“Men!” The Thin Elder shouted .
Someone in the canyon voiced out, “Master’s Junior Liu?”
“Everyone, come back!” The Thin Elder commanded .
Twelve people in the canyon flew up as they ran against the mountain and climbed up the cliff, appearing in front of the Thin Elder .
The Thin Elder pointed at the four people who were just about to enter the forest . “Lil Guo, hold on a second!”
The four stopped moving .
The Thin Elder ordered . “Get into groups of three . The eight of you will assist Lil Duo and his teams . The rest of you four, stay here . There’s no reason to wait in the canyon . The two of them are inside this forest . ”
According to his knowledge, the disciples of the Holy Church of Light were able to cast Light Blades with both of their hands . Hence, it would be impossible to take out a group of three instantaneously . They would reveal themselves if they decided to attack .
“Yes . ” The two groups fist saluted together .
The eight middle-aged men glided down as they grouped up with Lil Guo and the other three . They formed into groups of three as they entered the forest unwaveringly .
Meanwhile, the remaining four stood by the Thin Elder’s side .
“Master’s Junior Liu, are they really in there?”
“I’m fairly certain!”
“These two are very bold! How dare they charge in here!”
“The thing which the disciples of the Holy Church of Light do best is being bold!”
“The Light Blades are indeed frightening . All of you have to be wary of it . Although we’ve got the number, we must be careful, or we’ll be at the disadvantage!”

“I just don’t want everyone to be reckless!”
“Quiet!” The Thin Elder said calmly .
The four of them ceased their discussions immediately .
“Look below!” The Thin Elder said, “Prepare to attack!”
“Yes!” The four of them nodded simultaneously .
Lu Ruolan looked at Chu Li .
Chu Li pointed at Li Ruolan before he pointed at the canyon . He then pointed at himself before pointing at the Elder .
Li Ruolan frowned as she shook her head .
She understood Chu Li’s intention . The latter wanted her to retreat first while he faced against the Elder .
Chu Li whispered to the point where no one could hear him . “I can deal with that old man . You should escape first and wait for me at the front!”
“No . ” Li Ruolan shook her head . “We’ll go together . ”
Chu Li frowned as he looked at her .
Li Ruolan stared firmly back at him .
Chu Li shook his head helplessly as he whispered . “I’ll head out first and you can hide from the side . Feel free to attack at the critical moment . ”
“Sure . ” Li Ruolan smiled .
The Light Blades were incredibly powerful and it was best used in an ambush .
Chu Li slanted to the right as he glided over .
He glided for hundreds of meters, not being in a hurry to attack first . He landed on the ground as he swiftly started his thirty-six energy-nurturing forms as he gathered as much blade energy for the Single Slice of the Universe as possible into his Dantian .
One of the groups of three approached closer and they soon saw him .
“Who’s that!” The three screamed .

Chu Li immediately waved both of his hands .
“Thud thud!” There were two soft thuds as four streams of blade energy were shot toward the three middle-aged men .
There was a whistling sound as the three started moving horizontally .
The string in their hearts tightened . They had been taking cautions against the Light Blade; they knew that the Light Blades were approaching when they heard the whistle .
Unfortunately, the Light Blades were simply too quick . It was too late for the trio by the time they saw it .
Three slices of blade energies pierced through their palms and entered their abdomens .
“Ah…” The three covered their abdomens as they glided down frustratingly .
“Thud thud thud!” The trio crashed into the ground . The tyrannic blade energy drilled into their Dantian, heavily damaging them . This caused their inner energy to swamp out like a flash flood, losing all their cultivations .
“Over there!” The remaining nine charged in .
“Move aside!” A thunderous scream came from the sky as the Thin Elder charged toward Chu Li like a golden hawk .
Chu Li squinted his eyes as he smiled coldly . He swung his right hand and a stream of blade energy was instantly shot at the Thin Elder .
The Thin Elder swung his longsword while he was in the air .
“Ding…” The longsword trembled as it dispersed the blade energy .
His expression changed slightly as the energy of the blade went into his longsword and traveled into his hand . It was extremely painful; it felt as though a needle had been drilled into him, swimming freely through his meridians . This caused him to feel uncomfortable around his meridians .
“Whoosh!” Chu Li swung his right hand again as he threw out another blade .
“Ding…” The Thin Elder’s body trembled once more as he glided down to the ground .
Chu Li stood firmly on the ground . He did not take a single step back as he kept moving his hands . Each and every blade was fused with the Single Slice of the Universe’s blade energy, incredibly formidable .
The Thin Elder’s expression was incredibly heavy as he kept swinging his sword . The blade energy was stopping him from pressing forward . In fact, he was already at his limit for not advancing at all .

He realized how simple-minded he was . He thought that this b*stard would not be able to stop him if he were to swing his sword . No matter how strong the Light Blade was, no one would be able to stop him unless their cultivation level was the same as his .

“How dare you say such a thing!” The Thin Elder screamed .
He summoned his inner energy as he pitted it against the dozen of blade energy coming from the Single Slice of the Universe .
Chu Li sighed . “I don’t want to kill any innocent people . Killing them is extremely easy!”
The Thin Elder smiled coldly . “You can’t escape from the Hai Cang Mountain’s pursuit even if you kill all of them!”
Chu Li said . “I guess you won’t give it up until you’re a step away from death!”
He swung his right hand .
“Ding…” The Thin Elder swung down his sword as he deflected away a flying blade . However, his right hand became numb as the flying blade was packed with an astounding force, unlike the previous blade energy .
His expression turned gloomy as he knew that the rest of the men would not be able to receive such an attack .
The nine middle-aged men surrounded the area .
“Master’s Junior Liu, let’s attack him all at once!” One of them shouted .
“Back off, all of you!” The Thin Elder ordered .
“Master’s Junior Liu…” They widened their eyes in confusion . It was nine against one . There was no need for him to kill Chu Li personally . Why did he not make use of the advantage they had?
“Back off!” The Thin Elder ordered . “No one is to be near him!”

The nine of them could not comprehend him at all . Yet, they did not dare to defy his order as they slowly backed off .
“Get out of the forest!” The Thin Elder scoffed .
The nine men helplessly backed out of the forest as they glided onto the wall . They could not observe the situation clearly at all from that distance .
Chu Li placed his right hand into his sleeve, fumbled about for a while before he revealed the shining flying blades in between his fingers . “That’s a wise decision!”
“Who are you?” The Thin Elder kept steering his inner energy as he tried to disperse the blade energy from the Single Slice of the Universe . He tried to delay the situation by talking to him .
Chu Li said, “I’m the disciple from the Holy Church of Light, Zhao Dahe!”
“You live up to your name!” The Thin Elder spoke softly, “I didn’t expect you to be this strong . ”
“I have a question to you people from the Hai Cang Mountain . Zhao Haiyun has done nothing but evil deeds in my Li Dynasty . Is this how the disciple of the Hai Cang Mountain supposed to be?!” Chu Li asked .
“Hai Cang Mountain will deal with their disciples in their own discretion!” The Thin Elder scoffed, “It’s not the Holy Church of Light’s place to meddle in!”
“He’s an evil person . Anyone has the right to punish him!” Chu Li scoffed, “The Light Blade’s blade energy is incredibly pure, right? How long will you take to disperse it?”
“The Light Blades are indeed strong!” The Thin Elder responded, “If that’s the case, let’s see who’s the stronger one!”
Chu Li retreated . “Don’t blame me for not showing you any mercy if you keep chasing after me . I won’t be just crippling your martial arts next time . I’ll kill you directly!”
The Thin Elder stared at him . He maintained some ten meters distance away from Chu Li as he chased after him .
Chu Li ignored him as he grouped up with Li Ruolan . They then ran against the cliff as if it was a flat surface .
The nine middle-aged men caught up with the Thin Elder and said hastily . “Master’s Junior Liu, are we going to let them off the hook just like that?”
