a mustard yellow with stripes.'
'Correct, you have a good memory!'
Shuo poked on Chi's head and laughed himself, his current state was a totally different person from who he was a few days before.
'I like the version of you right now,' Chi looked at Shuo, 'You were such a lovable child, you have made yourself non-human.'
'Isn't that all because of you?' Shuo heaved.
Chi gave Shuo's hand a squeeze, 'Just be like this in the future, don't ever change.'
'Who do I have to blame it on? Isn't it you? I say why do you change so quickly? You have different personality every second, every day, even a sane person will get mental seeing you like this.'
Chi wrapped his arm around Shuo's shoulder and said, 'I'll be like this forever, I won't ever change anymore.'
Shuo purposefully asked, 'Like what?'
'Can't you tell?' Chi asked back.
Shuo sneered, 'How can I tell without you telling me?'
'Right, I still owe you a sentence,' Chi suddenly remembered, 'I'll make it up to you now.'
Shuo was feeling a little nervous, 'What sentence?'
Chi once again squatted down, stared into Shuo's eyes for a while.
'Shuo, I don't love you anymore.'
Shuo's expression immediately lost its colour.
Chi took out the USB from his pocket and gave it to Shuo.
'I saw this, I have no reminisence whatsoever anymore. I've been waiting for this answer my whole life, now that Wu has gave me the answer. I then realized, I really don't love you.'
Shuo was totally taken aback, he couldn't say anything.
Chi's hand caressed Shuo's face, then simply said, 'Maybe you've stopped loving me a while ago, but because of this USB, you then have an reason to be indignant.'
'Chi, you're cruel,' Shuo said.
Chi looked at him firmly, 'It's not me, it's Wu, he has broken every possibility of us getting back together. I just figured out this today, actually you're really innocent, comparing you both, you're not even on his level of nasty.'
Shuo cried, 'Because I care about you more than he did.'
'I know,' Chi wiped away Shuo's tears, 'The reason why I allowed you to frame him every time is because this process has made me realized how much I actually love him, all he was doing before was just trying to kick you out of my heart...but how should I do when I love him?'
Shuo has completely broken down.
Chi hugged him tightly.
'Didn't you say I'm just obsessing over the fact that you left me for 7 years, but I never asked if you ever did it with Guo? Now let me answer you, because what has hurt me isn't your betrayal, but your determination. I hate you for leaving me for 7 years, without any reason given.'
Shuo really regretted it, he was so regretful till he couldn't comprehend who he was.
'My heart has always been perfectly normal, it belonged to you for that 6 years, but you didn't protect it. Now that it's gone, it has completely gone to Wu, no matter how bad he hurt me, I will not give in.'
There weren't tears coming out from Shuo's eyes anymore.
'Stop talking.'
Chi kissed on Jealous' snout deeply.
'I'll return him to you, you can take him away.'
After saying that, he tapped on Shuo's head and walked away.
Determined, firmed.
