When Haining spotted Gu Mohan, she bent over and bowed respectfully. “Boss.”
The resplendent corridor was lined with custom-made wool carpeting and decorated with champagne gold chandeliers. Gu Mohan walked without giving a backward glance, leaving the group to only watch his back view.
Fangfang asked in a soft voice, “Director Haining, is that the President of Cathay Entertainment?”
Employees like the scriptwriter Fangfang weren’t usually qualified to meet Gu Mohan in real life and it was her first time seeing him.
Haining nodded. “Cathay Entertainment is the leader of the many entertainment companies in the entertainment industry and it is also a subsidiary of C.T Corporation. It is known that the C.T Corporation has diversified and gotten involved in real estate, entertainment, finance and also in the technological industries. C.T Corporation is practically the economic lifeline of the Capital and its President, Gu Mohan’s net worth has increased a hundredfold since its inception. He’s an eminent business magnate and the big boss in the Capital. That man is our boss, Gu Mohan.”
Haining was a renowned director in the entertainment industry and was also one of the shareholders of Cathay Entertainment, so she actually knew who Gu Mohan was.
“Wow.” Fangfang couldn’t help but gasp. “He’s got such impressive achievements but he only appears to be in his 30s.”

Chen Tao was holding onto his car keys while walking over to get in his car when a few bodyguards dressed in full black appeared. They ran over, putting a black bag over his head.
Chen Tao jumped in shock. “Who are you people? Why are you doing this? I’m warning you now, you’d better let go of me right away, if not, I’ll call the cops.”
One bodyguard kicked his leg and Chen Tao instantly fell on his knees. The other bodyguards started to beat him up.
“Ah, it hurts… stop hitting me, please let me gーargh!” Chen Tao groveled at their feet.
What the hell was going on? Who did he offend and why were the bodyguards even hitting him? Who exactly put them up to it?
There was a limousine parked along the streets, the window wound down and a handsome face was revealed. It was Gu Mohan.

“We can leave.”
The limousine sped away.

Gu Mohan was reading through a set of documents and he hadn’t lifted his head. “What do you need it for?”
“I’m going to add Fairy Sister on Wechat, then I’m going to chat with her online,” Little Munchkin chirped in a tender voice.

Gu Mohan furrowed his brows, he had no prior experience with Wechat.
Putting his hand in his pocket, he whipped out a black cell phone, throwing it into Little Munchkin’s eager hands.
Little Munchkin unlocked the cell phone screen. “Daddy, you haven’t downloaded Wechat yet. I’ll help you download it right now.”
Gu Mohan lifted his head, watching Little Munchkin press on the phone screen a couple of times before it was done. “I’ve installed it, the next step is to add Fairy Sister’s contact… Okay, I’ve sent her a friend request! Now all I have to do is wait for her to accept my request.”
Pursing his lips, Gu Mohan did not say a word.
Ten minutes later, the limousine stopped on the lawn of the Champagne Residences. Gu Mohan brought Little Munchkin back to the villa and they entered the dining room to prepare for lunch.
Little Munchkin had just taken a bite of his lunch when ‘Ding’, a notification popped up. “Yay! Fairy Sister accepted my friend request!”
Auntie Su stood in a corner, signaling nervously towards Little Munchkin nonstop. Seeing Little Munchkin using a cell phone and talking while having lunch, Sir was bound to be angry with his behavior.
But Little Munchkin was too excited to care.
