Chapter 16.1 - What a big grain of a little junior sister
Xiao Lin wasted a lot of time and effort before finally sounding out which Taekwondo centre that Mu Cheng went to.
Tang Xiao then wasted a lot of time and effort to make Chief Ning stuff herself there too.
She called for once every day and called happily.
When she had something to ask of him, she’d call “bro” and “bro” happily.
If there wasn't anything, it’d be **** your dad.
Chief Ning was incredibly annoyed and finally personally drove a car to kick her there.
Mu Cheng’s trainer was someone who Chief Ning had introduced him to so when Tang Xiao went over, Mu Cheng was just starting his warm up exercises.
He wore a taekwondo uniform with a black coloured belt around his waist.
Tang Xiao felt her heart beat faster as she couldn’t pull her eyes away from his figure.
After half a moment, she turned to say to chief Ning, “So damn handsome!”
Chief Ning coldly laughed, “So damn embarrassing!”
Tang Xiao: ……
Mu Cheng’s trainer’s last name was ‘Wu’ and had a slender and small type of build.
He didn’t look like as if he had as many muscles as Mu Cheng or Chief Ning.
His whole person looked like a cute little lamb.
“Who is this?” Trainer Wu looked at Tang Xiao and asked.
Chief Ning rolled his eyes. “My old man, said that she wanted to learn taekwondo so just teach her casually.”
Trainer Wu explained taekwondo’s basic etiquette and guidelines before starting off with some basic moves.
Afterwards, Tang Xiao felt like this day was too hard.
In front, she had the trainer furrowing his brows the whole time.
Behind, she had Mu Cheng watching with interest.
And then on the side, a particularly poisonous-tongued Chief Ning.
Chief Ning didn’t let go of a single opportunity to poison Tang Xiao with his tongue.
So even if there weren’t any opportunities, there’d definitely be ways to make opportunities.
When she practised side kicks, Tang Xiao tried as hard as she could to lift her leg up to her waist.
“Your leg and body should be kept straight, your upper torso shouldn’t be falling backwards.” Trainer Wu moved forward to straighten her leg.
Immediately, Tang Xiao couldn’t stand up and in a second, fell to the ground.
“No, no, no, trainer, I can’t do it.” Tang Xiao wanted to pour out some sad tears.
Chief Ning was on the side, calmly speaking, “It’s about right. Her waist has too much excess meat so her leg can’t go up any more.”
Tang Xiao had a grieving and angry face as she looked at Chief Ning.
If Mu Cheng wasn’t there, she would’ve already jumped up to start fighting with Chief Ning.
“You have too much excess meat!”
Chief NIng: “These are abs.”
On the side, Trainer Wu started rubbing his own waist, then looked at Mu Cheng’s waist.
His face was complexed at what this “excess meat” was.
When he swept his eyes over Tang Xiao’s waist, Tang XIao immediately exploded and jumped backwards.
Chief Ning added, “Aye, other girls grew up healthy and strong, maturing up to be the country’s national flower, but you grew up to be a ‘succulent’.”
Tang Xiao: “What do you mean?”
Mu Cheng helpfully translated for her, “A fleshy plant = succulent.”
Tang Xiao finally couldn’t hold it in, and shouted, “Beast!”
After she finished speaking, Mu Cheng and Chief Ning tacitly turned towards her.
“What did you just say?”
Tang Xiao’s face was horrified, how could she have let that slip out!
Chief Ning raised a brow, his eyes slightly menacing.
On the otherside, Mu Cheng was slightly shocked, as if he hadn’t heard her clearly swearing just then.
Between the pressure of the two faces on either side, she immediately shrivelled up.
“I didn’t say anything, you heard wrongly. Let’s just continue, trainer.”
Trainer Wu was obviously completely out of it for the whole exchange and only dazedly nodded.
“You didn’t do it correctly, maybe it’s because your thighs and waist don’t have enough strength. You’ll have to practice more.”
Tang Xiao solemnly nodded.
“Right, it’s not because I’m fat. My body’s perfectly fine, and I don’t have any excess meat!”
The last phrase was spoken for Mu Cheng.
Trainer Wu looked at her encouragingly.
“So, we need to train your thighs and your waist area. Do 60 knee high jumps, and complete it in within 3 minutes.”
Tang Xiao was slackjawed.
Chief Ning on the side, burst into laughter.
When Tang Xiao didn’t work, she pretty much spent all of her time at home playing games online.
The most movement she did was probably when she opened her mouth to swear and yell at Su Muzhe for him to *** his old man and probably when she flipped over to go to sleep.
To suddenly hear that she had to do all of that in three minutes, she suddenly felt like this whole world was full of evil.
After she finished thirty jumps, she was already panting and out of breath.
She was paralysed on the floor, and didn’t want to get up.
“Train … trainer … I feel like it’s not that my thighs and waist don’t have enough strength … it’s because I’m fat, really …”
Chief Ning slowly repeated again, “succulent.”
At this moment, Tang Xiao just wanted to hug the trainer’s thigh and cry.
Her face was already tragic as she weakly answered, “Yes, I am a fleshy plant.”
Chief Ning: BWAHAHAHAHA!
Mu Cheng: …….

Succulent - they use the English for this at first. Succulents are quite fleshy so “fleshy plant” is the direct translation in Chinese. Pic below.
