“Master Gu, we’re here to carry out the Emperor’s decree in checking the investigation progress . ” The two black-robed elders chuckled . “How’s the progress?”
“It’s looking good, we’re advancing slightly . ” Gu Yu smiled .
The slender elder in black solemnly answered, “There’s an order by the Emperor for the Secret Guardians Hall to crack this case within three days to seek vengeance for the Minister!”
“Three days?” Chen Donghai exclaimed .
The two black-robed elders turned to look at him .
Chen Donghai immediately gestured a fist salute to greet them . “Elders, three days may be tight, I’m afraid…”
Gu Yu helplessly nodded . “To tell you the truth, we haven’t had any major breakthrough in this investigation . The perpetrator is a skilled master that’s tough and overbearing . He did all of his killing with a single punch, leaving none of the Li Residence’s thirty-five lives alive . No one saw what he looked like nor the martial arts he cultivated . It’s a case of mystery!”
“The Emperor doesn’t care about this . ” The slender elder in black shook his head . “This case is having an increasingly negative impact and if it isn’t solved the soonest, everyone in Fairy’s Capital and Ji Dynasty would lose faith in the imperial court . ”

The two black-robed elders were internal guards of the Imperial House . They would normally stay by the Emperor’s side, but they were sent here to communicate the Emperor’s concern on the case .
Trouble would brew if these two were offended and as a consequence, return to speak ill of them to the Emperor .
“Okay, tell us, how can we help you?” The plump black-robed elder beamed . “I’ll spare no effort if we can help . ”
“In order to crack this case, we still need one more person’s help,” Chen Donghai said . “Solving this case isn’t hard if this person is involved . ”
“Who?” Gu Yu asked with curiosity .
The two Imperial House’s internal guards stared at him curiously .

“Tell us, who is this capable person?” The plump black-robed elder smiled .
Chen Donghai glanced at Gu Yu and breathed through his teeth . “Chu Li!”
“Which Chu Li?” the elder in black asked .
Chen Donghai hesitated and looked towards Gu Yu .
Gu Yu frowned . “Chu Li, Head Chief of King An’s Imperial Residence?”
“Yes . ” Chen Donghai forcefully nodded . “We don’t have any leads but Chu Li might have . Surely we’ll be able to crack the case and catch the perpetrator if he’s involved!”
“Chu Li’s crippled of his martial arts . He won’t amount to anything!” Gu Yu coldly blurted .
Chen Donghai remarked, “Even if he’s crippled of his martial arts, he still has good sight . ”
Giving him the side glance, Gu Yu had figured out his motive .
This plan would drag Chu Li into the mess and they could make a scapegoat out of him .
