Chapter 1203: The Engagement
Lu Yeming smiled when he saw Tang Mo’er reject him with such decisiveness.
“Also, Yeming,” Tang Mo’er looked at Lu Yeming and asked, “Who are you bringing with you to Silver Mask King’s engagement banquet? Why don’t you take Qingqing with you?”
It was clear Tang Mo’er wanted to make him a pair with Jun Xiqing.
Lu Yeming didn’t have any expression on his face, he had one hand in his pocket and he answered, “I have something on tonight, so I’m not going either.”
At night, at the South Palace.
Two maids pushed Feng Lingxue into a room. “Go inside, Young Master is still waiting for you inside!”
The room door was slammed shut.
Feng Lingxue could barely stand up straight. She lifted her eyes, noticing Xuan Mu, who sat on the bed while giving her a cold-eyed stare.
After a period of extensive treatment, Xuan Mu had recovered his health but he was still impotent. He could no longer get laid, he was just like a eunuch. Though his body was fine, his heart was broken into pieces.
Xuan Mu glared at Feng Lingxue. The way he was staring at her was just like a vicious scorpion that was sinister, poisonous and very perverted.

“Lingxue, change into this outfit, you don’t need to do any chores today.” Xuan Mu pointed at an outfit placed on the counter.
Feng Lingxue took a look at it. “Where are you taking me?”
“Where?” Xuan Mu laughed creepily. “Brother Ying is getting engaged with Shi Xiaoxiao today. Of course I must take you with me to their engagement banquet.”
Engagement banquet?
Oh, that’s right, he was getting engaged tonight. But why must she be there?

But just after a few steps, when her hand was on the doorknob and just as she was about to get out, Xuan Mu charged over and grasped her slender arm forcibly.
Piak! Xuan Mu lifted his arm, giving her one tight slap.
The corner of Feng Lingxue’s mouth bled, her head started spinning after being hit. She staggered, falling onto the carpeted ground.
Xuan Mu bent over, squeezing her face, exerting so much force that her face contorted. “Feng Lingxue, you slut! I was courteous last time and you really think you can ride on my head now? Who the hell do you think you are? You’ve slept with Xuan Ying so many times and now that you’ve lost your worth, Xuan Ying kicked you away and gave you to me. His intentions are clear, he sent you here for me to torture you!
“Don’t worry, I can’t let my Brother Ying be disappointed, I’ll make sure to do my best in torturing you! Ha ha ha ha!” Xuan Mu laughed maliciously as he leered at her.

The rich and affluent of Country A all gathered at the engagement banquet. It was really a spectacular scene.
The star of the show, Xuan Ying, stood under the bright lights in the middle of the hall. He held a glass of wine in his hand and was surrounded by a group of magnates, they were all sucking up to him.

Silver Mask King, Xuan Ying, seemed to be a little ahead of the race now in front of the West Duke, Lu Yeming. ‘X’ was everywhere now, just like a gust of frosty wind from hell, it really made one shudder without even doing anything.
Everyone had to be careful around Xuan Ying and if given the opportunity, they would gladly suck up to him. Even those daughters of distinguished families were filled with admiration for him.

With a tiny face, radiant skin, long silky hair and red lips, once she appeared, she easily won over every other woman in the room.
