Chapter 1409: I Don’t Love You Anymore, You Are Nothing To Me
She was looking for him just because of a jade pendant! He thought she was seeking him to reconcile.
A cold malevolence glossed over Lu Yeming’s handsome face.
“Lu Yeming, this jade pendant is very important to me. Yesterday, you were the only one who came close to me. Did you see my pendant?” Jun Xiqing asked anxiously.
Lu Yeming stared at her coldly. “So you suspect me of stealing your jade pendant?”
“That’s not what I meant…”
Lu Yeming snorted and said lazily, “Then what do you mean?”
Jun Xiqing went forward and tugged at the sleeve of his black shirt. “Lu Yeming, help me recover my jade pendant, please? This is your territory. It would be very easy for you to find it.”
As Lu Yeming narrowed his eyes, he suddenly smiled. “I was the one who took your jade pendant. Do you want it?”
Jun Xiqing was stunned. He was admitting to taking her jade pendant?
Suspicion crossed her gaze as she considered what he was saying, momentarily unsure of whether he was speaking the truth. She tried to scrutinize his face for a sign.
However, she could not see anything.
At this moment, Lu Yeming’s eyes were like two dangerous and emotionless little abysses. Anyone who peered into them would sink deep in.
“Will you return the jade pendant to me?” Jun Xiqing asked.
Lu Yeming gave a sexy smirk. “The jade pendant is in my room. Come if you want it.”
Once again Jun Xiqing entered his bedroom. This was her second time here. She glanced at the extrlarge sized bed. Her mind was filled with images of their romps during their earlier days together.
She quickly averted her eyes, not wishing to see it anymore.
Now, all she wanted to do was to recover her pendant and leave as soon as possible.
“What are you thinking about?”
A soft noise was close to her ears.

Lu Yeming had come over and was standing behind her, so close that their clothes were inadvertently brushing against each other.
Jun Xiqing looked up. The clear floor-length windows reflected their images. He was standing behind her. His firm male physique pressing close to her soft body. It was extremely ambiguous.
It made her feel very uncomfortable. She took two steps to the side to put in some distance between them.
When the amorous vibe faded, she spoke up. “Where’s the jade pendant? Can you return it to me now?”
Jade pendant, jade pendant…
All she could speak about was that jade pendant. Was the jade pendant her husband?
Lu Yeming raised his brows. “The jade pendant is inside my pocket. Come and get it yourself.”

Jun Xiqing reached up to tuck one silky strand of hair behind her fair ear. “You can take it out for me.”
“No? Then I am leaving.”
Lu Yeming turned to leave.

Jun Xiqing immediately went forward and stuffed her hand into his pocket.
She scrambled around his pocket before raising her brows. “There’s nothing inside. Lu Yeming, you lied to me!”
She was about to draw her hand back, but Lu Yeming held her hand and pushed it to the side. “Isn’t this something?”

Jun Xiqing lifted her feet to kick him. “Lu Yeming, what the hell do you mean by this?”
“Ha.” Lu Yeming chuckled. “I let you go and told you to never appear before me again. But you still came looking for me over some lousy jade pendant. I think you are actually looking for my family jewels, right? Jun Xiqing, don’t play hard-to-get anymore. I am getting tired of this.”
He actually suspected her of lying?
He thought she was just trying to find an excuse to get close to him?
Jun Xiqing took a deep breath and glared at him. “Lu Yeming, I don’t care if you believe me. I will explain just this once. The jade pendant I misplaced is something I have on me all the time. It is very closely linked to my birth history. It is very important to me!
“Don’t think that I am playing hard-to-get or that I’m being tiresomely greedy. It’s because I love you that you feel this sense of superiority. I don’t love you anymore, you are nothing to me!”
With that, Jun Xiqing yanked her own hand back and turned to leave.
She wanted to leave this horrible place.
She didn’t want to spend another second with this man.
Lu Yeming turned to watch her departing profile. When she reached the door, he suddenly spoke up. “If you dare to leave this room, don’t expect to see your jade pendant ever again!”
Jun Xiqing halted and turned to look at him. Her eyes blazed with obvious anger and frustration.
Lu Yeming walked over to stand in front of her.
Jun Xiqing lunged at him in crazed fury like some kind of lunatic. She pounded at him with her fists and kicked him with no restraint.
The entire time, Lu Yeming didn’t duck or avoid her strikes. He let her beat him for a while, before holding down her wrists and pinning her against the wall.
Then he finally glared at her with bloodshot eyes. “Little shrew, I dare you to hit me again?”
“Lu Yeming, I don’t like you! I really don’t like you anymore!” Jun Xiqing’s eyes turned red as she glared at him stubbornly.
The jade pendant was very important to her.
She needed his help.
But he only knew how to tease her and bully her. He was now even making all sorts of threats against her. The man was such a jerk!
She really wouldn’t like him ever again.
Lu Yeming’s eyes dimmed. He lifted her over his shoulders.

She struggled hard.
Lu Yeming reached the bed in two steps and flung her onto the soft bed.
Jun Xiqing felt dizzy. This was where he slept and his clean, manly scent assaulted her nostrils. She felt very resistant and immediately tried to get up.
Lu Yeming stood by the bed. “Don’t you want to find the jade pendant? I will help you find it.”

Jun Xiqing looked at him guardedly. “On what condition? Don’t beat about the bush. Just tell me.”
Lu Yeming’s eyes travelled slowly down her slim, tight body.
She was wearing a youthful white woven skirt. Her long, black hair flowed loosely while her white skirt fluttered gently. In this pleasure-seeking, hedonistic world of theirs, she could be touted as a one-of-kind, pure and innocent beauty.
Now he was scrutinizing her openly, with the sort of gaze that a man used to size up a woman. Direct and willful.
Seeing him, Jun Xiqing’s heart sank. Her hand came into contact with a pillow and she smacked it right into his face.

After that smack, amusement danced upon Lu Yeming’s handsome brows. She was bashful and furious at the same time. Her tiny face was totally red, like a freshly-blooming rose.
“Do you still need to ask what my conditions are? Jun Xiqing, take a good look at yourself. What else do you have to give me in exchange?”
