These words rang through all the elders’ ears, baffling them.
Some wore looks of utter shock, some were doubtful looks, some were stunned and others wore looks of realisation.
The Empty Sky Sect’s elders were naturally doubtful, while the elders of the True Path Sect were stunned.
The only one who looked like he understood everything was Elder Yin Ze. Su Mo was extraordinary and with him being a Martial Sage, he could tell that Su Mo was exceptional.
Elder Ma slowly turned around and he scanned the other disciples of the sect with eyes full of questions.
The group of Empty Sky Sect disciples nodded their heads timidly, confirming the truth.
“How could that be?” Elder Ma’s face turned completely dark after he saw all the disciples nodded their heads.
How could Li Hentian be dead?
The Rank 4 Martial Honorable, Li Hentian had the Seven-colored Glazed Pagoda with him. How could he have been killed by Su Mo?
Even after receiving the confirmation by all the other disciples, Elder Ma was in disbelief. Li Hentian could not have been killed by Su Mo.

The gateway was currently closing. Those who had not appeared by now were dead.

Elder Ma sighed deeply. Regardless of what had happened exactly, Li Hentian and the other disciples were killed by Su Mo. That was an indisputable fact.
“You despicable brat, you are so vicious!” Cold eyes fell upon Su Mo as Elder Ma cursed him. Killing intent surged through his heart.
It was a massive loss for the Empty Sky Sect to have had so many disciples killed in one go.
“I am vicious?”
Su Mo burst out laughing as he said, matter of factly, “Li Hentian chased after me to kill me, is that not vicious too? They sought their own deaths, you can’t blame me!”
“Go and die!” Elder Ma instantly raged out as Dark Force gathered around his palm, signalling an attack.

Right at that moment, Elder Yin Ze who had been silent all along, glowered.
Although his voice wasn’t loud, it shot through Elder Ma’s mind and Elder Ma’s face instantly went pale.
Elder Ma’s heart jumped in shock and he immediately stopped himself. Although he was angry, he controlled his rage.
“Ma Yu, your Empty Sky Sect disciples plotted to kill Su Mo but was killed by Su Mo instead. As an elder, how could you try to kill Su Mo?” Elder Yin Ze calmly chided.
Elder Ma’s full name was Ma Yu.
“Apologies!” Elder Ma’s face was dark as he shook his head. He didn’t dare to oppose Elder Yin Ze.

Sage-to-be Zhen Gu reminded Elder Ma as he wore a sneer on his face.
