Chapter 1416: Drugging Him
After a hot shower, Jun Xiqing put on some pyjamas and came out.
“Your Highness.” Ping Ping quickly brought over a clean towel to dry off Jun Xiqing’s long hair. After a moment, Jun Xiqing took Ping Ping’s hand.
“Ping Ping, I’m sorry. I know you are already discussing marriage with Fan Men, but the two of you have to be separated because of me. I want to wait until I find my brother and leave Country A with him. You can then remain behind and marry Fan Men. Lu Yeming will not make things difficult for you.”
“Your Highness, I said before that I owe my life to you. I will go wherever you go. Don’t think that you can just ditch me.” Ping Ping hugged Jun Xiqing tightly.
At her words, Jun Xiqing sighed, feeling very touched.
“Your Highness, this President Lu is really too much. He actually deceived you with a fake jade pendant and wanted to make use of you to kill Young Master. Jun Xiqing lowered her long lashes. She felt like her youthful love and adoration for Lu Yeming had already dissipated.
Love was a fragile thing. It could not withstand this kind of plunder and ravaging by him.
As she stood there watching that luxury car of his gradually drive off into the distance, she had let go of him, let go of herself.
“Ping Ping, do you know that I am very happy today, really very happy. That’s because I found out I have a brother, and he has been looking for me all this time. I just…” Jun Xiqing’s eyes had turned red.
The Jun Family had hurt her deeply and she had thought that she didn’t have any family in this world. She thought that she was an orphan.

“Your Highness, just wait until we find Young Master, he will definitely protect you. By then, he will even help you teach President Lu a good lesson. I’m certain that Young Master will never let anyone bully you.”
Jun Xiqing nodded vigorously and a warm smile, radiant as the sun on a summer day, shone through her tears.
“Oh yes Your Highness, what do you know about Mu Yutang?”
Mu Yutang…
Jun Xiqing had heard of this name. She had interacted with Country C’s Leader Mu over the past three years, and naturally knew of Mu Yutang.
But she didn’t know much.
As a result, when Lu Yeming suddenly asked her about Mu Yutang at the restaurant earlier, all she could say were the words “six years ago”.
“Mu Yanyan is the number one beauty among the socialites now, but this status has been purposely cultivated by her. The number one beauty six years ago was actually Mu Yutang. During her time, many nobles had fallen for Mu Yutang, and the Mu Family became famous because of her.

“Could this boyfriend be my brother?” Jun Xiqing linked all the information together and mused thoughtfully.
Ping Ping smiled. “Your Highness, we will know for sure after we find Young Master. But how do we find him? President Lu is sure to have set up a wide net for us, just waiting for us to stumble in.”
“Lu Yeming wanted to move me to Peacock Terrace today. I think he planned to make use of me to lure my brother over there. Let’s go to Peacock Terrace tomorrow night.”
“Your Highness, are you crazy? President Lu will definitely be at Peacock Terrace in preparation. He has launched a major search party for you and now you’re saying you are going to deliver yourself to him?”
Lu Yeming was a rather dangerous person. She managed to escape this once, and he would make sure that she would never escape again.
Jun Xiqing smirked. “This is Country A and his territory. The search party would be in full force throughout the entire nation anyway. And so the most dangerous place is naturally the safest. Moreover, I have decided to cooperate with someone this time.”
Ping Ping’s eyes brightened. “Who?”
Peacock Terrace.
Mu Yanyan closed the bedroom door as she looked at Jun Xiqing with a coy smile. “Sister Jun, you are so daring. President Lu is just next door but you still dare to come?”
Jun Xiqing had taken on the appearance of one of Mu Yanyan’s maids. No one could tell the difference. “Miss Mu, I know that you will cooperate with me because only if my brother and I leave here, will you have the chance to marry Lu Yeming and become his Empress.”
Mu Yanyan remained smiling. “It will be night soon. Your brother Dongfang Yu should be here. I hope that the two of you leave here as soon as possible. Don’t bring me any trouble.”
“Alright.”
Jun Xiqing carried the tea and assumed the humble mannerisms of a maid. She left the room.
Mu Yanyan sat before the vanity, watching her own lovely face. At this moment, her most trusted maid brought a packet of powdered medicine over. “Young Mistress, as you requested.”
Mu Yanyan took the packet. “Is it potent?”
The maid whispered. “This is the world’s most potent aphrodisiac. Once a man ingests it, he will have to have a woman. The transaction was done very discreetly and no one will ever link the purchase to Young Mistress.”
Mu Yanyan smiled with satisfaction.
The maid was somewhat doubtful. “Young Mistress, President Lu is so perceptive and powerful, that even Dongfang Ruoli didn’t dare to play this trick on him, for fear of the heavy repercussions. Are you not afraid…”
“Afraid of what?” Mu Yanyan glanced at her own reflection with a wide smile. “Summon Jun Xiqing in.”
“Miss Jun? What are you planning to do?” The maid didn’t understand.
“Put the medicine in the tea and have Jun Xiqing deliver it to Lu Yeming. Let her be the one to dose her own man, and push him into the arms of another woman. Whether or not I end up with him, Lu Yeming and Jun Xiqing will be utterly finished.”
The maid’s eyes brightened. Young Mistress was truly cunning.
Inside the room.
Several maids entered bearing gourmet food, snacks and fruit. They arranged the items on the coffee table, with Jun Xiqing coming in last.
Fan Men was inside the room. “Leave after putting down the things.”
“Yes.”
Jun Xiqing put down the coffee in her hands. At this moment, the door to the washroom opened. A chilly gust of after-shower freshness wafted over. It was Lu Yeming, with his long, lean body.
When Jun Xiqing looked up, she saw that Lu Yeming had just bathed and was wearing a white shirt and black pants. With his shirt untucked and the top two buttons undone to reveal his sexy collarbone, he looked casual and relaxed.
He didn’t look any different from yesterday. His handsome features were just as chiselled. Noble, elegant, distinguished.
But there was an additional layer of frosty remoteness which made one afraid to go near him.
