Su Mo once again arrived before the brain of the Ancient Demon and looked at the numerous insects flying around it. A cold smile stretched across his face.
Although these insects were strong, they were no longer a threat to him.
“Hm, why is there one more?”
As his eyes scanned the insects, Su Mo was surprised. He found that there was an additional purple-gold insect among the group.
Li Hentian had killed two of the purple-gold insects by the Seven-colored Glazed Pagoda previously, leaving 14 in the nest.
However, there were now 15 purple-gold insects.
“Could these insects possibly evolve?” Su Mo thought. The purple-gold insects were highly likely evolved versions of the silver-colored insects.
That was incredible. If all the insects could evolve to become the golden-colored insects, they would be a formidable force.
A few moments later, Su Mo did not ponder further and retrieved his stone sword to strike fiercely against the Ancient Demon’s Brain.

Sharp, three-colored Sword Qi tore apart the space and went straight towards the Ancient Demon’s Brain.

With a loud, explosive sound, the Sword Qi exploded against the Ancient Demon’s Brain, causing the Demon Head Mountain to shake violently.
A few dozen black and silver insects were killed by this sword strike and they fell down to the ground like rain droplets.
On the other hand, a large, foot-long scar had formed on the Ancient Demon’s Head and black-colored medulla oozed out like sticky mucus.

In an instant, numerous insects flew towards Su Mo like incredibly fast lightning.
Covering the entire sky, the numerous insects zapped through the air in a nightmarish scene.

Now, these insects were no longer even able to penetrate through Su Mo’s protective Dark Force array.
In a few instants, Su Mo closed down on the Ancient Demon’s Brain and two purple-gold insects started to chase after him.
These two purple-gold insects were fast and they shot through the air like a sharp arrow. In the blink of an eye, they were inches from Su Mo.
“Die!” Su Mo had been prepared, and with a light yell, he raised two swords in both hands.
Shoosh! Shoosh!
In an instant, two sharp Sword Qi directly flew towards the two purple-gold insects, instantly striking against the two.
Bam! Bam!
Two strong metallic sounds resounded through the air as the two purple-gold insects were thrown away from the impact. After they struck the wall heavily, they fell to the ground.
However, the two insects did not die and swayed dizzily before they started to fly again.
After Su Mo had thrown the two insects away, he continued to speed towards the Ancient Demon’s Brain.
At that point, the remaining 13 purple-gold insects and a large number of silver insects formed a large longsword again and flew towards Su Mo.

In a few breaths of time, the sticky, goo-like medulla was retrieved by Su Mo.
With a slight hint of black color, a wondrous aura came from the medulla, as thought it were bejeweled nectar.

After obtaining the medulla, Su Mo immediately left the wide space of the Ancient Demon’s Brain and left the mountain.
He did not retrieve a lot of medulla as he only wanted to try it out. After all, the Demon Head Mountain was in the Bangle Space and he could always take it anytime he wanted.
“Hope it doesn’t disappoint me!” Sitting cross-legged on the floor, Su Mo carried the egg-sized medulla and muttered to himself.
However, Su Mo was slightly reluctant to eat it. It was the medulla, after all. An Ancient Demon’s medulla. It was gross.
Yet, after recalling the effectiveness of the medulla, Su Mo immediately opened his mouth widely and devoured the medulla.
Once the medulla entered his system, Su Mo immediately shut his eyes and cultivated it. A thin layer of energy and warmth gushed out and rolled in his body.
This warm sensation spread through Su Mo’s body and then rushed into his mind.
Then, the warm energy covered the Devouring Fighting Soul and slowly nourished it.
“It is indeed marvelous!” Su Mo jumped for joy. He could feel that his Spiritual Soul was slowly being enhanced.
