“Bang, bang!” Lu Guangdi suddenly attacked the Protectors near the two sides of the stone lions at the entrance . He swiftly leaped up and struck his opponents, sending them flying .
Chu Li frowned before his expression darkened .
Lu Guangdi was merely causing a commotion in King An’s Imperial Residence to vent his anger .
It seemed that Lu Guangdi was acting brazenly because he was certain that he could defeat Chu Li .
Moments later, Lu Guangdi furrowed his eyebrows when he noticed that Lu Yurong was standing nearby .
Lu Yurong was dressed in an ivory tunic; a white veil shrouded her face . She indifferently glanced at Lu Guangdi while keeping calm . Lu Yurong had seemingly distanced herself from the matter by pretending that she simply wanted to witness everything unfold .
Had Lu Yurong not returned to the Public House? Why was she back in Fairy’s Capital?
When he thought of that, Chu Li faintly said, “Lu Guangdi, come inside!”
Chu Li’s voice echoed into the distance; it seemed to have ringed into Lu Guangdi and Lu Yurong’s ears .
When he heard Chu Li’s voice, Lu Guangdi frowned while his inner energy grew more intense . It would not be easy for Chu Li to defeat Lu Guangdi because the latter had improved since they last met . Chu Li would need to fight carefully to avoid meeting unexpected setbacks .
Lu Guangdi turned around and glanced at Lu Yurong when that thought crossed his mind . Smiling, he asked, “Yu… Miss Lu, should we go inside?”
Lu Yurong replied, “What do you think?”
“I don’t think we should do that!” Lu Guangdi sneered . “Why should we listen to him? He should come outside and let everyone watch as he humiliates himself!”
Lu Yurong smiled without making any comments .
Lu Guangdi raised his voice and yelled, “The person named Chu should just come out . There’s no need to worry about feeling embarrassed . You should feel honored being defeated by me!”
Xiao Shi scoffed . “Is that man crazy?”
Lu Guangdi was extremely conceited . It seemed that nobody else was brave enough to act in such an arrogant manner in front of Chu Li until today . Everyone else feared Chu Li because of his influential background . Furthermore, they felt pressured when they were near Chu Li because his status as the youth champion was established out of nowhere .
Lu Guangdi was already arrogant in the past, but his behavior was much worse now . From Lu Guangdi’s tone, it seemed like he was certain that he could defeat Chu Li .
Chu Li said, “His martial arts have probably improved greatly because he seems extremely confident . I should go and see his strength for myself . ”
Xiao Qi whispered, “Can you defeat him?”
“I’d only find out if I fought him . ” Smiling, Chu Li shook his head and said, “He seems rather powerful now . ”
“Why are you taking these risks?” Xiao Qi asked .
Chu Li replied, “He won’t rest until I defeat him!”
Chu Li still remembered that he made a deal with Lu Yurong to chase Lu Guangdi out of Fairy’s Capital . Unfortunately, it would not be an easy task for Chu Li to drive Lu Guangdi out of here because the latter was extremely thick-skinned . Chu Li needed to violently provoke him .
When he remembered those things, Chu Li slowly stepped forward and walked outside .
Xiao Shi and Xiao Qi followed him outside as well .
Lu Guangdi stood at the foot of the steps in front of the entrance and sneered . “The person named Chu is definitely afraid . He’s turned into a tortoise that hides in its shell!” Haha, what kind of youth champion is he? This is unbelievably hilarious!”
Chu Li’s voice rang out . “Don’t worry, I’m coming right away . ”
The main doors were opened before Chu Li led Xiao Qi and Xiao Shi go through the threshold . He briefly glanced at Lu Guangdi and Lu Yurong who stood below the steps then gazed at the two Protectors who were lying on the ground .

Chu Li came forward and approached the Protectors before he lowered his head and looked at them . “Are you alright?”
The two men froze while resentment filled their gazes .
Chu Li gently patted both of them and immediately healed the men, making them as good as new . The Protectors leaped up from the ground and fiercely glared at Lu Guangdi .
Chu Li said, “Both of you should go back now . ”
“Head Chief!” The pair looked ashamed .
Those two men had disgraced King An’s Imperial Residence . They made it seem as though King An’s Imperial Residence was unoccupied when they allowed themselves to be defeated by Lu Guangdi so easily .
Chu Li waved his hand and said, “It’s not your fault because you were no match for him, so go back and rest . ”
“Yes . ” The pair grudgingly made fist salutes and resentfully glared at Lu Guangdi before they entered the imperial residence .
Lu Guangdi sneered . “Chu Li, you certainly know how to make yourself popular . However, that’s nothing more than a trick . The only thing that matters is martial arts!”
Chu Li replied, “You’re terribly hot-tempered . Tell me, why did you come looking for me?”
“Hmph, you’re so forgetful . Did you forget the things that I previously said?” Lu Guangdi cast a sidelong glance at Chu Li before sneering . “I recently came out of Isolated Cultivation to teach you a lesson!”
Chu Li smirked before he glanced at Lu Yurong . “Miss Lu, are you here to watch the excitement unfold?”
“Of course . I wouldn’t want to miss such an exciting event . ” There was a faint smile on Lu Yurong’s face .
Chu Li scoffed before he said, “I really don’t want to speak to such an idiot, much less fight him . ”

“Hmph, idiot!” The expression on Lu Guangdi’s handsome face suddenly darkened before he murderously glared at Chu Li . “You think that you’re the only intelligent person on earth while the rest of us are fools, but you’re actually the biggest idiot!”
Chu Li replied, “What Divine Techniques have you learned while you were undergoing Isolated Cultivation? Your martial arts have greatly improved . ”
“Hmph, now that you’ve mentioned it, I should be thanking you . ” Lu Guangdi glanced at Chu Li from the corner of his eye before he snarkily said, “Thanks to your provocation, I was able to determinedly undergo cultivation and improve myself . Now that my martial arts have advanced because of that, I can firmly suppress you . ”
Chu Li retorted, “It’s fortunate that I could contribute to your progress, but you must be an idiot if you think that you can beat me with your current level of martial arts . You should return and train properly . Otherwise, you’ll just make a fool out of yourself!”
“You still insist on glorifying yourself even at this stage . You’re so stubborn!” Lu Guangdi disdainfully spat . “Come, I’m going to teach you a thing or two about martial arts!”
Chu Li shook his head and said, “I would never fight with someone for no reason . ”
“You’re afraid!” Lu Guangdi disdainfully sneered .
Chu Li replied, “Why don’t we make a bet?”
“What bet?” Lu Guangdi scoffed .
Chu Li said, “The loser has to scram and leave Fairy’s Capital without setting foot in this place for the rest of his life!”
“That’s cruel!” Lu Guangdi sneered . “But do you think that I’m afraid of your measly bet?”
Chu Li quietly asked, “Do you agree or not?”
“No problem . ” Lu Guangdi scoffed . “I’d like to see how you’ll continue your duties as Head Chief when you’re banned from stepping foot into Fairy’s Capital!”
Chu Li said, “Miss Lu will be our witness . ”

Xiao Qi and Xiao Shi helplessly shook their heads while looking at Chu Li .
When he saw the girls’ reactions, Lu Guangdi could not stop chuckling because he felt even prouder of himself .

The tip of Chu Li’s sword suddenly moved so quickly that its shadow could not be seen clearly . His sword had already pierced through Lu Guangdi’s palm when it appeared again .
Chu Li sheathed his sword before he indifferently glanced at Lu Guangdi . “It looks like you haven’t made much progress!”
“You…” Lu Guangdi stared at Chu Li in disbelief while blood trickled out of his palm that was stabbed .
Lu Guangdi acted like a cat toying with a mouse because he was brimming with confidence earlier . He wanted to take his time torturing Chu Li before finally crippling him .
