He wondered, ‘Since when did Secret Guardians Hall become like this? How can they arrest people just because of what they say? This is crazy! Has the Secret Guardians Hall changed ever since Gu Yu rose to power?’

Upon hearing her, the two black-robed men turned to look at her unpleasantly .
They turned to fix their gaze on Xiao Qi .

Lady, don’t make us force you! If we make a move, even if you can escape, we’ll issue red notices . You won’t be able to make it far . ”
Xiao Qi questioned, “Was Secret Guardians Hall always so oppressive?”
“Of course!” the two men answered arrogantly .
Finally, Chu Li turned around to look at the two men . “Since when did Secret Guardians Hall become like this? You’re new to Secret Guardians Hall, aren’t you?”
Chu Li had seen almost every protector from Secret Guardians Hall but he had never seen the two of them before .
When the two men glanced at Chu Li, they rolled their eyes . “What high-sounding sentiments! Are you a secret guardian too?”
Chu Li retrieved a badge from his pocket and threw it to them .
The moment the two men saw what it was, their faces changed instantly .
They recognized that it was the centurion’s badge . Even though the centurion was not their direct superior, he had the power to transfer them if help was needed . If they disobeyed the centurion’s order, they would be doomed .
“Centurion Chu?” The burly middle-aged protector furrowed his brows . “Are you Chu Li? Centurion Chu?”
Chu Li nodded lightly . “I’m Chu Li . ”
“Hehe, so it is Centurion Chu . ” The two secret guardians looked at each other and smiled widely .
Disappointed, Chu Li sighed . “Looks like my title as Centurion Chu has become a thing of the past . ”

At once, Xiao Qi reached her sword out to receive the badge before she placed it nicely on the table in front of Chu Li .
With that, the two protectors were even more certain that Chu Li had been crippled of his martial art .

“That’s truly a pity . ” The burly protector gave him a fist salute . “We’re no longer the same kind of people now . A secret guardian must have martial art skills, or else, one will be useless since they can’t do anything, am I right?”
Chu Li could not help but laugh . “Are you asking me to resign from my post as the centurion?”
“Hehe, Centurion Chu, you should know what to do . ” The burly protector gave him a fist salute again .
Xiao Qi uttered coldly, “How dare you!”
Right away, the burly secret guardian’s face darkened . He scoffed, “You’re the Third Lady, right?”
Xiao Qi glared at him without emotions .
The burly secret guardian scorned, “This is not the Yi Public House and I’m not your public house’s protector, I’m a secret guardian at the Secret Guardians Hall . Your unrestrained behavior will not be tolerated!”
Chu Li laughed again . “This is interesting, the secret guardians from Secret Guardians Hall are becoming more terrible . ”

Chu Li narrowed his eyes at him .
Chu Li realized that ever since his martial art was crippled, his title had become useless too . Not only that, but he had also become a target for others to trample on . After all, his days in the past were too glorious .

The crowd around them watched enjoyably as they were eager to see how Chu Li would react .
