“Of course!” Lu Yurong laughed gently . “I was in Isolated Cultivation to surpass you yet here you are, your martial arts crippled . I won’t let go of such a great opportunity!”
Chu Li said . “Are you happy now?”

“So be it,” Chu Li said . “I can’t go on my own and let them kill me, right?”
“Seeing you like this, my trip hasn’t been in vain!” Lu Yurong chuckled .
Chu Li replied, “Miss Lu, you really have time on your hands, to travel this far to see me . Now that you’ve seen me, isn’t it time to leave now that the show’s over?”
“There’s no rush . I want to admire more . ” Lu Yurong giggled . “Xiao Qi can’t protect you on her own, I can lend a hand, what do you think?”
Chu Li immediately waved his arm . “I dare not trouble Miss Lu, it’s better if you leave . ”
Lu Yurong snorted . “I won’t go and will lend you a hand . Just remember to return the favor in the future!”
Chu Li shook his head . “This is not considered a favor . ”
“Providing timely help is a saving grace . ” Lu Yurong snorted .
Xiao Qi responded dully, “Miss Lu, I can handle it myself, there’s no need for you to stay . ”
Lu Yurong answered, “Third Lady Xiao really is modest . You can handle it yourself?… If I wasn’t around to vanquish a few people… Did you think only these few were after Chu Li? Chu Li has stepped on many toes so there are countless after his head . ”
Chu Li shook his head and burst into laughter . It was no exaggeration .
Xiao Qi calmly replied, “I can handle it no matter the amount!”
She was confident with Chu Li still possessing God’s Limbs . At worst, she could escape together with Chu Li . They did not need Lu Yurong meddling in their affairs . It would be deadly if she harbored ill intentions and turned against them at the crucial moment .

Just then, the swishing sounds of clothes were heard . Twenty four people in black appeared and laid siege on the trio .
Lu Yurong swept a glance at them .
Chu Li said, “Miss Lu, did you summon them?”
Lu Yurong snorted . “So what if I summoned them!”
Despite this, Chu Li knew these people were not with Lu Yurong . From their swift movements, they had already locked in on their whereabouts . There seemed to be a tracking master among them that should not be underestimated .
Xiao Qi gave Lu Yurong a steely glance .
“Don’t leave anyone behind, kill them all!” One of the men in black solemnly ordered .
At the flash of a white figure, Xiao Qi appeared before him . Her blade light flickered and stabbed through his throat .
The man in black was about to strike when pain came from his throat . Endless darkness surged and engulfed him .
Xiao Qi’s swift motion and powerful Regal Sword Scripture could not compare to Lu Yurong but was more than enough to triumph over others .
Most of the remaining men encircled Xiao Qi while some of them attacked Chu Li .

Lu Yurong smiled at Chu Li without any plans to help .
Chu Li helplessly glanced at her . He took a step to avoid a swinging blade and another step to avoid another incoming sword . He looked as though he was taking a stroll, avoiding a sword at each step . Being attacked by six people did not seem to affect him .
Lu Yurong smiled . “I see you still have your sight!”
In a flash, Xiao Qi appeared behind Chu Li, piercing a person’s throat with a single jab . Her sword twinkled and another was stabbed . Her movements were clean and swift, taking down one with a single stab but faced with the siege of more than a dozen, she could only kill them one by one .
Chu Li replied, “Fine, Miss Lu, I owe you one!”
Lu Yurong chuckled . Her body formed a blurry white figure while her Empyrean Fairy Fist danced around like a butterfly fluttering amongst flowers .
“Wham wham wham wham!” The shadow of her fist was far and wide and soon six men in black let out a grunt . They fell back and dropped on the ground still . They were all dead .
Chu Li shook his head .
Xiao Qi frowned . Her sword was quick but still weaker than Lu Yurong .
She did not let it get to her head and concentrated on swinging her sword .
At another flicker, Lu Yurong’s Empyrean Fairy Fist danced around agilely like a butterfly . Her tender fair hand was the hand of death to the men in black . They tried to evade, and even flee with all their might but it was too late .
With her palm energy omnipresent, they all flew from impact to their deaths .
Xiao Qi swung her sword, faster at each motion .
Her sword movements became smoother and swifter . In the end, a single swing swivelled past the throats of three assailants, deeming it faster by two fractions . She had matched Lu Yurong’s kill count .
Lu Yurong had noticed Xiao Qi’s improvement in swordsmanship . She snorted . “Chu Li, you had it planned . You were using these assassins to practise Third Lady Xiao’s skills . How devoted!”

Chu Li smiled . “Thank you, Miss Lu . If there isn’t anything else, you can go about your way . ”
“You’re ditching me after you have used me… But I really have nothing else going on,” Lu Yurong dully replied . “So I’ll be accompanying you on your journey, to see just how many assassins turn up!”
“I think we’re good . ” Chu Li shook his head .
Lu Yurong frowned . Her gaze turned cold .
Chu Li was not bothered .
If the two women were put together, even if one was smart while the other was cold and distant, they were enemies . After battling it out all these years, they were bound to be at loggerheads and he did not want to be a part of it .
“… Fine, you can come with if you wish to!” Xiao Qi dully said .
Chu Li looked towards her .
Xiao Qi added, “Miss Lu could help . ”
“Of course . ” Lu Yurong smiled . “I will help if Chu Li’s in danger . ”
Chu Li snorted . He knew the reason behind her offering a hand . There was no such thing as a free lunch . She was keeping in mind the number of favors that he had to repay in the future .
