Prologue
June 5th, 2022.
Gun Choi headed to City Hall with a light heart.
“Today is my last day.”
The last day for his 24-month-long public service.
Beep.
Checking his cell phone, he saw a text message from his friend.
‘Did you know we have celebration dinner tonight after work?’
His friend, who had been forced to take up the position of public service due to being overweight, had been anticipating the celebration party for the past few days.
But Gun Choi, the main character of the party, was unconcerned with the party.
The only important thing to him was the Major Leagues.
That league of dreams, which was almost within his grasp 3 years ago, was once again awaiting him.
‘I’ve recovered from my injury and I’ve developed more skills, so this time I’ll get in at all costs. And I’ll prove that they were wrong about abandoning me.’
Gun Choi clenched his fist.

But as he was strengthening his will, he saw a stroller rolling down the hill and he ran towards it at full speed.
